I first decided that I wanted to eat at Radius when I watched the first episode of Top Chef Masters.  Michael Schlow, owner and chef of Radius, did not do too well on the show.  Not only he didn't take home the win, he was the lowest scoring chef in that episode.  Nonetheless, I admired his grace and modesty, plus his easy-going attitude and sense of humor.  I thought that his restaurant must carry the same personality.

Radius is a lot fancier than I imagined. The price is in the fine dining range, providing a tasting menu and wine pairing.  But they also offer a $45 prix fix, which listed 2 of my favorite things: veal sweetbreads and pork loin.  So it was an easy choice for me.

My sweetbreads were delicious--- they were crunchy and fried to perfection, accompanied by a delicious sauce I eventually cleaned up with my bread.  My dinning companion ordered gnocchi and she loved every bite of it.

The main courses were good, but less impressive than the appetizers.  My pork loin was cooked perfectly (seeing a little pink), and well seasoned.  Pork loin is a tricky piece of meat to cook, as it dries easily and is generally difficult to season thoroughly.  Radius did a good job, but perhaps I liked the sweetbreads too much and  therefore the pork paled by comparison.

The other entree, the ribeye steak, had all the flavors but was overcooked according to my dinning bud.  She was too hungry to send it back, which we both regretted not doing later, because knowing Radius, they would've absolutely gotten it out right for us.

Before we started our meals we were given spoonfuls of amuse bouche, a raw hamachi treat, which was delicious.  And my watermelon martini was one of the best fruity cocktails I've ever had.  Such were additional delights of Radius.

Last but not least, was the service at Radius.  We loved, loved, loved our waiter.  He was knowledgeable, accommodating, and classic cool.  At the end, he put my 5th star on the board.

I loved Radius.  We got the pre fix menu so I don't know about cost.  I would assume it was expensive.  But the food we got was fantastic and the service was fantastic too.  I HATE when servers reach across you.  Other restaurants should have mandatory training sessions here.

Portions were small but they are supposed to be.  If you want overflowing dishes, go to Chilis

I am here to proclaim (so pay attention): Boston magazine was not messing around when they named Radius' burger the Best of Boston 2009.  So ridiculously gooooooood!

I came here yesterday w/some co-workers for Restaurant Week, and while I originally planned on ordering off the RW menu (which I would still love to try), I could not resist the powers of what proved to be the most decadent burger on earth.  Cheddar cheese, horseradish sauce and some onions on top of a gorgeous burger that was made whole by an absolutely delicious and buttery bun.  Oh yeah, I chose right.

This place had a really great atmosphere and service was outstanding.  The food was good, but was SOOOOO expensive.  Maybe some people are willing to pay that much money for fois gras, but i'm not particularly one of them.  Don't get me wrong, the food was great, but the price just made it less appetizing.  The service was outstanding.  Some may consider it too outstanding.  It was like the waitstaff was watching us every second to see how we were doing and make sure we were serviced, but you know what?  Sometimes I like to be left alone and not waited on hand and foot!  In any case, if that's your thing, then this is the place to go.  Overall, the food was good, but it was a bit hard to relax sometimes and enjoy everything.

Radius is one of the better restaurants in Boston. Excellent service and even better food. Extremely pricey, but you can try it out during Restaurant Week and it won't break the bank.

We dined here a few months ago, and I remember the food being delicious. To start, we had a cauliflower soup that was oh so good. I forget what we had as main entrees, but I just remember all of us leaving feeling thoroughly satisfied and just a little bit like we wanted to change into moomoos. In our bill, they gave each of us gift certificates for our next dinner there, so that's a definite plus!

I ended up here with a friend the other night to look over some papers. We decided to sit in the bar area, at a high-top table next to the windows, so we would have good light.

Opting for a slightly cheaper meal, we each got 1 drink and shared some appetizers. It ended up not being so cheap....

For the drinks, we each got the Watermelon Martiini ($14): a basic Watermelon Martini, but with Parsley Oil added - I think to look like Watermelon seeds? Or just add the green color? Gave it a bit of a weird taste, but we both drank ours down. And they were STRONG! Whoooa nelly.

For food, we shared the duck egg rolls - there were 5, so we each got 2 and split 1 - and they were tasty, and not very duck-tasting! Crispy, with a good dipping sauce and nice salad/garnish. We also got the sausage quesadillas - there were 3 and they were each a bit smaller than a CD. VERY tasty.

We were still a bit hungry, so we asked how big the hamburger was - thinking it was a slider. The waiter (a nice British guy who was very helpful!!) said it was huge and he normally couldn't finish it. So we got that ($19) and when it came, we realized we should have just gotten it to start! It came already cut in half and on 2 plates (so nice!) and with a side of french fries each (served in teeny copper pots) and a good portion of ketchup. The burger was juicy, thick and amazing and had horseradish sauce, fried onions and I think cheese (they don't have the apps listed online). SOOOOO tasty. GET THIS if you are there for dinner but sitting in the bar!

The presentation is great and the decor is very chic and modern - which I like. The staff is friendly, yet a bit high-class. It's obviously pricey - ours came out to $85 without tip! - but from what we tasted, the food is wonderful!

Had always wanted to try this place but found it inconveniently closed on Sundays...  finally got a Friday reservation last week.

The food was very elegant and well done.  Classic American dishes cooked so that the taste of the food itself was showcased; i.e. not too much sauce or seasoning.

Service was also remarkable.  Warm bread was promptly replenished the moment it was finished.  Fresh napkins were found on the table upon returning from the restroom/phone call/etc.  Water glasses were never empty.

Excellent freebies!  Not something you expect at such a high end place, but we got complimentary ceviche canapes at the beginning of the meal, and some free truffles at the end.

But there was something missing that's preventing a 5 star rating.  While I can't quite put my finger on it, I think it has to do with the fact that I found the place to be sterile on the whole.  The dining room was aesthetically pleasing, but there was something about it that seemed stark and a tad bit like Big Brother was watching  And the servers, while extremely attentive, were somewhat robotic.  I guess overall, in spite of the wonderful food, the experience left me feeling like I was in some sort of Brave New World Gattaca futuristic movie.

Believe the burger hype. The wife and I both ordered it and agree it was the best burger we've ever had. Excellent service and the appetizers and desert (their take on a boston creme donut) were just as excellent. Wish I didn't live so far away, yet to find a burger in jersey that comes even close to this.

Had a superb meal on Saturday after attending some of the free concert at Gov't Center.

Started with parsnip soup with English peas and pea ice cream.  Very tasty, but as one companion noted, the ice cream kind of made the soup luke-warm.

Then, as a counterpoint to the steak of the previous evening at a different venue which was not enjoyed by my son, I ordered the ribeye, which was terrific.

Tried the sole, loup de mer, and char ordered by companions, all of which were excellent.  Kitchen went off-menu for my 8 year old nephew, who ate what looked to be an excellent cheese burger.

I was too full for dessert, but the Boston creme donuts were liked by those who ate them.

Service was perfect -- attentive but not intrusive.   Go.

I'm going to make it short since I meant to write this review awhile ago, but I haven't done until now. My only experience there was 3 weeks ago for lunch with good friends, and it was excellent. The food and the service. Our waitress was superb and gracious, and friendly. It could be expensive, but once in awhile it is worth it to treat yourself with a good meal, good service and good friends.

Lo recomiendo mucho (I recommend it very much)

Great restaurant.  I've been here a few times and I have found the food to be fantastic every time.  The hamburger with horseradish dressing is the best $20 you'll ever spend. It's always a staple item.

The only reason why I gave this place 4 stars and not 5 is because while the food is fantastic, it's not always consistent.  For example, if you like the way something was made one time, they may not prepare it the same way the next time.  I ordered the beef tartare my first visit here and absolutely loved it.  It was the classic raw beef with a little bit of oil and seasoning; the second time I came I ordered the beef tartare again, only this time it was raw beef with a light aioli mixed in it.  It was still good, just not what I remembered.  I guess it's a double edged sword with that stuff though. If you don't change up the menu, things get old. But if you do, you risk compromising certain customer's favorites.

Radius is a great Boston restaurant; and the food is always excellent.

Came to Boston for business and was referred to this place by a colleague. This restaurant is featured in many Boston Travel Brochures and supposedly serves an award-winning burger. Located in the financial district this location is easily accessible through the subway.  The outer exterior is very sheek, while the interior is lit a dim red. The main dining area is large and spacious, while the bar is set away in the front. The wait staff and bartenders are very friendly. Kim was bartending that night, and she was very cordial and provided good suggestions regarding the menu.

With that said, I ordered the famous burger. It was definitely one of the more delicious burgers I've had. However, for the price of $20, this burger can be slightly pricey considering it comes with only french fries. Regardless, it was a delicious burger. Worth visiting at least once for the atmosphere and maybe the burger, if not one of the many other entrees they provide.

I went here for the first time for lunch. Wait staff is very nice and friendly and the atmosphere is lovely, though the AC was on full blast and it was already cold and rainy outside.

Food was good, but not exceptional. A friend got the signature burger. which was admittedly delicious. the creamy horseradish sauce along with the crispy onions and cheese is what makes this hamburger special. the meat itself is just regular beef.

i had the organic herb chicken which, from the menu's description, was supposed to come with peas, carrots and fingerling potatoes. the chicken was delicious looking and tasting, but it was inexplicably served on a very large plate which only highlighted the fact that there was little in way of side vegetables or sauce. chicken was juicy and moist with crispy skin and had a great flavor, but it was served over a teeny tiny assortment of veggies and one of those annoying tiny tear drop size smudges of some sort of cold carrot puree reminiscent of baby food . when I got my dish, i honestly thought they had forgotten to add the potatoes and for a split second I imagined I might be awaiting a steaming side dish of roasted fingerlings, the grim reality set in when I realized that the potatoes where actually in the veggie mix in the form of THREE razor thin slices. This is not an exaggeration-I counted. there were also, about two sugar snap peas and a few insinuations of carrot and mushrooms. so basically he dish was a good size piece of chicken on a giant white plate for $22. it all tasted quite lovely but i was definitely disappointed in the stingy portions. for that alone i don't think i could bring myself back there.

If I could rate the bar area and the restaurant separately, I would give the bar 4 stars and the main dining room 3.

The bar menu is fantastic, and is definitely worth the trek to pretty isolated location of Radius. The cocktails are innovative, wine list excellent, and the food decent.

Unfortunately, the main dining room is not. I had the 4 course tasting menu and the cheese course, as well as the roast chicken on a separate occasion. The food was over seasoned, and kind of boring. The lobster was sort of rubbery. All of that I would have overlooked had the service been better.

Here was my main problem. We saw our waiter twice the whole night. He introduced himself and took our order, and came by once in the night to see how we were doing. All of our food was delivered by a friendly and professional back waitress. However, she could not understand when I asked my steak to be taken back because it was way too salty until it was conveyed by my friend in Spanish. But she was incredibly nice and I really did not want a replacement , so the situation worked itself out. Our waiter was never to be found. Our check was brought to us by the hostess. I really wanted to just tip the back waitress and the very nice bussers, but could not see anyway around it. The second time was just as bad. I went with some coworkers, and ordered the chicken. Our waiter  was incredibly snooty (although not outwardly rude) and was inattentive.

Just stay in the bar area the dining room is not worth the hassle.

I went there on a date for lunch.  I remember the rosemary chicken being absolutely fantastic.  The wine -- sublime.  The rolls -- also.

However, I did feel that because my companion was quite well-to-do and probably a frequent visitor there, they treated us very well.  I could sense this slight atmosphere of contempt.  On my own, I would probably not go there.  but the food IS good.

Good food done great!  Fresh bread, 4-Course tasting menu was an excellent choice.  Halibut was cooked to perfection.  Had some mustard spaetzel on another dish that was interestingly crunchy.  Desserts were tastey, wine was perfectly matched and the service was attentive but not overboard.

Parking on the street nearby is surprisingly not that difficult if you avoid hours when everyone is at work in the financial district.  The space is very open and clean, and the service is polite without being condesceding.

The crab salad had a good amount of crab in it.  Dishes are classic but with an innovative twist; however, they're not spectacular.  The torte dessert was a nice close to the meal.

I think the feel during lunch is very executive-power-lunch-ish, and the pace and ambiance at dinner would be much more enjoyable.

I just came to this restaurant for the restaurant week in Boston for lunch yesterday and I was amazed by the foods.  The price is pretty high, but we just have to pay $20.09 for three course menu per person and you just can't beat that for the type of this place and the food.  I had the pate, the seared salmon and the chocolate cream pie.  They are all so delicious and I finished them all, even though I am very seldom a big eater.  The place is nice and clean and spacious.  I would show this place to my friends.

I tried out Radius for their Restaurant Week dinner the other night.  I must say I enjoyed myself thoroughly.  I didn't want a boring chicken entree, so I tried out their Poached Egg.  I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised.  The portion wasn't very large, but it was extremely flavorful.

Service was spot-on and ambiance was chic and sophisticated.  I highly recommend Radius for a power lunch or stylish dinner!

I had lunch here for Restaurant Week. I must say, I was quite impressed by the staff (service was excellent and always very professional) and the ambiance. Very simple and chic, with a Japanese theme. Even the bathrooms were impressive, clean and large. Okay, on to the real deal, the food!

For the appetizer, I had a delicious cauliflower soup. Sprinkled in the soup were bits of broccoli and, I think, some bits of croutons. Amazing! Oh, and one thing that I'm always keen on is the bread. It was really good. The bread was warm, crispy, and the butter was soft. All very important to a good-tasting bread. The entree, however, was a bit disappointing (thus the four stars). I got the pork, and it was a little dry. If I had gotten the salmon (which my friends ordered), I would've been very happy. But I didn't, so the dryness and a little lack of taste bothered me. The dessert was decent, but nothing spectacular. It sure was nice to look at though.

So overall, I was impressed, but the entree somewhat disappointed. Other than that, good experience.

Outstanding experience at Radius.  It starts with the generous and efficient service, continues with the sommelier's excellent knowledge, passion and ability to describe what he's pouring (and share his own opinions).  Last night, thanks to him, I discovered a new favorite wine - the McManis Viognier.

The atmosphere is gorgeous.  Beautiful, elegant, contemporary, warm, masculine, soothing - lots of contradictory energies worked well together.  And the plate presentation was the best I've seen in this city.  Absolutely beautiful presentation.

We each ordered a starter, entree and dessert and three of us were dining and we each shared.  The yellowtail was perfection.  The gnocci with bacon was salty deliciousness.  The tamarind duck was very good.

My ribeye was perfection.  The salmon was served deliberately undercooked and my friend loved it that way.  I loved the seasoning but it was too undercooked for me.  The snapper was OK.

The Boston creme donuts dessert was brilliant.  The goat cheese cheesecake was outstanding, and the Pilon de Chocolat was impressive.

I highly recommend Radius if you want to have one of the best meals in the city to celebrate a special occasion.

Love, Love, Love the bar at Radius so much.  I can't speak for the dining room, but back when times were good and I made lots of money I pretty much had my own bar stool here.  The bartenders are amazing, the drinks are fantastic, they know their regulars, and the cheeseburger...OH MY GOD the cheeseburger.  Words do not describe.  Just go.  It is expensive - like I said I was a regular here when times were good - but if you can afford it, it is well worth it.

Also - if you want a nice night out on a budget, the bar scene is actually a good deal.  It was an expensive after work bar, no doubt, but if you want a nice night out you can eat at the bar, have a cheeseburger (big enough for 2 to split), and have amazing drinks.

Can't wait for times to turn so I can go back to being a regular here.  Love it.

Ok, so Radius was my absolute favorite restaurant in Boston for many years. It still is in my top three for this class of restaurant. Be ready to have a fantastic experience. Try the Chef's tasting menu, paired with wine- sure the plates have tiny looking portions, but the flavour and the presentation are amazing- will you leave there hungry after 7-9 courses and as many glasses of wine...? The answer is simply no. The service is amazing- the entire staff- not just the waitstaff that have taken my orders, but from the valet to the bartenders- everyone is courteous.

There is not a dish I would not recommend unless it has truffle in it (I came here for a tasting on New Years 2008 and had the special tasting- every course had truffle in it, and for my party of three that ruined the experience- it was all we could taste during and after the meal). This was the only time out of about 8 that I have been unhappy with Radius.  I still adore the place. Another fun thing about Radius and the tasting menu it is when you get the chef's tasting- the waitperson will ask if there is anything you don't like or are allergic to- and the chef will not use it next time truffle essence will make the list for me.
The drinks are great- not skimpy, and the wine list is extensive. This is a great place to bring a group, but also if you want to celebrate an anniversary or some other special occasion.

I just love Radius.  The food is amazing, the wait staff is awesome, they watch you from afar and aren't in your face every 5 seconds.  The chef sent a small appetixer to our table at no charge.  We all had different items, scallpos, ribeye and artic char, and all dishes were absolutely perfect.  They also have innovative martinis if you're into martinis.  Cool decor inside.  If you need a cab they will make the call and let you know when it arrives.  It is on the pricier side, but in my opinion well worth it.

Radius is an after-work-only spot for me, as it is perfectly situated ten steps from my office and ten steps away from the train I need to take home.  My favorite colleague loves the place and tries to find time to go there after work when she can, so it's hard for me to resist.

The thing about Radius is that it's kind of like World 7 on the original Super Mario Bros.   Do you remember World 7?  You don't?  What do you mean you never went to World 7?

World 7 was actually one of the coolest Worlds in the game, as well as the hardest to get through from start to finish.   It had lots of hidden gems, creatures that only liked to hang out in that World, and it was the most colorful World, too.  And no one ever went to it because saving the Princess did not require a visit to World 7.

I've been around to various Boston staples, saved all the Princesses I've needed to, and when it comes down to it, would gladly steal the Princess for an evening and bring her on down to Radius and see who hits on her first: Mario or Luigi.

The Princess may be living in 8-4, but the prize is indeed in another castle.

I have been going here for years.  Our very first visit was with Allison Arnett of the Globe!  We were undercover trying out the new restaurant.

I think that some of the meals are out of this world and some are only okay.  I think the service is really good.  We had rock shrimp with our drinks which were crunchy and spicy..delicious
Appetizers: tofu was boring, soft shell crabs sensational and ahi tuna was very good.
Dinner: the lamb was delicious as was the duck.  I thought the scallops were a bit undercooked, but my husband liked them.  One of my daughters had the parsnip soup which was perfect.
We ended the dinner with creme brulee which was yummy.

The negative is that the restaurant has not changed in looks or feel since it opened.  The food is wonderful, but very expensive.  Our daughters 25 and 21 felt like the restaurant was too old for them to go to,  other than with their parents.  Even the bar scene is on the old side.   On a Friday night, the place was very uncrowded which is a shame  since the food is really good.  I think the restaurant needs to update the inside and make it more appealing to a larger audience.

I went to this place for dinner ones a long time ago. I remember it was very good and expensive, but can not recall the little details on it now. This post is for their burgers that they serve in the lounge.

This burger is easily the BEST BURGER I've ever had! The patty actually smells like sirloin stake. I think they also marinate the meat which together with the crispy onions, and some savory/spicy sauce they put on it make this burger mouth watering. In fact i'm salivating just thinking about it.

Yes this peace of culinary masterpiece is $20 a pop, but in my opinion it's worth every penny.

bon appetite. :)

Overall, we found Radius pricey but delicious.  Some dishes standout more than others but at this price range I expect the kitchen to execute perfectly every time, which was not the case during our service.
We were the least well-dressed patrons during dinner service, and were seated in the back part of the dining room away from the middle, where the young and chic were seated.  Contrary to other reviews, our dress did not dictate the quality of the food or service.  The atmosphere has modern accents and red lighting, contrasting with the ornate ceiling.  Although the dining area appeared very formal, we found it comfortable and conducive to enjoying the meal.
Our waiter was attentive as were the other servers.  We made our own four course meal, mixing the appetizers and asked for accompanying wine recommendations.  In general the wine pairings were good, but there was no clear progression and a couple wines were not ideal.
The complimentary amuse-bouche was raw tuna and greens.  We found it flavorful and complex.
The foie gras was served as a terrine, with a split fig, sweet fig compote, savory fig sauce and a ridiculously small piece of brioche.  Addition toast was made immediately available which helped in savoring the otherwise perfectly executed dish.  The fig accompaniment matched nicely.  The paired wine was a sweet powerful white wine which paired nicely with the fig flavors but lingered on the pallet.
The cold lobster was much more subtle, but very flavorful with the lobster tender and the heart of palm base providing an acidic balance.  The accompanying white wine was very dry and did not bring out the flavors in the dish; no clash but not a good match.
The gnocchi with braised rabbit was salty, but the gnocchi was nicely prepared and the rabbit was flavorful.  The almonds and dandelion greens were drowned out but the other flavors and weren't really necessary.  The accompanying dry red wine was a good match.
The poached duck breast did not carry the flavor of the poaching oil, and was unexpectedly served chilled, so the flavors were subtle.  The cashews and other plate dressings didn't add to the dish.  The red wine served didn't enhance the flavor of the dish.
The halibut special on the fixed price menu was served as an entree at the request of my dining partner.  This was my least favorite.  The fish smelled of amine and I wished there had been more citrus to cut the odor.  The halibut had been competently pan fried, but I was left wondering how fresh it was.
Overall, a very pleasurable and satisfying dining experience.  Next time, we'll try the bar and the infamous hamburger.

Great bar selection, ambiance, and amazing service. If you're looking for a great restaurant or a bar downtown -- you should go to Radius.

I've eaten at the bar a few times, and had a tasting here once.

Tempura vegetables. Sashimi salad. This is the most un-bar bar food I've had.

And the burger. The ingredients aren't very far out - ground sirloin, horseradish sauce and crispy onions on a brioche bun - but put together, they're unbelievable.

The four-course tasting menu I had recently was excellent, and the wine pairings were superb: Tartare of Ahi "Nicoise" with 2006 Neuchatel Chasselas; Pan-seared Monkfish with 2005 Georges Faiveley Bourgogne Blanc; Scottish Salmon with 2005 Domaine Serene Yamhill Cuvee Pinot Noir; Slow-roasted Ribeye with 2003 Collosorbo Rosso di Montalcino. They served us a 2006 Marenco Braccheto d'Acqui for desert.

Don't think my memory is all that impressive. The only reason I can recall that is because they gave us a copy of the menu with the bill.

That bill? Expensive, but totally worth it.

Service, from the valet to the hostess to the bar to the waiter and manager, is, as expected, top notch.

My one complaint: They're beer selection is left wanting. But Radius isn't so much a let's go have a beer-type place, now, is it?

This place has been around for a while and I have had mixed feelings about this place lately. 6 years back this was one of the top in Boston.  I usually get the prefix menu and normally have a good meal. The last time I stopped in the prefix menu had a few sub par items (one course was sushi.. WTF.. don't pay 100 bucks per person for sushi... I want some cooked food that I cant get in a bento box down the road)

I do like this place but I get the feeling they are slipping a bit lately..

The service was outstanding, and the ambiance is great--not too loud, very tastefully decorated.

I was there for a business dinner and sat at a round table in the middle of the dining room, which was quite perfect for the occasion.  I did notice however, that the 2-person booths along the  circumference (let's stick with the geometry motif) of the circle seemed a little close together.  I'm not sure that I would want to sit there for a romantic evening.

The meal was nothing short of superb, and the occasional something extra in between courses from the chef were light and pleasant.  I'm not sure that my waiter was a sommelier, but he was knowledgeable enough to determine good pairings based on my tastes and what I ordered.

I still think this place is one of the best restaurants in boston, but when I had a tasting here recently it wasn't quite radius quality.

don't get me wrong, the food was still orgasmic, but not on par with the previous one I had.

that being said the staff is still unbelievable. as is the food.

this is my new favorite restaurant.

i just got back from lunch there. i had a great great dining experience.

the decor was absolutely gorgeous. i walked in. and i talked to the host. she sat us, but to get to the dining area, she had to walk us through this little door. i loved it. it made me feel like i was being let into an exclusive club. it was great. the restaurant itself is circular, hence the radius. it was a very romanesque decor. there was red accents in the corners that just lit up the room. it was gorgeous. the place settings were great. i just loved it.

when we sat down, we were handed the menu by a dashing, british waiter. he was very nice. somewhat on the older side, but so were all the waiters. they had people just for water, just for bread, just for taking orders, and just for serving food. once we were given the menu, we were immediately served our water. we looked at our menus and eventually, the waiter came back to take our order. immediately after, the bread person came by to give us each one piece of bread. just as i finished my first piece, the person came back to give me another without even asking. then again. then again. and so on. it was amazing. the same thing with the water. i never reached the bottom of my glass.

now the food. i ordered the steak tartar to start. it was beautifully presented. i was so excited to eat it. and when i bit into it, i knew the presentation had matched the flavor. the combination of the steak with the seasoned mayonnaise like sauce was delicious. i've rarely have tartar. but now i think i'll order it whenever i see it. my friend ordered the gazpacho. that was very very pretty. it came out with just the vegetables. and i looked at it, and i was like "what the f. wheres the soup." but the woman came back to serve the soup table side. the soup was delicious. it was tangy. as for my entree, ordered the radius burger. i had previously read about the burger and people said it was amazing. and i really was. one of the best burgers i've ever eaten. the portion of the meat was ginormous. the horseradish sauce really gave it a zing and the crispy onions gave it a crush. every texture you could want. the fries were actually a disappointment. i thought the fries were going to be delicious. but they were only okay. i actually prefer macdonald fries :). but anyways. my friend ordered the salmon. that was perfectly cooked. the salmon also had a very mild sweet flavor that really went well with it. it was great. i also tried the homemade raspberry strawberry lemonade. it was very good. i thought it was going to be very citrusy, but it was actually quite mild. it was a little sweet, but not disgustingly sweet. as for the dessert, my friend ordered the chocolate cream pie a la radius. it was so good. the graham cracker ice cream was delicious. the chantilly cream was interesting. it was like glorified whipped cream. and the chocolate mousse was to die for.

god this was such a great experience. delicious.
