It recently got Radissonized which was a useful effort, but it takes a while to erase the funk of ages. There is a relatively decent diner that is trying to go upscale and they do offer some efficiency units, and prices are reasonable for this part of the peninsula. I think a couple of the newer hotels near Redwood Shores are better choices for the same dollars. I'd recommend Towneplace Suites in Redwood City/Redwood Shores or Fairfield Inn in San Carlos for budget travelers, which are just a mile or so apart, or Hotel Sofitel in Redwood City/Redwood Shores for those who can afford to splurge.

As of February 2006, the Radisson is now closed for construction.
