I made the latest reservation I could possibly make, I needed a room for Friday and Saturday night, very last minute. I checked travelzoo for rates and got $94/night which was AWESOME. I made the reservation at 10:30pm, checked in at 11:00pm. It was so easy and the receptionist was very nice. I didn't do any yelping or googling b/c I didn't have time but I was SO pleasantly surprised. This hotel is BEYOND awesome. Here's my list for why:
The room was VERY spacious (it could easily sleep 6 ppl, there were two double beds, two flat screen TVs, coffee maker, frig/freezer, separate sink by the bar area, one pull out double bed/couch)
had updated bathroom and updated decor (YAY for granite countertops and those showers that have curved rods for more space)
LOVE the clean pool, hot tub
the breakfast was AMAZING (hot eggs, hash browns, sausages, fresh fruit, pastries, etc.)
there were computers you could use (39 cents/minute)
FREE parking
FREE shuttle to/from disneyland (only 15 min ride).
What more could you ask for? I am SO coming back here again!!!!! Thank you Radisson Suites!!!!!
I stayed here for 3 nights for work. This isn't a place to be productive (getting work done) because the walls are very thin and the all you hear are children yelling and screaming. On the first night, I heard someone in the room above me snore.
I'm giving it 1 star because although it had 2 flat screen TVs, it didn't even have a digital signal so it was actually worse than watching a box TV.
Everything about this place seems old; if you go to the Radisson website, the pictures make the hotel as if it were brand spanking new with a Spanish villa touch. Complete, cold-hearted lies.
This hotel was AWESOME!
We went to Knott's Scary Farm & Disneyland and they were about a block away from KBF. They are right next door to Medieval Times. The FREE shuttle to Disneyland, complimentary breakfast, microwave & fridge, FREE parking and free internet service in the lobby all added up to $$ saved. I think that with the parking & breakfast alone we saved about $140 for four of us. The room was clean & modern. The pool area was small but cozy....and the staff was VERY friendly.
I'd definitely go back.
We went to Anaheim for a 1 day basketball tournament and stayed at the Radisson, it was GREAT! I loved the room, the buffet was WONDERFUL ( the fresh fruit was soooo good!) all around a fabulous trip!
If anyone is familiar as Anaheim as I am, you'll know this use to be an Embassy Suites, and it has all the great amenities that ES had.
Free breakfast---not continental, I am talking pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, the whole sh-bang! Free internet-which I am ALWAYS a fan of, and free parking.
Very close to the park, and with my annual pass and free parking, it was great! Also, their prices were so reasonable, and even though I didn't show up till 2 days after my initial check in, they didn't charge me, yay!
What a great hotel!
... We stayed here last Friday and it was surprisingly nice. Maybe because the last few hotels I stayed in were so SO cheap, this one really took me by surprise.
Our room didn't have the stale "hotel" feel. The furniture was nice, there was a flat screen TV, a couch, a table, microwave, nice bathroom... my favorite thing were the French doors facing the courtyard.
... THE BED.. was very comfy. No harsh, smelly, stiff hotel blanket on top. It was a nice fluffy, COMFORTABLE comforter.
... And the breakfast buffet was great! ... eggs, hash browns, pancakes, cereal, pastries, etc..
Also, we just parked at the hotel and walked to Knott's, it was only a block or two away. It was nice that we didn't have to deal with parking at Knotts.
Great hotel, I would go back.
Well i got married here but also stayed 2 nights in the room, LOVED it for my wedding Staff was wonderful, everything was excellent especially the food at Capistrano's restraint but on to my room, i loved the 2 flat screen tv's but didn't like how both had different channels my son couldn't watch the Disney channel in the living room. Our air conditioning was great but didn't blow cold air after we went to bed and i woke up very uncomfortable in the middle of the night and realized it was because it was so warm, the next day when it got hot it was 80.5 degrees in our room and only about 70 with a cold breeze outside but we couldn't keep our door open because of our son. My sister also got a room that the air conditioning didn't work and they said they fixed it but it stopped working about 2 hours later, when it is 95+ degrees in the afternoon it is very important to have air conditioning. But the staff is great and i love all the features for the price i would stay again! Oh yeah GREAT for kids not so good for toddlers my son had a field day with their blinds on the front door.
