THE GOOD:
We didn't pay for it.

THE BAD:
Advertised Sleep Number Mattresses (on the website, in the lobby and in the room). Well. Um. Let's just say they should have been called Metal Coil Up Your Ass Mattresses. Not only were they NOT Sleep Number mattresses, they were perhaps the worst hotel bed I have ever slumbered.

Trash from previous guests left in our restroom wastebasket.

No A/C in the hallways or elevators. Yeah. Not a problem. Really. The heat index was only 112 degrees. UGH!

Savannah Bar downstairs closes between 10pm and 11pm, or whenever the bartender feels like closing up shop.

Horrible attempt at distressed Shabby Chic look in the room. Did I say horrible? Really, really horrible. I was hoping more for the Blanche Devaro bedroom look, you know, tropical perhaps.

Unfriendly staff in the gift shop. C'mon. It's a gift shop. Ever hear of the gift of kindness fool?!?!

Strange mineral like smell in the restroom and the hard water was damaging to my delicate alabaster skin.
THE UGLY:
Ready for this my yelpitas?
Twice we found two long black hairs on our white linens. I could spot them from across the room for crying out loud.

And....drum roll please..
ROTTING FRUIT AND FAST FOOD WRAPPERS UNDER OUR BED!
YEP!

Thankfully, we spent a minimal amount of time here, cuz we was busy chillaxin' with Mickey and the gang.

This place was A-Ok in my book, I paid like $70 a night to be a stones throw away from the parks and they had a pool that was open 24/7. But aside from the loud band kids practicing trumpet at 6AM (Which isn't the hotels fault) the place was tip top. It was here or spending an extra $50 a night to be treated like an idiot from the Parkway Radisson.

Another plus, $5 a day for buffet on the weekends and a tasty breakfast selection for the weekdays.

Here are the plus (+) and minus (-) that I saw just to sum it up:

Pluses (+):
Breakfasts (including an omelet bar, which yes the other radisson has)
Free Wireless (like the other)
Great service (definitely lacking at the parkway Radisson)
24/7 Pool
Shuttles to the Parks
Arcade
Limo Service
Ping Pong (yes that is a plus)
Bar that serves Yeungling (I love that stuff)

Minuses (-)
Beds (though sleep # beds, mine wasn't working, but it was perfect for me anyhow)
A/C (old school big and loud, but when you live in the Valley of LA, any A/C is good A/C)

That's it. I seriously spent a total of 30 hours in the hotel over 5 days (120 hours) so I think it's ok that the A/C was loud, nothing a sock couldn't help.

But if you want to spend the extra cash for looks, then go to the Parkway, but if you want to save some cash and not be at the busy hotel, relax at this Radisson.

Enjoy.

What was I thinking?  I wanted to cry the moment we walked into the hotel.  The lobby was dark, dingy and dirty looking; in serious need of adequeate lighting and a good scrubbing.  As soon as we opened the door to our room, both my boyfriend and I noticed an odor wafting out into the hall.  The room smelled like toilet and you couldn't be quite sure when the bedspreads had been cleaned last.  A sign at the front desk had indicated sleepnumber beds, but we sure couldn't tell.  You could definitely feel the springs on the mattress.  We spent the next 30 min booking another hotel and were willing to pay anything just so we wouldn't have to sleep there even one night.

On the upside, the front desk was very courteous and let us check out right away with a full deposit.  http://Hotels.com where we had booked 5 nights at the Radisson gave us a full refund after we faxed them a statement showing that we had checked in and out the same day.  On the down side, the front desk also said he was going to call us a cab, but our 'cab driver' ended up being his buddy; I realized this after we got into the 'cab' and saw that it wasn't metered.  He ended up charging us about double what the ride would have cost in a regular cab.

Don't make the same mistake I made for my vacation.  Book elsewhere.

Although I did reserve the room through http://priceline.com, I feel like the condition of the rooms, along w/ the customer service at the hotel was absolutely unacceptable.

ISSUES:
- Front desk was very cold and not willing to help when I asked to change rooms
- Maid service did not clean the room and bathroom well, garbage was left un-emptied
- Numerous problems with the room access card and even had to wait for over an hour for maintenance to come fix it
- Water temperature in shower was either barely luke warm or scalding hot
- sleep number beds were advertised as available in all rooms when they were not, I had to wait for the last 2 days to change to a room that had one.
- beds were horrible, springs were poking my back
- had a package waiting for me at the front desk for 4 days and no one ever called or left a message to my room saying that it had arrived.
- room service food was disgusting and cold

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had and would not recommend this hotel to anyone, no matter what the price was.
