Nice Radisson.  Sleep number beds, 42' lcd tv, HD programming, good high speed internet, room alarm clock has a slot for your i pod.  Room was in very nice condition, as was the bathroom.  Great location downtown, good hotel restaurant.   If you are not there for a convention, be sure to check online for specials - I received a $25 gas card and the room rate was only $4 more than the lowest option.  Good value for them money.

Clean, quiet, good restaurant, plenty of parking.  I didn't use the pool, but it looked inviting.  Good view of downtown from my room.  Particularly nice at Christmas because of the light snow in the park behind the building.

The location could not be better. One side of the hotel opens up to a park which leads to the Mississippi river, the other to all the restaurants and bars your little heart could desire in downtown La Crosse.  The convince also extends to the conference center located right next door which hosts everything from conferences on teaching to dart tournaments, that is what was going on when I was staying. At way less than $100 a night, it is worth it in location alone.

The convinces extend to inside the hotel as well. Amenities include a gym, pool, full service resteraunt and bar, and snack shop. One of my favorite things was the room service breakfast. For about the same price as the restaurant, you could pre-order your breakfast and have it delivered to your room at a specific time. This was great for those of us dealing with a 3 hour time change.

As always, I must comment one of the most important things in my stay - water pressure. I give this place an A. Did not take long to get the shampoo out of my long thick hair. YEA!!! Seriously, bad water pressure can ruin a 5 star hotel for me.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone, I'd even tell my parents to stay here (yes, I do like my parents).

I stayed at the Radisson recently while I was in La Crosse for a wedding.  The hotel is in easy walking distance of La Crosse's downtown.  It's also situated on the Mississippi River which makes for great views and great walking/jogging.

What was even more impressive was how friendly and helpful the staff was.  I had to change my complicated reservation three times, and they weren't snarky once.

I had my wedding reception here in fall 2008. The wedding sales manager Tom Bartig was wonderful. That guy always has a pleasant attitude and is totally unfazed.

We used the 150-capacity room for our reception. The ceilings were low, but that's all right. The ballroom (300-400 capacity) has high ceilings and chandeliers.

I remember sitting at the head table. We had already cut the cake, done the toasts. It was about time for dinner. I looked over at a waiter and nodded my head. The entire waitstaff started moving like bees. A waiter placed my prime rib before me. It was cooked perfectly.

As we drove across the Mississippi River, there was a large sign that welcomed us to the other "West Coast". The Radisson is definitely on that west coast. The hotel had all the regular amenities, but the TV was irritating. It kept interrupting the TV to "update" the newest movies that I could watch and pay for. They had a microwave and a fridge though.  I've been in hotels with more character, but since I was there for work, it was fine. The view of the river was nice.

Was a good value for the money.  There were three of us, and they did mix up the reservation and give us a room with one king bed.  The staff was very responsive on the busy summer weekend and arranged for a complimentary roll-away bed since the hotel was booked solid.  It was a very tight fit in a the cramped room.  Since they just finished a remodel, I would have thought they'd "go all the way" and replace the dated box tv's with flat panels, which would have given more space in the room.  There were also beer bottle caps next to the toilet in the bathroom when we got there, which made me question how well they cleaned.  The location is beautiful, right on the river.
