As most, we just dropped in on our way to Vegas. Menu is very diverse. We decided on late breakfast and tried their omletts. Not disappointing. Good food, fair prices. Looks pretty 1980's but is clean.

Good place to visit. Beats Denny's and other chains.

    Awful.
Just pre-frozen institution food ya find at any chain restaurant.
No inspiration nor anything unique here.

Get the same and sometimes better at Dennys.

Clean, neat property and dining room, but it all ends there.
They always close at 9pm sharp, everyday.

The "sports bar" is a joke. Just another I15 tourist trap.

Better off eating and drink cocktails across the street at Chilis.

If you're looking for a place without any customer competition and lots of available tables to choose from, this is your spot. But, be sure to get there before 9pm. They need 10 hours of sleep between days so they close early.
I had the ribeye steak and it was surprisingly very good. The cooks were unable to follow preparation instructions, though. We asked for minced ham and eggs. We were served a slab of ham steak instead. The waiter was notified and did not offer to correct the order. She did however take $5 off the bill.

Found this place while on the way to Vegas and needed to refuel the body.
From the looks of it, you think typical american restaurant food and I wasn't expecting much.
I was wrong. I order the american burger and it was great. The fries were also something to speak about. I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant.
I definitely recomment to anyone in the area!

A cruise across the desert floor...
Early arrival...we're first in the door...
Hungry and with overwhelming hunger pains..
We entered Quigley's, that's a very interesting name.

We could still feel the cold air from outside..
As we sat down at a table near the window inside..
Ordered a juicy steak, eggs and hash browns ..
And then came our food steaming hot as they placed it down.

Steak was cooked perfect, and tasted good with each cut..
A strong hot coffee was brought to our table to wake us up...
Thanks for the great service that made my day...
Time to leave and hit the highway..

On my way from San Diego to Montana, my father and I stopped here.  This smaller restaurant was right next to a Denny's, and I convinced my father to take a chance and support the smaller restaurant.

The service was good.  The food was amazing, but served in smaller portions than expected.

Vegan options with a garden-burger patty.  Lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, and avocado.

I support this place and will visit again on the way back home.

You won't catch me here again.  I went with a group of 6 on a Friday night.  It was nearly empty, so I was looking forward to a good meal with adequate service.  I received neither.  Waitress was short with us and almost condescending.  Even with only one other table (of 2) in the entire section, it took far too long to have our orders taken.  Once the food arrived, I was disappointed yet again.  Spaghetti was awful, and had almost a cup of water sitting in the bottom of the bowl.  I thought that it was possibly an isolated incident, but we saw a table behind us order the same thing and were just as disgusted.  They even sent theirs back.  Since we had no reason to stay any longer than necessary, we asked for our checks, but this led to another 20 minute wait.

Long story short, don't waste your time.  On a side note, calling it a sports bar is quite a stretch.  It is nothing of the sort.

Ok, we went here because it seemed to be well rated by Yelpers, boy were we disappointed.

I will say that we showed up about 20 min before closing, they said they closed at 9 but the waitress warned us the kitchen actually closes at 8:50, odd, so we had to rush to order.

Our waitress was crotchety and rushed us though our dinner there which was annoying.

The real disappointment was the food, we could have overlooked the rest...

I ordered the "famous" pot roast, what showed up was some luke warm, dried up, over cooked pieces of meat. Mashed potatoes were stone cold.  A friend ordered the sirloin steak medium rare, it showed up well done, and the steak was cut too thin, only about 3/4" thick so it was dried out and tasteless.

Another friend got the ribs which were ok, like the ones you can get in a grocery store.

All dishes came with an abysmal veggie side with no seasoning or flavor.

Bottom line, this seems to be a restaurant where the passion is gone and quality has all been forgotten.  I recommend skipping this place and going anywhere else, like In and Out Burger next door, we we left with a $75 tab and 0 satisfaction.

I encourage the management to step up the quality and standards at Quigley's, there ate those of us out there who recognize that even a Denny's is offering better quality than this.

Boss and I looked around the restaurant and tried to determine who was on the lam, or at least planning something big. Mmm, it's that kind of diner.

We stopped in after shopping at the outlets down the street. It is reminiscent of any other diner you've experience: Denny's, Carrow's, IHOP, et al. The staff was friendly and attentive. We noticed a few regulars, based on the interactions with the wait staff.

The food was consistent with the other establishments as well. Boss went for breakfast at lunch - always pleasant - two eggs 'easy over,' hash browns and toast. I decided on the Reuben sandwich. Standard fare that - while fine - you could get anywhere else or make for yourself at home.

They had this joke book at our table, which was also available for purchase at the register, about lying fishermen or some such thing. "What is the best excuse for not bringing fish home after spending all day out on the lake?" "You landed a 200-pound fish, but after wrestling with it for hours and hours, the two of you bonded, and you decided to let it go." ZzzzzzzzZZzzzz...

There's no way I can give this place a middlin' review. It's either got to be 1 star or 5 stars.

It stands out from the mostly corporate offerings in the surrounding Really Sad and 50% Unleased Outlet Center so I had to hit it. I suspect that it is a survivor of Rte. 66 - they got a new lease deal when the larger parcel was "developed."

The reason I'm giving it 5* is that it has a sports bar and is right off of the highway. You will meet some locals, for sure, if you enter the spoerts bar.

I did not. I got a quick meal in a booth and, though I didn't notice the B rating spotted by an earlier reviewer, while eating I developed a concern that I might not be feelin' so good in a couple of hours. So far I'm ok - I'll let you know if anything develops.

But I digress! I envision a time when I'm stuck in traffic on the 15 and the Lakers are playing and I duck into Quigley's, order a drink and some fries, and say, "5 Stars!"

Good food, great service, reasonable prices.
Our waitress was super-cool. My dining companion had this dream meal in mind but couldn't find it on the menu, it was a combination of like three different specials, not only did she put it together for him but she didn't charge us extra for it, and she totally could have. Big tip for her! and we'll be back.
Overall, Quigley's is an island of relative sanity in a sea of banal chain restaurants.

B rating on the wall that we saw as we were leaving for major health violation due to the temp of the food. Hope we don't get sick later!

Diner food cheap, but not worth it. Find somewhere else if you can. (In and Out Burger across the street is worth the wait in this quickstop area!)

On my way back from a weekend in the desert, my companion and I needed to find a place with free wi-fi and Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs!  Quigley's had both!

Sadly, though, the gravy wasn't homemade, but came from a jar.  Still, the wi-fi was helpful, and the service was efficient and friendly.

Next time I'm in the desert, I'll be back!

I stop here for breakfast often on my way to Las Vegas. It's not the usual noisy chain store environment; a good place to relax in the middle of a long drive.

In the latest visit I had bacon and Egg Beaters and fresh fruit (I know --  how healthy is bacon?). There was lots of bacon, and two biscuits served with butter and honey. You could also get a fresh baked muffin. I also saw a huge breakfast burrito which also looked good.

Quigley's is a quiet little restaurant right on Lenwood and by the outlets.  I stop by here sometimes for a meal either to or back from Vegas.
What I love here is the fried chicken!  It is the best... meat is juicy and tender.... skin is crispy and sweet (i think they mix honey into the batter) and not oily!  My absolutely favorite fried chicken in Southern California!

This is a diner at the outlet center south of Barstow. There are plenty of places to eat here so I would pass on this place.

The service is friendly and very good but the food is average and the prices relatively high. I got the mustard chicken salad with salsa instead of the mustard dressing. The salsa looks like bottled and was  ok and medium hot. The salad had a variety of lettuce with some brown edges on some pieces. The chicken is ok and there could have been more for the price about $9.

There are a lot of good fast food places here, I would do In-N-Out instead.

Quigley's is very close to the Holiday Inn Express where the desk clerk recommended it as locally owned and gave us a 10% off coupon for hotel guests.

There was an "A" rating on the door from the health department.  We were happy to see the place open, airy and very clean inside.  Note this place has a bar in the back. The flat screen TV was tuned to ESPN that night.

I had the grilled chicken breast dinner, came with a choice of sides and a salad.  This version comes topped with sauteed onions and mushrooms, diner style.  The side chosen was fries, and I was delighted to see wedge cut potatoes, fried crisp on the outside, tender on the inside and not a drop of grease.  Steamed broccoli was vivid green, tender and not soggy.  The salad was a basic torn iceberg lettuce topped with a couple of slices of hard-cooked egg and my requested dressing on the side.

My friend had the flatiron steak, cooked to his order and he was very pleased with it.

We were happy with the service and liked the fact they don't hover over you, but are close if you need something like a refill on your beverage.  No surprises here or cutting edge cuisine, just the basics executed very well.

Travelers on Interstate 15 between L.A./O.C. and Las Vegas have a convenient dining option other than fast food joints or places like Denny's and IHOP.  We will dine here again.

Few specialties, but the quality and service are one of the best in Barstow.

I don't know who Quigley is, he's probably some old guy mining for gold or something, but he makes pretty good grub! Unfortunetly, he only sticks to the basics like sandwhiches, burgers, and meatloaf: kindda that down-home kindda thing old-timer Barstowians can't get enough of. It's also a bit quiet and low key, so its not the best place for Barstow's (missing) younger crowd (Of course, they go out of town anyway lol). Regardless of that, the service is excellent (a rare thing to see in Barstow) and the food is good. They do have a few specialties: Their Monte Cristo is actually a sandwhich with ham and melted cheese fried like it's French Toast! I know.. It's better than it sounds. :)  In conclusion, if you want a down-home meal or a sandwhich on the way down to Vegas this is the best Barstow has to offer!

The service was pretty good.  The food was good, but very very greasy.  The prices were also very reasonable.  However, it simply does not stand out in any way.  It's a great diner to stop by if you're passing through, but I'm sure there are plenty just like this one, so it doesn't get more then a 3.

My family was served moldy salads, when I complained the waitress was rude and told me she had the lady who eats salads look at them and the salads were fine. There was black mold on our salads!! Don't get sucked in by the catchy jingle on the radio like I did, this place is awful!
