I never have a bad time at Quigley's.  It seems to be a good mix of 20-something college students and 30 to 40-something Napervillians, which works out to a decent enough crowd.  I like that it's more laid back than most of the bars in downtown Naperville. The drinks are good and the live music is nice.  I've never gotten any food but the menu seems small and on the expensive side, so I probably won't.

Quigley's is a comfortable place to meet some friends and one of my favorite nightspots in Naperville.

There are establishments that I think of as "teflon restaurants," by which I mean they can be as terrible as they care to be, but none of their mistakes stick, and people keep going back year after year after year, despite the fact that the place sucks.  Such places get grandfathered in and remain inexplicably untouched by bad reviews.  Everybody nods and smiles and knows fully well that a place is terrible, but because of a nice memory, or convenient locale, or the lax expectations of the locals, a place gets a passing grade that it really doesn't deserve.
    Quigley's is one such place.
I live three blocks from Quigley's, and I've been duped, suckered, cajoled, and charmed into going to this place more times than I care to count. After eating there many times, I can say with great certainty that this place is just bad.  The service is typically provided by cute but harried young women who have about twice the number of tables they should have.  It's slow, and gods help you if you need to get a side of something or if you need to get the check sooner than your server cares to give it to you, because it can be a LONG time between server visits.
Worse, the food is horrible.  By "horrible," I don't just mean "bland, generic, and direct from a can," which is fairly standard for Naperville, but really BAD: The soup often has the consistency of a thin wheat paste that's been well salted, the burger buns are bland and rubbery, and much of the fare tastes like generic, bland, deep-fried crap. I've heard people excuse the place by saying "Oh, well it's pub food."  I'm not buying it.  I've had some really great pub food, and this isn't it.
Honestly, this place is a step down from Chili's or Olive Garden.
Maybe I'm being too harsh.  Maybe I shouldn't actually be rating it as a restaurant at all. This is where an undiscerning clientele goes to to get its drink on, not a place to eat.  Obviously, judging by the standing-room-only crowds of sorority wanna-bes and fraternity has-beens, the place does something right, but that something isn't service OR food.
After the last couple of very unsatisfying visits, I've set a hard rule with visiting friends: We can eat anywhere BUT Quigley's.  Naperville offers a number of better options in the same price range, so I have no problem crossing Quigley's off my list permanently.

Ate here Friday night before the Ghostwalk.  The place was busy and had a friendly atmosphere.  We ate in the Cottage Room, which we later learned is the supposedly haunted room.  Our server was very pleasant and efficient, with a good sense of humor.  We just had a few beers, the cobb salad and the mini angus burgers.  The salad was good - everything was fresh and tasted good.  The mini angus burgers were cooked enough and also tasted fresh.  They came with grilled onions and cheese and there are four, which makes for a good size for a "light" meal.  The prices are no different from anywhere else.
We later moved to the outdoor patio with our drinks which was just busy enough without feeling overwhelming.  Upon our return from the walk, a live band was playing and from what we heard they were good - lots of Allman Brothers.
Would eat there again, any time.

Ive been here a number of times and always have a nice time here...but you can get lost in the crowd.  The little nooks and crannys at the bar can swallow you  and unless you say somthing like HEY, OVER HERE, you wont get served.  The corned beef rolls are the BEST EVER.  I always get them when I go there.  Actually, I believe that is the only food item Ive ever had there.
Nice 'little' spot in downtown Naperville.

While spending a Saturday wandering around downtown Naperville after a trip to the Apple Store with my girlfriend I grew nostalgic for Quigleys, one of my favorite watering holes by in the day.  I told her all about how the place was a rebuilt pub from Ireland and how much fun it was.  She seemed impressed and suggested dining there; I'd never had a meal at Quigleys but I thought it was worth a shot.

Yikes, what a mistake it was.  The dining area is a poorly lit little room and the waitresses were dressed in Catholic School girl outfits.  Rather tacky and clichéd, not to mention the not so young waitresses that were waiting table had no business in those outfits.  The only thing more unappealing than the ambience was the food.  I ordered the beef and Guinness stew, while my girlfriend had the pot roast.  My dish was way overdone; it tasted like it had been reheated multiple times.  Her dish was bland and had a not so fresh taste.  The "champ" was clearly made with instant potatoes and was cold.  The side of overcooked veggies had a bunch of green peppers mixed in with it; are bell peppers Irish?

Please heed my advise and don't eat at Quigleys!  The food is not authentic Irish and is disgusting.

As many of you know, the restaurants in downtown Naperville fill up fast on the weekends. Rather than waiting 45 minutes at La Sorella, we decided to pop into Quigley's. The restaurant was beginning to get crowded but we found a table and had drinks, appetizers, and entrees.

After we had placed an order for appetizers and drinks, our waitress came by and asked if we wanted to place entree orders. We politely told her we hadn't decided on entrees yet and we would let her know when we were ready. She seemed a little annoyed by the fact that we weren't ready to place an order, but told us she would check in on us soon.

After we received our appetizers, she came back again and asked if we were ready to place an order because she wanted to "get the menus out of our way." I know servers work on commission, but come on, make it a little less obvious that you are trying to turn tables. We decided to place our order but we told her not to put it in yet because we were celebrating a birthday and were in no rush.

The food was very good, we had mostly Irish foods, Rubens and stew. I had been to Quigley's a few times before, but I thought the quality of food was excellent this time. If you live in Naperville, you have probably been to Quigley's before. For those of you visiting our town, it's a great, casual place to eat with a fun atmosphere and reasonable priced entrees.

Met a friend here today, and the patio was packed with people and dogs, but the inside was practically empty so we took a seat inside. It's a cute bar! Love the decor and furnishings.

The menu seems pretty eclectic, I had a blackened chicken wrap which was nice. The fries are delish (I recommend a side of sour cream for dunking. Also, I'm not skinny). The beer list is pretty long but nothing out of the ordinary, pretty decent selection though.

The waitress was sweet and attentive, so yay for her too!

The patio is nice in the summer, inside it's kind of dark. I have seen bands play there and it's really loud and distorted.  Not a great live music venue for rock, but very good for small acoustic artists. The service is great, but only if you sit at the bar! Otherwise you wait and wait. Food is average.

I came here on a Friday night after 9pm with a few of my coworkers.  It was very packed and had a lot of regulars.  There is live entertainment several times a week.  The decor is awesome especially the room with the fireplace and book shelves. They section off the main floor so you can have some feel of privacy. Servers comes to you in the pub too so you don't have to wait at the bar for drinks.  Though it must be duly noted that it takes a while for the servers to come back once she takes your order and probably because they were so busy.

This month is $3.50/ 20 oz Coors Lite.  I decided to try some of their wings that was a $7 medium size of 8 pieces.  The wings tasted OK and not too bad but I had to wait about what felt like 20 minutes for my order.  I would need to try more dishes to conclude.

I would try this place again once in a while to just enjoy some music and late night eats.  It's loud and not very ideal for chatting and is crowded on weekends but it's a great place to just hang back.

This was the first time I ventured into this ol Naperville establishment in quite some time. The evening was perfect for a patio night, however there was only one server assigned to the patio that was housing close to 30-40 people....bad planning. Although the one server that was outside did do a pretty darn good job at attempting to be prompt with people in need of beverages she wasn't able to give our group the service that we fealt we deserved on her own.

The place is just kind of your run of the mill pub located in DT Naperville, good location just off the main brotown circle that is washington street. We were able to enjoy our evening without drunken idiots being obnoxious (like at jimmys or black fin).

If you are looking for a place while you are in naperville & your group is larger than 10 go ahead check it out. I wouldnt make this a Friday or Saturday destination if you are not already in the vacinity.

Quigley's has been around for a long time and fits in well with the personality of downtown Naperville. The food is classy without being pretentious or overpriced. It's not a chain, and there is nothing else quite like it in the area. It would be perfect for a first date or a spot to take out of town guests! It may be the only place where high school kids and retirees coexist in peace. There's not a lot to think about here. Just go and hang out and enjoy the vibe!

I want to be somewhere that I can wear knee high socks for eight hours and be surrounded by nothing but wood.

That came out wrong in every way, so lets get back to the point.

I'm not too sure where I stand with Quigley's. I like the aspect that it's an Irish pub in little ol' Naperville but dont' know if this would be a place I'd frequent unless it was a hankering for a Black and Tan that wouldn't be shushed.

The seating is scattered and for the most part pretty private and secluded, excluding sitting at the bar. There's lots to choose from, booths, stools to tables they've got.

A pretty standard pub that has their waitresses donning the knee high socks as if you were at a futbol match and they were delivering your drinks to your seats in the VIP section...though Quigley's isn't VIP.
Pub fare that is fit for the likes of any game day with a pint in tow and creaky wood floors that puts this litle diddy on the mark for a hangout in casual form.

Casual but not really my cup of tea. I love nothing more than to slink away into a pub so long as there is good convos, plenty of seating and a vibe that is inviting. For some reason I just couldn't find that here. It didn't seem like a place that I would want to sit at after work trying to unwind after dealing with another work disaster but then again I could be way off base. It was a Tuesday night, later, and pretty packed so this has potential for a repeat performance.

With the patios beginning to open up and the sun staying out later on school nights, Quigley's may be in line for another test run. Because I really do want a Black and Tan!

Loud, loud, loud.  Really difficult to hear people in your party, unless you are lucky enough to get a seat in the "cigar room" at the back of the place.  Even then, it still is pretty loud especially if they have live music.

The food is good, but nothing spectacular.  Decent sandwiches and good fries.  Good selection of beer.  Friendly wait staff.

Honestly, I'd probably never come here, except that it is the BEST place to watch any of the Naperville parades.  The outdoor patio is nice and comfy.  And you can have a beer while you watch your kid play the tuba in the parade!  They are also dog friendly on the patio, and will bring Fido a bowl of water when they bring your drinks.

When my husband and I lived in Wheaton, back in the 90's, we went to Quigley's semi- regularly because we really enjoyed it.

The last time we went, about two months ago, we both agreed that it has lost it's cache (at least for us.) It's kind of a mix of several things....food just didn't seem as good as it once was, service was really slow (our waitress was really nice...I just don't think there were enough servers at the time), and frankly, I think the whole Irish pub theme is just pretty well played at this point. It was once more of a unique place to go..."Irish pubs" are pretty much a dime a dozen these days.

If you happen upon it, or have wanted to try Quigley's, I say go....not sure I'd recommend it as a place to go, off the top of my head though.

Oh Quigleys how I love you so!  Your happy hour makes me smile and you had me at Stella on draft!
This pub rules in the summer with a beautiful courtyard which welcomes all your lovely furry friends and it rocks in the chilly winter months with it's easy chairs and fireplaces.
The back room has a romantic spot perfect for couples with a couple of beers!
Soccer is a big hit here, a small amount of tvs, not too bothersome.

I was in desperate need of a pub for the World Cup match with the US. vs. England. I had called every Irish pub/bar in the area. Believe it or not, no one really had any specials running for the day (or no one was willing to take the time to explain them). Then I called Quigley's and not only had WC specials but the manager (I believe his name was Chris) took the time to explain everything that was occurring during the tournament.

That alone, made my decision for me. I knew where my ass would be come Saturday. Believe it or not, this was the first time I've ever been to a pub for breakfast. I was hoping to score the Irish breakfast, but at 8:30 in the morning there was only a limited menu available. Why was I there at 8:30 for a 1:30pm game? Because the place was almost filled by 9:30. Who knew people in America love soccer. I went with the corned beef hash and eggs. The hash was good but the eggs were a little runny. I could've ordered a pint at this point but c'mon I had to drive at some point.

By noon time, we were ready for lunch. A Guinness BBQ burger and a pint of ol' Guinness was in order for me. The burger was really good and it was cooked just the way I wanted it. The Guinness was poured correctly and the crowd/atmosphere was awesome. Top that off with great service from the waitress and it was a blast for Saturday morning and afternoon. I have found a great pub for my World Cup viewing. After the tournament, I know I will be coming back here again as well.

Dear Quigley's Irish Pub management (or owner that should hire new management), your staff is losing you business!  May i suggest hiring a hostess to greet your customers and seat them when they walk in?  How about a bartender that does more than just make eye contact.  A kitchen that makes Irish stew would be great as well!  We ended up going to Blackfinn, but was looking forward to trying Quigley, if it felt more welcoming.

I'm right in the middle with this place.  After a long day my boyfriend and I were hungry and thirsty! We decided to check this place out.  We liked the fact that it was out of the hustle and bussle of downtown Naperville, because we really weren't in the mood to deal with the douche bags and high school kids that come along with the area.

We walked up and decided to sit outside because it was really nice out.  We like the little beer garden in the front, it was cute.  We did peek our heads in for a moment to use the bathroom.  The inside was pretty empty, but it was a Monday night.  I'm always a fan of irish decor.. so the design of the place was pretty neat-o.  We also found the history of the building interesting.

However, the esthetics of the place were probably the best part of our experience.  The first thing that was irritating, that has been happening a lot lately, is asking what I want to drink when I sat down at an empty table with no drink list, beer list, anything.. Being an indecisive person and not knowing the place, it'd be nice to know what you got before you ask me what I'd like.

Also, I usually like the cliental at homie irish bars, but the patio at Quigley's was filled with a variety of slightly annoying and inconsiderate people.  One table was filled with what seemed to be 40-50 year olds who lived around the area who all brought their DOGS! Shocked by the fact that people had their dogs on the patio of a bar/pub, I saw they weren't the only table who brought their dogs...  there was at least 2 other tables.  I don't know if Quigley's promotes bringing your pet, but it was so strange to me.  Don't get me wrong, I LOVE PUPPIES and wanted to say hi and pet them.. but I also want to enjoy the night and have a good time without having a dog lick my feet as I walk by.

The other tables on the patio consisted of young, industry people, who were loud, swearing, and smoking on the patio (which to my knowledge is illegal??).  Either way, as a non-smoker, it was pretty inconsiderate.

Now- besides the fact that I wasn't too pleased with my surrounding peeps, our waitress was very nice and busy!  We didn't receive the best service because our waitress apparently had every single table on the patio.  As people who have worked in the industry, it didn't bother us that things took a bit longer because she was doing a really good job of balancing all the tables, also, the manager was very helpful and nice as well.. he brought out our food and offered us more drinks when our server was busy.

The food was ok.  Not the best I've had, but it wasn't horrible.  It was really what I expected from a little irish bar, it's not like I was going out to get some top of the line food.  We started with the nachos which were not my fave, but as long as they have jalapenos on them, I can make it work.  By the time our meals came, I had the pulled pork, my boyfriend had shepards pie, I was really too stuffed to even start.

Overall, the place isn't bad.. it just wasn't my absolute favorite.  I guess it's really what I expected.

Decor: Quigley's does a great job in this arena - the decor is very cool with dark mahogany and interesting irish sets. Their booths are nice for a group to go out and have some drinks - they have a big outdoor section and I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere.

Service: The food came fast, the drinks even faster. I credit these two points to our very, VERY patient waitress, who took care of our silly, drunk selves with kindness and understandings. She really made sure that no plate or glass was empty.

Food: I can't really speak to the quality of their food as I opted for a salad that night, but the girls I was with really enjoyed their plates and what I managed to snag off their meals was enjoyable.

Overall, a solid hangout for Saturday night.

I'm surprised people only think this place is simply OK. I am in love. My only real problem with it is the price. It is a bit steep, but not any crazier than most places that don't even offer half the atmosphere and have sub-standard bar food. Two people going nuts on appetizers, drinks and food set my shoe purchasing power back $80 when all was said and done.

Wednesday night was pretty hopping. They had a live band playing great southern music, a little bluegrass, some funk and a mix of 90s hits. I like choices and everything they played was great.

Our waiter, Ryan was the greatest. He was always there to take our orders and even though they didn't have any cider on tap, he was more than willing to help me out with my Snake Bite jones. A bottle of Magner's and a Guinness later, I was sipping happily.

The food is amazing. A-MAZ-ING, ya hear? Their stuffed potato skins are overflowing with bacon, onions and cheese. The Reuben rolls are out of this world. Think a Reuben sandwich without the bitter sauerkraut. They have cabbage alright, but they don't just roll it up and call it a day. No, my friend. They stuff that little sucker into an egg roll. I don't even like egg rolls that much and I was wolfing these bad boys down.

Their soups are a'ight, not Irish enough to be authentic and not crazy enough to be considered ethnic inspired. My jerk chicken soup tasted like a creamy gumbo. I barely touched it and the waiter noticed. He got me a new soup to try, which was the potato lentil. It was just slightly better. The taste was a bit too similar to garlic powder. They could improve in that area.

The stew! THE STEW! You got to get it! Go with the Shepard's Pie or Lamb Stew. Both are cooked to perfection. I am still not entirely sure what all is in the lamb stew, but I'm not one to think too much about these things. All I know is that it is delicious. It comes with chunks of celery, potato, carrots and meaty morsels of lamb. If it had been any fresher it would have been a fetus.

I really want to love this place because if you talk to any Napervillian, THIS is the place to be.  But I can only find myself being "okay" with this place - though I feel like I should give it another shot.

For starters - I love their appetizers.  Most Irish Pubs have mediocre food - your typical Burgers, Potatoes, Shepard's Pie and a bunch of other foods that have been fried to death and dubbed "Irish" by the simple fact that it is topped with Sour Cream.  Quigleys actually has a pretty good menu that has a couple of unique items that I have been fortunate enough to try including the Corned Beef Bites, Smoked Salmon Points, and Ruben Rolls (the Irish eggroll)!  If you are looking for something substantial, they have a ton of sandwiches, salads and even an amazing-sounding Irish Breakfast.

My biggest complaint about this place is the fact that the couple of times I have been here it has been so completely packed that I couldn't even find a seat.  I guess that speaks for how popular it is, but they don't take any responsibility for seating their customers, they won't take reservations and because of that - it is a total crapshoot as far as if you will have somewhere to sit when you get there.  They now have a trivia event on Tuesdays which has turned into a cult following.  People must come and steak out tables hours before trivia starts and they have huge teams of people that come to play trivia, so you can pretty much count Tuesday night out for having a nice dinner/drink here.  I will also say, that as a non-beer drinker I do appreciate that they offer several alternative drinking options.

They have live music some nights and other events from time to time, which only make Quigleys even more crowded than usual - what can I say, if you are okay with a crowd and possibly waiting awhile for a seat than its okay - but most times I would rather head to one of the other Naperville bars rather than deal with all of that.

Other reviewers have pretty much summed it up but I want to issue one caveat -- when former Napervillians (that's me!) are home for the holidays, this is the place to go to meet up with old high school friends.  That means the typical, somewhat older crowd is replaced by hoards of people in their 20s, many of whom vaguely know one another from childhood.  So, Wednesday before Thanksgiving?  Christmas Eve Eve?  It is going to be a zoo.

That said, I've had an amazing time at such a huge variety of events here, from drinks with friends to family brunch to my grandparent's 40th anniversary fete.  If I still lived in Naperville, I'd probably head here after work all the time.  Highly recommended.  I just wish they had a few more beers!

I just can't get into this place. Not physically, just metaphysically.

It could be a fun little Irish pub-y place but instead it's packed to the brim with cougars and wandering eye husbands, so so service, mediocre food, and a pretty okay beer list.

I gave up on eating here long ago, long before I became a vegetarian and they didn't have much food for me anyway. Their beer selection includes $6.50 pints of cider (what? It's cheaper in the city), Guinness, Bud and Miller products, and many more generic things. Their website lists a ton more beer but their beer list on each table only has about 8 choices so I went with 312... which I'm pretty sure she gave to someone else and I got some body's poopy Miller Lite. It was bad... very chemically enhanced and my glass had crud stuck to the side of it but since our server didn't come back for quite a while I just went with it.

I've been here a few times where they had some really great bands but, it's been a while since I went on a music night.

I think I'm going to try going back on a trivia night to see how it is and if I can get a better beer. Maybe just stick with some Fat Tire next time around.

A fairly decent place to hang out.  That decor is beautiful.  The rumor is that they spent $1million importing the woodwork and craft labor to build the inside from Ireland.  I don't know if that is true, but it a good story. They have good selection of draft beers.

The food is pretty good - for bar food.  They have a good PB&J.  The pub fries are good (sliced red potatoes, I believe).  The mini rubens are yummy.  The shepherds pie is the perfect thing to fill your belly on a chilly autumn day.  Fish and chips is good, too.

It can be a little smoky and the music can be too loud. You can always move to the back of the bar or another room if you are not comfortable.  What bar isn't that way?

I haven't been able to figure out the crowds; sometimes you get a bunch of older barflies.  Then it seems to be packed with young co-eds.  Sometimes it's crowded; other times it's empty.  I am sure there's a pattern; but I have not figured it out.  One day that it always busy is March 17.  They line up before the doors open.

Quigley's has live entertainment on Thur, Fri and Sat.  ** One of my favorites is Mighty Joe (http://www.mightyjoemu...) - who plays thoughtful and fun acoustic guitar (two of his best are: We All Became Alcoholics and Stairway to Freebird).  Sometimes they have karaoke, if you are into that sort of thing (not that there is anything wrong with that!).

The patio is very nice - fresh air and not as loud.  They have heaters to keep you warm on chilly nights.

A pint at Quigley's is a must on any Naperville pub-crawl.

LOVE LOVE LOVE it! This is my favorite place to start an evening in downtown Naperville. Here are the 3 top reasons"
    1. They have a good hard cider on draft for $5 a glass; not too shabby
    2. Some of the bartenders are legit Irish: one really cute one, too who was excellent with his service.
    3. Variety of places to sit and/or stand. They have a cozy back room for conversation. Fun, private wooden booths. Spacious beer garden.

All in all, great place. Haven't eaten there yet, and I probably won't (can't afford food if I'm drinking in NaperVegas).

A great little place on Jefferson in downtown Naperville.  We have enjoyed going here each time and can't really say anything bad about it.. I give it 4 stars because sometimes it can be a bit on the heavy smoke side (cigars are allowed in certain areas there) but what do you get going to a bar, right?

It is also pretty small.  You can't always get a table or stools to sit on if you are there later at night.

I have only eaten there once but thought it was delicious. :)

I can't believe that I haven't yelped about this place yet.  This is a great bar and I always have a good time here.  On the weekends, they usually have a good band playing.  The atmosphere is very intimate to say the least, it's small but there's always a good crowd.  They have some great beers on tap, I hope that you didn't come here for a Miller Lite or Bud Light.  To add to the authenticity of this place, it also comes with Irish accented servers!

If I come, it's usually a weekend at night for sole drinking purposes but I have made it down for lunch a couple of times.  Once, I ordered the ribs lunch and you are getting a plateful for the lunch price.  The sauce is interesting in a good way.  A bit sweet & tangy but not one that I have tried before.  Every once in a while, they advertise in the Clipper Magazine so you maybe able to find a lunch coupon for buy one, second half off, or something like that.

Full of character and a great place to take company.  The patio outside is perfect for warmer days when who doesn't want a pint outside?  Inside is quaint but can get pretty loud for conversation when there is a band playing.  They also allow dogs outside on the patio if that is a concern for you.

I once saw a dog sitting on a chair at a high top.  Sort of disturbing but after a pint or two you won't care so much.

My favorite things to order are cucumber sandwiches, or the spinach and potato salad.  I love that they don't just have greasy pub food here.  Great choice if kicking it in Naperville.

The only reason they didn't get the fifth star is because of the dogs.  Sorry dogs, I love you but not when I'm dining out.

Quigley's is a staple for the North Central College crowd and one of the more casual places to spend an evening in the midst of downtown Naperville's more upscale offerings like Hugo's Frog Bar, Catch 35, Sullivan's and such. The atmosphere is a lively one and quite intimate given the confined size of the place. I am not the social dilettante at the bar, alas, but usually someone seated inside a cozy booth chatting with my friends or husband, and I find it comfortable enough.

The food options aren't extensive but the quality is good. You won't go wrong with one of the filling options like a reuben, the shepherd's pie, or a regular old hamburger. Plenty of alcoholic options for the regular pubbers, though the cider leaves a bit to be desired. The stuff they carry I find is too dry, on the whole, and prefer to settle back with a cup of tea, a pint of Guinness (can't go wrong there!) or such.

Quigley's has average prices and the parking lot across the street is conveniently placed but fills up pretty quick.

Lovely tiny place that's always packed to the brim. Good staff, loud crowd, live bands.

Neat little nibbles menu and fully stocked bar.

One of the better bars in downtown Naperville. Its not filled with your typical Naperville douchebag. It  has an older mature crowd. Gotta love the Irish beer selection, which of course has to include Guiness!

The place is really big with outside seating and even a cigar room. Not cheap, not expensive. Its cool that they have live music playing on certain nights but I think that was the main downside. It was really loud and it was hard to talk. I wish it was a bit quieter so it was more chill.

Clean, friendly, and right across from a big parking lot!

They have a great drink selection and lots of friendly staff who are always willing to suggest anything you might be into.

It was too hot on the day I went, but their outdoor patio looks like a great place to spend some serious hours!

No comment on the food.  Maybe on my next visit.  :)

Pretty good beer selection. The outdoor patio is nice when I want to actually hear what someone is saying. Over all fun atmosphere.

Due to the underage drinking epidemic in this country Quigley's feels it needs to take extra precautions when serving alcohol to anyone under 40. Really Quigley's? You're an Irish pub....IRISH. The state of Illinois allows up to THREE MONTHS for someone to update their license after turning 21. Quigley's feels this policy to be ridiculous and sets their own TWO WEEK timetable. That's fine Quigley's I tell everyone to enjoy Naperville's other fine establishments for the next 2.5 months.

This is a great place to go to on a Saturday in the middle of the day.  We especially enjoy going to Quigley's during warmer weather as we can sit on the patio and also bring our 2 lovely dogs with us.  The staff will usually bring a bowl of water for our dogs.

The food is decent and the beers are great.  I don't really enjoy this place as much when it's completely crowded.  I like a more quiet atmosphere so that I can actually carry on a conversation with friends.

    Ah, Quigley's.

Always a pleasure at Quigley's. I have been here a few times and every time I come there is always a live band. The environment is very welcoming and it seems like I can always find a seat at the bar or at a table with a few of my chums. If you are in Naperville, check out the Quigley's.

The kind of pub we have been searching for...it really reminded us of Ireland.  The beer, music, food, and people-watching was great.

I love that this place is hidden away from all the mainstream traffic of downtown Naperville, only locals will know about it.  I can't wait to try the outdoor seating...I'm all about it...guess I will have to wait until next summer.

P.S.  Did not like the dessert, but what do you expect...it's a pub.  Anyways, it was a drunk move :)
