**********This review is solely based on yogurt**************
You truly get what you pay for. I mean, it's not super cheap, but it's cheaper...?
Don't get me wrong, the gal behind the counter was the nicest person EVAAARRRRRRRR...however, the product was Quickly forget-able.
Weird flavor that I can't really pinpoint. It tasted like yogurt, but different.
Not sure I would go back for this...I would be better off getting the stuff at Whole Foods...
Really nothing more...

WHOW they serve froyo here!? Ewww... don't advertise it as tart if its going to taste like it was loaded with splenda or something... It definitely had a funky aftertaste... And it was more sour than tart. It was strangely sweeter than I liked... and not tart enough. Another Yelper compared it with spoiled milk... and I totally agree. Not tart... soured... tart yogurt is milk being spoiled in a controlled manner. This was like "oops honey i left the milk in the minivan on a summer day" kinda sour. Stay away....

This place is definitely out of place in this strip mall that time somewhat forgot. Among the billions of flavor combinations of various beverages, it's the food that amuses me the most. Always have to make fun of the squeamish co-worker:
Me: "Hey it's your favorite: Fried Dace Ball?"
Co-worker: "WTF? Fried Baseball?"
Me: "No Dace ball, sort sort fish I gather...ooh and "coming soon": fried intestine and tofu skewer! You know you're all about that when they get it! Oh you got the extra small pearl..you know it looks like someone dumped caviar in your tea!"
Hahaha, I'm an asshole

I just discovered that Quickly now serves tart froyo! And it's not really that tart, but I liked it because it was creamy. I got a small with strawberry, mango and mochi. All were pretty good, but the mango was not nicely cut so it was a little messy. I liked it, regardless, and I love how I can now get froyo just minutes from where I live!

After a sushi lunch we noticed Quickly and decided to try out their fro-yo for a sweet treat. The yogurt was super tart.. but not in a good way. It was almost to the point where it just tasted rotten..like spoiled milk! They offer a good array of topping choices.. however a BUNCH were unavailable.. so they covered those images with a little post-it size paper. Classy, yea? Anyway.. for the toppings I chose strawberry, kiwi and mochi. They basically took 1 strawberry and cut into 4pieces... a few bits of kiwi which were tasteless since they were cut soo small and some super chewy, cold mochi. Service was pretty fast, but it was def service without a smile.

all pearl places seem the same to me, typical drinks, snacks, plasmas playing music videos, asian people and a bubbly ambiance.(sorry if someone takes my review the wrong way, don't mean to be stereotypical)
1 star for being super close to my house.
1/2 star for catering to my pearl tea and popcorn chicken and rice cravings.
1/2 star for being clean(ive seen other places that look straight up nasty)
1/2 star for serving ok froyo
1/2 star for having so much variety in drinks/snacks
Menu Item: Jasmine Green Tea with Mango Stars
- great and refreshing
- hint of floral flavor with the Jasmine added to the green tea with the artificial fruityness of the mango stars == awesomeness in a cup.
- the mango stars are like jelly (kind of like the overly sweet lychee jelly cups you eat as a lil kid)
- love this drink...super great for HOT summer days. It's my favorite thing on the menu of 50 thousand things.
- item rating: EDIT 3.75 instead of 5
- FAVORITE ALWAYS GET
- Went back there and twice it was kinda not so good...so for consistancy...lowered the scale.
Menu Item: Sweet Potato Fries
- crispy with a warm soft center (when freshly hot)
- great with a packet of salt and pepper and a little ketchup (adds just enough salty to the sweet potato to give it that fry taste and to satisfy that salty snack craving)
- gets cold fast and after that yuck
- super greasy, use a bunch of napkins to soak up the gallon of extra oil (no transfats)
- item rating 4
Menu Item: Popcorn Chicken
- ew.
- double ew.
- not really fried chicken...just weird breading.
- lots of msg that gave me a headache...i'm canto and i still got a headache from all that msg.
- waste of money.
- item rating: 1
Overall commentary:
Good:
- CHEAAAPPP - everything here is cheap! You can get a drink for 99 cents and food for under $3
- Really close to Baylands and the Baseball park, so good after sitting out and watching a game.
- hilarious stereotypical HUGE LCD with AWESOMELY AZN music videos playing all the time.
- They have a lot of choices...so much so...it confuses people who have never been there before...(BAD for indecisive people).
Bad:
- You get what you pay for
- the tea is of eh quality
- things are a little dirty
- the ketchup packets always stick together
- they put msg in like every food item or so i'm told.
- always overrun with teens.
- they don't carry everything they advertise!!! no milk tea with barley. =(
- there is definately a lack of service...if there person behind the counter isn't chatting it up with their friends, they are glued to watching music videos.
I was here the other day after dim sum at Hong Kong Saigon. The huge froyo sign caught my attention so I had to try it out. Cmon, t's guit-free dessert so I did it. Actually, I didn't even know there was a Quickly here - the sign definitely helped.
I didn't try their drinks but from my experience at other locations, they're just alright. Anyway, my review today is about the froyo and it was also just alright. It's a bit sweeter than most of the othe places (Tuttimelon, Red Mango) so it takes more like ice cream - not a good thing to me. I kinda missed the tart flavor at most other places. It also makes me suspect that there's a few more calories going into this fat ass because of it. Moooooo.....
It's not bad but if any other places were a little closer, I'd go for them.
This a decent boba tea chain. The tea are about the same everywhere but their boba's are always consistent and the snacks are good. But I noticed that they give more of the popcorn chicken and less on the mini-octopus at this location than the one at Miliptas Plaza. If this location have A/C and not let the "kids" just lounge around inside after school without buying anything, I would give 4 stars.
I've been to this Quickly's on Lawrence alot of times, and I've got to say that the service that I get here is really good, all of the workers here are really friendly, along with very neat decorations make this a perfect place to hang out and relax. Also the customers' orders are always ready in just about two to three minutes, unlike other places where it takes a long long while for the foods to come out. The drinks here are perfectly done, that they're never too sour or too sweet. However, what set this Quickly's above the others must be the varieties of food that they offer. They serve everything from crunchy popcorn chicken, to a complete, tasty meal. And another thing that surprises me alot is their low prices. Everytime I come here, it is always certain that I'm guaranteed to have a fun time and a great tasty meal.

The drinks here are mediocre, but they have awesome snacks. The popcorn chicken is good. My favorite is the nutella waffle. They also drizzle
condensed milk on top. I've eaten two in a row. It's a tasty delight!
I'm pretty sure this Quickly wants to poison me. altho this location is only a few blocks from my work, the drinks always taste off. one of my co-workers goes to Quickly almost daily, but he never goes here, instead he heads down 237 to the one in milpitas square. He agrees with me, this place makes drinks that just taste wrong, they taste like chemicals.
last week we had a company meeting and everyone ordered from here. Quickly gave us a free bag of popcorn chicken. it was moist enough, but had a very strong smell, my coworker who carried it in reeked of fried oiliness, just from having it in his car. it had some green stringy vegetables mixed in, like parsley or something, im not sure if that was on purpose. the first bite was fine, but there was a super funky aftertaste. i was scared.
I got the almond snow, and it tasted basically like cleaning chemicals. I dont know how anyone else would be able to swallow something that awful. I know Quickly has so many flavors, that some have to be hit or miss, but the one i had was probably toxic. where the liquid hit the back of my mouth, it went numb. NUMB!
I probably should mention that no one else complained about their drinks, but they never have pearl tea. at least it was free. i will not be back.

My sister-in-law (who is expecting) wanted to stop in here for something to drink while we were waiting to be seated at the dim sum restaurant a few doors down. You don't argue with a pregnant woman!
We had a watermelon slush with boba pearls. It was refreshing and not too sweet. Enough to take quench my hunger pangs since it was going to take a while to be seated for dim sum.
This is a good place to just hang out or grab a quick bite to eat. There's free wi-fi and a wall of vending machines that dispense little Disney, Pokemon or Hello Kitty trinkets. They'll be pre-occupied for a bit trying to decide where to put their dollar in change to get the toy that they want.
It's also good that they're open late at night - now I know of another place that's open for late night eats.

The tea here seems in line with their other stores. I did notice they had the Visa/Master card signs at the front of the business, but when if you want to use your credit card, get ready for a $15 minimum charge. You can try arguing with them that you should be able to use credit just like cash and not pay a minimum charge, but you won't get anywhere with that.
Bottom line: It's a cheap place to grab some tea, but be sure to bring some cash if you are just getting a drink.

Convenient location, but poor service along with bad quality make this a no-go.
This place advertises a 59cent special on their new frozen yogurt (http://www.quicklyusa.... - see the sunnyvale address listed even), but the price is around 3 dollars instead. Plus, the kid who worked there was unaware how to deal with us 5 annoyed customers with our iphones to prove the 59cent special deal is legit. After asking him what he'd do, he gave us the deal anyway, promising he never heard of it--only to run out of yogurt after 4.5 mini yogurt cups were made. It was a fun memory, but not one to repeat -_- Besides, over-priced frozen yogurt and quality cheap boba is available everywhere now.
decent drink, and their new frozen yoguart is not bad
Place isn't bad unless you hit it right when school lets out.
I've had better boba drinks in Mountain View but Quickly boba isn't bad. I usually get the ginger milk tea, taro milk tea or rose milk tea. The staff are pretty quick with getting the drinks out. As for the food, it seems to take a long time to get that served.
It is my third visit to this Quickly since I discovered its existence, I fall in love with this place already :)
I have no complain about their drinks, they make it just right, I tried thai iced tea, milk tea, and jasmine milk tea, so far so good. Their pearls are also nicely make, just the way I like them. My coworkers ordered some slushes and snows, they are very satisfy with their drinks too. I will try avocado snow next time since they have it on special.
I have also tried their popcorn chicken meal, they added basil to the chicken and make it very authentic, which I love For those who don't know what those green leaves are, they are BASIL :) Chicken is very crispy and tasty. There is also ground pork on top of the rice, the meal also comes with potsticker and soya egg. Yum, I love the ground pork taste. They have their ground pork rice special with milk tea combo for under $5, I gotta try it next time.
This store is very spacious, very clean comparing to other pearl drink places I have been to. They also have free wi-fi T1 connections, no wonder some folks are working/studying from this store.
The staffs are very nice too, the drinks serves very fast, snacks and meals take about 5-10 minutes.
They take VISA/MASTER, which also differ from other pearl drink places, almost all the pearl drink places they take CASH only.
While reading the other reviews for this store, I feel that some reviewers are being overly tough with this place. This Quickly really deserves better ratings. I will definitely come back to try out more snacks and drinks.
This is a very nice, clean, spacious location with easy parking. The server was friendly and had no problem making a concoction of my invention which was not on the menu. The drink was tasty, though not as good and big as at Tea Era, which is currently holding the title (in my little Yelp Boba World).

When I review franchises, I usually write a generalized review for all of them. I'm making an exception, since I already wrote a review for the San Jose location.
I actually like this location more. It's spacier, newer, cleaner. They have two big screen TV's playing asian pop with cute asian girls, but it's not as loud and obnoxious as the SJ location. It smells better in here, and they have a TON of new snacks. We tried the sweet potato fries and they weren't bad at all! Not as good as Hally K Ono, of course, but still really good for a little milk tea joint. We ate them at home with Safeway's Apple-Horseradish spread. It works well :).
They don't even have stamp cards yet and they wouldn't take ours from the SJ location, but soon ... soon! The best part of this place? Open till 10 (soon to be 11). Hooray.
I can't fathom giving something a one-star review for having a dish that tastes "like it's supposed to." I mean, how does that go?
"Wow, this bbq beef skewer is exactly as it should be: it's beef on a stick and it's deliciously meaty! It's marinated in some kind of delicious sauce and I am enjoying it. One start for not basting it with custard, cuz that would REALLY blow my mind!"
All my positive stuff about the SJ location still stands: great pearls! That's the key to Quickly. This location also seems to have way more other jellies and puddings (and that's saying a lot, since the SJ location has a ton too).
Yeah, I recommend this place, obviously.

Update: Was 4 Stars.....Now 2.
I had a 1/2 pound cheese Burger there the other night. In my mind, I thought for the $ 6.49 ( $ 7.03 with tax) I would be getting a better burger than lets say Carl's JR. Nooo, it was horrible. The 2 patties were pre-cooked I am guessing, and heated up in a microwave, as the meat was all tough like it gets if cooked too long in a microwave. Very tough and chewy...I do not recommend getting a burger at this place.

Just like the name...I looked into the strip mall at Lawrence and Lake haven in Sunnyvale and saw a new place to eat. I found that this is a chain restaurant. I had never heard of these before. So I had the special on Wednesday: Popcorn chicken. It came with a bed of rice a hard boiled egg, and 2 pot stickers. This is served on a plastic platter with plastic fork spoon...I also had a green apple slushy. I was surprised by how good the popcorn was. It was served very hot...So watch out for your mouth. They gave me a big heaping plate full which I thought was a good value for the amount I paid. This is mainly a cafe type of place.
I give then 4 Stars, as I thought they did a good job, for the type of place they are. Also it is nice and clean. - As it should be as they have been open for only 2 months.
I just wish that due to environmental concerns, places would find an alternative to those styro-foam food servers...

The workers are happy to take your order and get your drink out quick but be prepared for a wait when ordering anything else.
Why did the advertised $.59 milk tea end up costing $1.49? Can't say that the milk tea was anything exceptional. It just tasted like it's supposed to.
This place has been opened for a couple of weeks and it already looks run down. There are countless teeny boppers coming in or loitering around. This would account to why the place looks like a wreck cause you can't expect those kids to pick up after themselves. They need to hire someone to clean up the sticky tables and sweep out all the leaves and dirt coming in from having their doors wide open.
1 star for being close to where I live. Don't think I'd be back since there are other places way better to get my boba fix.

I think this place compares fairly to Tapioca Express. The quality of the drinks is pretty decent (I've had a coconut snow and a strawberry pudding). I actually think their strawberry pudding is one of my favorite drinks ever. The workers are fairly nice, and I think (opposite of what the reviewer before me said) the place is fairly nice looking. Two big plasma screens playing J-pop... ... nice. Pretty typical boba place though. I give four stars because the strawberry pudding is excellent. Otherwise this place is fairly average. I may update my review if I ever order food (which I doubt I will).

A co-worker of mine wanted to try something different and took me to Quickly. I have never heard of Quickly before. When we arrived I looked at the huge menu of drinks and different food items.
I ended up ordering the popcorn chicken and pork over rice. Wished this place had A/C because it was a pretty long wait (12 to 15 minutes) for the food and it was a hot day.
At least the K music videos were entertaining. While waiting for my meal, I ended up ordering a pineapple slush because the cafe doesn't have A/C on (probably left off intentionally).
Portions are pretty huge, popcorn chicken was almost spilling all over its serving tray. I had to move the chicken around a bit on my container before the girls behind the counter placed the lid on.
Took my drink and meal back to work to eat it.
Popcorn chicken was pretty tasty and no after taste which is a big plus. Pork over rice was flavorful and the drink was satisfying on a hot day.
Pretty good eats..... Service was a bit slow for the food though. Spent about $9 bucks with the meal and drink.

Good:
- popcorn chicken is tasty, comparable to what I've had in Taiwan.
- their 59 cent black tea (sweetened) is better than the Quickly in Milpitas, they don't add too much sugar.
- their 99 cent green tea isn't bad either
Bad:
- grilled chicken was somewhat dry, it is better at Milpitas
- cheeseburger and fries were better at Millbrae
- did not get some items "quickly" at all. one person didn't get their soup for almost 45 minutes. it took over an hour to get a cheeseburger, but they did give a refund for it.
verdict:
if i'm in the area, i'll just have the tea and popcorn chicken.
I really wanted to like this place because of the extended i hours and location, but i was let down with the quality of the food. Before I say what i ordered and why i didn't enjoy let me say, that this place get's 3 stars for it's great hours, cool decorations/style and for its huge menu. Now, I ordered the popcorn chcicken which i felt would be hard to mess up since its just fried chicken pieces thrown in a batter. Right after my first bite it noticed they gave me dark meat and i hate dark meat. I forced myself to eat several more but stopped after i found myself burpping up the strong taste of the fried batter and oil. Maybe i should have spoken up before ordering, but after paying nearly $5 for just popcorn chicken i assumed it would be white meat. I guess i'm gonna have to stick KFC popcorn chicken. To end on a positive not i will return to try out something different on the menu and most likely it will be a drink of some sort.
I was walking around my neighborhood today, and as I was looking around I noticed an abnormal amount of litter spread out along the street. I looked at the trash and noticed that it said "Quickly" on the empty cups that were laying there. Weird, I thought to myself as the only Quickly I know of is in SJ, outside of SJSU. Block after block, there were empty plastic cups of Quickly. WTF? When I finally got to my destination, I realized that the plaza near my house had just opened up a new Quickly. Yea! I dragged my sister in there and took a look around. It was a spacious area, and the teenage workers were very nice. It wasn't booming with business, but there were some people in there. So on to the drinks...I've had their boba teas before, and I like them which is rare as my palatte does not favor Asian flavors. Haven't tried the food, and don't think I will since I do not like Chinese food, and am picky about other Asian cuisine. Four stars for the space and the boba!
