Unbelievable that on the Queen Mary there is such a cute little boutique such as this one. I'm usually not really into anything fashion related but for some reason this store drew me inside and I spent some time browsing and even trying some things on.
They had vintage style clothing which was just so appropriate considering it was on the Queen Mary. I wish I had found something I liked in my size, but oh well..... still really really delightful shop -- who woulda thunk eh?

This store is super cute. Definitely a change from the stores that only sold queen mary memorabilia. definitely overpriced though for a lot of the things they sold there that you can find in other stores throughout LA.
i wish i didn't bring a dress to the boat, though, as they sold really cute dresses. however, the service wasn't really that great...the girl there didn't really seem interested to help anyone but just wanted to stand there behind the counter.

I found both the perfect belt buckle and the template for my first tattoo here. It's a Sailor Jerry-esque blue & red anchor and rope with four stars around it. The anchor represents my family the stars my parents and siblings and the rope will represent their smothering me. It's both a fashion accessory and a constant reminder of my misery---all for a cheap $25!
I love Martha and Sarah, the two shop keepers that now run this shop after Ernie's passing. They're friendly, attentive and sexxy.
If you're ever on the Queen, stop by the shop and drop some mad dolla dolla bills, y'all.

Awesome shop! What a pleasant surprise amongst the more touristy shops on the Queen Mary. Sure, there were a lot of cute clothes here (much of it rockabilly or 40's/50's-inspired), but what I really fell in love with was the selection of jewelry. We'd made reservations for one of the Queen Mary tours, and I was rushing like mad because as soon as I tried one piece on, I saw something else I liked just as much, and I didn't want to make us late for the tour. Anyway, I walked away a happy camper with a couple new artsy-looking geometric rings.
It's always great to discover a new shop, especially when I find so many things I just haven't seen elsewhere. And the price range is wide, so you're sure to find something. Too bad the location is so far out of the way!

Very nice place. A lot of little fluff items like funny little books, makeups, oils, glasses, shot glasses, ect. The clothing is very cute and the owner is super nice. Prices aren't outrageous. The owner has a friend that works across the hall that does alterations for free.
PS - I just asked them to let me on the ship so I could go to the shop. There were no questions asked and no money paid!

Let me preface this review with this: yes, I am friends/neighbors with the owner of this boutique BUT I'm not playin 'favorites'--I'd give it 5 stars anyway.
Fo real, this little boutique rocks! I went in looking for a gift for one of my friends and lemme tell ya--there was SO much to choose from! I thought it would be a cool shop, but you know when it's your friend you always have in the back of your mind--'what if it's not cool and I have to white lie and say it is cool'--you know, those thoughts? I was really relieved that I didn't have to do that. =) There are many gift ideas (books, accessories, lotions, etc), cute tops, funky dresses, hats, bags, shoes.....and all are moderately priced. I ended up finding my friend a super cute tote bag (which she uses ALL of the time) and even went back a couple weeks later to buy myself some black patten leather ballet flats! Oh yay-yer!

I really wish I had visited this store when I had more money to spend there! Owned by our friend Ernie Chacon (see my review below), Queen Mary Couture has a truly fabulous selection of unique clothing, accessories, shoes, and other fun gift items. And the prices are quite reasonable for a boutique-style store! Ernie hand-picked all the items and even designed several himself. (Friends of Ernie may want to purchase the one I know for a fact that he designed, a t-shirt with the words "Queen Mary Couture" emblazoned in a Rockabilly tattoo style on the front. These are selling like hot cakes, I've heard, so grab 'em up quick!)
Occupying the space that used to be the First Class Library, the store has a cool 50s art deco feel. And you may even have the pleasure of seeing a friendly ghost when you visit the store--Ernie told us that several people (himself included) have seen an apparition of an older man sitting in a chair in the men's corner of the store late at night.
I'd like to believe that Ernie's spirit will always be watching over the store, too. I'm so glad that his girlfriend Sarah is taking over the store and keeping it open. Hopefully it will continue to be successful for years and years to come, reminding us all of Ernie's great accomplishments and even greater fashion sense. :)

I love this shop and not just because I'm friends with the owner! It's like a little bit of Melrose Ave, Hollywood in Long Beach. They offer trendy, funky and fun fashions for women and men. Very cute accessories like bags, jewelry, hats, belts and lots of other little goodies! They offer fun reading materials too. They get new stuff in every week so there's always something new to ooh and aah over!
Check it out and you'll look better for doing so!

I thought this store was great, too, when I first saw it. I actually spent several hundred dollars there. However, when I discovered that one of the items I purchased had a hole in it, I got the runaround for almost a month when I tried to return it. They changed their story several times about returning defective items. I understand the "no refund" policy, but when they sell something that is defective and unwearable, they should give a refund.
Today, I finally spoke to the owner and she was SO INCREDIBLY RUDE! I don't understand why, since I was never anything but nice to them. I will never purchase anything there ever again.

This place is a regular home away from home when it comes to fashion!
You will always find the greatest and the newest in fashion for women and even mens. They tend to have a great sense of whats hot from the shoes which are killer to the dresses which will turn heads all around. The decor inside is very chic as well as the clothes on the rack.
You'll always find a happy smiling face behind the counter and something for everyone. The alcoves are filled with great little gifts for your friends and even some very clever and useful books. The back has a great little chaise lounge chair for your resting pleasures and magazines for when you're just tired from walking around the ship. This place opens late on the weekends and is a great excuse for you to check out the Queen Mary for free! **let the guys at the front know you're going to this shop to get a free pass onto the ship!!!**
Take the time to check it out and you'll appreciate this little boutique hidden in long beach. If you want to see anything or are willing to wait you can ask the shop keep to order a special something and it will be there in no time for you!
Overall just go to check it and when you're in a pinch for a special one of a kind gift head over to the Queen Mary Couture!

SUPER CUTE clothing as well as fun little gifts. Too bad it's located on the Queen Mary which is kind of inconvenient. But, I guess that is what makes it cool. Plus, if you hit up the Observation Bar beforehand, you can drink to alleviate the pain of spending. Maybe they did that on purpose?

wow! i was impressed with my last visit to this beautiful boutique. they have a great selection of cute clothes & trinkets to suit most people. they sold a variety of fluff products & some great brands of rockabilly/ vintage style reproduction clothing. something to note is that he also carries besame products which are hard to find in most stores. i have to order mine on-line. they have a great line of vintage style makeup that is made of the highest quality. my only regret was not being prepared to shop on my visit to the queen mary.
