Review from Cory S.

So happy to have this boutique/shipping center in my neighborhood.
I ship a fair amount of packages via freight collect to the UK. The staff here is so helpful in dealing with these shipments and I don't believe they get paid anything for it since I am using my customer's account. I know without a doubt, I would not get the same type of service down the hill at the UPS store or FedEx.
The boutique part of this shop is pretty lovely. They have a great selection of boots, clothing and gifts. The most impressive part is that I seem to see something completely new every time I shop there. They carry a lot of lines I've never seen before.
Love this place! -

A terribly cute shop, but with terribly high prices on the clothing.
I always love to stop and wander around the store when on the top of the hill. And If I had my mailbox stationed here I'd be financial trouble because I'd certainly always be makin a purchase from super girly underwear, to Butter London polishes, shoes, scarves, and funky jewlery. You see my point.
They have a great range of funky clothing, especially workout wear (this is Seattle of course) but most prices start at lowest $88, even for tops! Making my wallet cry a each time I open it here. The return policy is tight as well, 7 days to return otherwise store credit. I will give props for the girly selection of shoes, most are budget friendly.
Service can be hit or miss, usually when you have merchandise in hand I tend to get a better response. -

This is absolutely my favorite place in Seattle! The mailbox service is amazing! I know that things can happen with the mail, but I have never had a problem. The boutique is incredible as well, from amazing clothes, shoes, and jewelry to fantastic small and cute gift ideas it is a one stop shop!
Unfortunately, I no longer live in Seattle, but whenever I visit, this place is always my first stop! I have even brought another bag to fit all the fantastic finds I get there!
Highly recommend this business! If you have never been, go in and prepare to fall in love! -

I use QA dispatch to take care of all of my mailing needs and when there waiting to send a package, I will peruse the clothing and jewelry which I often find myself buying something that I really don't need.
The staff is always very friendly. -

Don't let the sign fool you. This is a place to get your package sent on its way and also a fun place to shop! I've bought gifts and card here every so often over the years and the shop is always fun to browse through and check out the quirky goods.
Staff is usually helpful and friendly but leaves you alone if you just want to look around on your own.
There are several racks of clothes and shoes. Most are pretty high end. Some are items you can find in major department stores, other items seem more obscure. The prices are a little high but the prices are fair considering the quality products delivered. You can also find a special gift or toy for a baby or kid. I can pretty much guarantee if you get someone a gift from this store, they won't be getting the same gift from anyone else!
Queen Anne Dispatch is a cute boutique with lots of gift options. Great place to pick up a gift and a card or even shop for yourself! -

The name kind of throws you off but I like the concept. You can shop while you check your mail and send packages. I found somethings to be a little overpriced. I pop in every once in a while just to browse but I have never found something that really called my name that was worth the price tag is carried.

I loooooove this place. Did some major Christmas shopping here and was able to ship them at the very same time! Really cute jewelry and pretty hilarious cards. I haven't bought any clothes there but they do have a very nice selection.
I have shipped many a package here and have only had really good experiences with customer service. In fact, I was going to ship a book in a FedEx envelope and the woman working there helped me get it into a much cheaper option. -

I never know what I'll find here, but since they have a little of everything chances are good that I'll find something amusing. Shoes (including lots of Toms), boutiquey clothes (with a decent selection at reasonable prices), jewelry, greeting cards, Butter nail polish, cosabella lingerie, and so on. One highlight: a fabulous selection of Crystalyn Kae bags, including a ton of clutches.
You can mail stuff here, too. And, it's true, they will accept and reuse your packing peanuts (clean, dry and bagged) - this made my day! -

It's a shame that such lovely merchandise is in the company of such stoic, unfriendly employees. I have gone here on a few occasions only because it has convenient hours for me to drop off my packages. Each time, I have been barely acknowledged by the sales staff and have only felt like I am bothering them when I ask them a question or say that I need to send a package. The employees avoid eye contact with customers, which is creepy, and they do not know how to properly finish a transaction. Just say "Thanks" or "Have a nice day" or even "You're good to go," but don't just stand there talking about your tan to your co-worker while you idly place a receipt on the counter. I could go on. The store is cute but the employees need some lessons in basic customer service and politeness.

Had to agree with the negative posts here. I live in Queen Anne and I had to go here and pay for a service they provided and received exceptionally snobby attitude. I smiled and acted friendly but all I got back was a dour attitude of someone who either hates their job or thinks they are better than you. They need some serious training in positive customer interaction.

Didn't bother to look through the clothing and gift items, because the staff there seemed so unfriendly that it seemed deliberate. We just used their Notary Services. There is a sense that you are being categorized by the salespeople, so if you fit some particular model of their expectations, maybe you're experience will be a good one. Considering all of the great boutiques in Seattle, there was no point to wasting time shopping here.

Does the UPS store carry lingerie? Would it be weird if they did? Probably.
But it totally works at Queen Anne Dispatch!
Okay, full disclosure, I worked here through college and one second you'd be helping someone try on shoes and the next you'd be wrapping a giant piece of art in hordes of bubble wrap to ship on the slowboat to Ireland.
Ooooh, the dichotomy!
It's a great neighborhood store and I loved shopping here even before I worked here. You can buy an awesome gift and card and ship it in one fell swoop. And it's run by the coolest family and it just feels good spending your money in a place that's been on the hill forever and helping a lot of the same customers forever and isn't some boursgie so and so.
Maybe you don't shop at places for those reasons (i do) which is why it's also awesome that they have a fantastic and eclectic mix of merchandise.
Just check it out, it'll win you over. -

While I've never shopped here because I don't wear women's clothing...
The Queen Anne Mail & Dispatch does ACCEPT STYROFOAM PEANUT donations! They'll even recycle the cardboard packaging you bring it in.
So if you get a package that is filled with those pesky little peanuts, and you aren't going to reuse them and feel guilty about just throwing them away, take them over to the Dispatch and they'll be glad to take them off your hands! They just have to be "clean." You're also helping out the "little guy," since it could help cut down expenses from them having to order more packing materials. Oh, and the whole "helping the Earth" thing too ;) -

Edit; After getting a very polite note from the owner, I would like to update my review. I was pretty displeased with the level of customer service I got every time I went to the store (as noted below in my original review). The owner emailed me apologizing for the poor customer service and assuring me that they would train their employees on better customer service. I am updating this review and upgrading them from 3 to 4 stars because they have followed through!! After not going into the store on a regular basis, I started going back a few months ago and the staff have gotten much better! They are polite, attentive, downright friendly! I now use this place for all of my shipping (no more post office yay!). The clothes are still very expensive, although there are a few items I've saved up for in there & found them to be well made and worth the investment. Maybe someday when I'm up to par with my Queen Anne neighbors I'll be able to shop their more regularly. Until then, I'll continue to shop there for cute stationary, clothes on the sale rack, shipping & cheesy trinket gifts (they currently have bacon flavored lolipops for sale & I bought my husband an awesome key chain laser gun (with sound)).
To the owners; Thanks for really taking my review to heart & trying to improve the quality of your customer service!
Original post;
I use this shop to send/ receive all of my faxes for work. They are generally very good in the shipping/office services. They have some great little gifts and cards, a nice section of kids toys, and jewelry. Their clothing selection consists of well made, trendy pieces which are a little over priced but if you shop the sale rack you can find some good deals.
I am only giving them a 3 because 50% of the staff are snobby and really give you a look over when you come in... basically you can see the rude thoughts forming in their brows and tone. I've never had a terrible experience here, just an empty one. -

I have not been into this store since I wrote my review about them, but I drive by everyday and saw a cute sweater in the window. I mentioned to my husband and him being sweet popped in there to try and find it. They had changed out their windows the day prior and he wasn't exactly sure which sweater it was. The staff was HELPFUL and FRIENDLY and tried to assist him but were not sure what sweaters were in the window. They asked a lady in the back and she was rude and curt simply stating that they have many sweaters in the store. Come on now it's a tiny store and although they carry a lot of stuff you can't tell me which 4 sweaters you had in the window and you need to be rude about it. Luckily the staff kept trying to help my husband and eventually came to the sweater that it was, but they did not have my size. Which is best because the sweater was $118 and I wouldn't spend that kind of money on a sweater where someone was rude to me in asking for it. It's unbelievable and he told me he will not be going back in there and I laughed, um yeah I DON'T anymore for a reason!

Surprisingly snobby sales clerks turned me off from this neighborhood boutique. Queen Anne Mail & Dispatch is like Anthropologie: unapologetically feminine, lifestyle products for clothing to stationary to cosmetics, cutely laid out. What more could a girl ask for?
Well, judging by the previous 3 times I've been here---how about a nice hello when a customer walks in and an attempt to not follow around and hover around said customer as if she's a suspicious shoplifter? I appreciate stores that give customers their space to browse but this went beyond that. The two shop girls only bothered to approach me after like 15min. which is special since I was THE ONLY PERSON IN THE STORE. I felt like I was being profiled or something. Creepy.
Talk about making a girl not feel wanted. I wasn't even dressed like a bum -- more like a cold-gear garbed girl decked in an Oakley jacket, a Delias's bag, and some Nordstrom mitts. Guess that makes me shabby by their standards. Boo to them.
I went to buy some stamps here figuring they'd have better holiday selection then nearby Safeway's...Just a headsup, Queen Anne Mail & Dispatch has a higher markup on stamps so its an extra $2 to buy cuter stamps here then at your local post office, grocery store, etc.
I dislike shopping at places that make me feel my money and presence isn't wanted. Queen Anne Mail & Dispatch is epic fail.
PS: About a month later, the business owner emailed me to apologize for my experiences at her store. So, at least the store owner, is sensitive to reviewers. -
Review from John G.
Trendy boutique located on Queen Anne Ave in the Upper Queen Anne area. Owners are two sisters who took over the place from their mother who ran it as a postal service place and shipping location. The sisters expanded to some nice and trendy ladies items to include clothes, handbags, shoes, tops, bottoms, etc. They added lots of card selections. Some of the "adult" cards were very, very funny. Lots of knicks and knacks.
My companion found a pair of great jeans that fit just right.
Worth a stop. Very friendly owner and the sales clerks were very helpful. -

I give "Undies and Outies" (their other name for their store) a "4" purely for their sales. You have to stop by often and scour the sales racks, but there are great bargains to be had.
I've gotten the CUTEST shoes for a great price. Totally unique and lots of fun. Just don't go looking for something specific.Listed in: Born to Shop

Cards, shoes, clothes and mailboxes?
Quirky, fun and unique. Great assortment of casual to dressy apparel and sensible and non-sensible shoes.
Walked in with a neighborhood coupon and walked out with a new t-shirt that i can't take off it's so comfortable, a zip up jacket (oh god i'm turning so seattle more and more everyday) and two cards.
They carry a line of cards that is my all time favorite but i can't remember the name right now... with lines like "thanks for the perfect gift, you must have been snooping through my stuff to know exactly what i needed"
Love this store - good neighborhood spot.Listed in: My Neighborhood, Born to Shop, Seattle Indie Fashion Stores

This place is genius. Is it a mail stop or is a boutique? It's both! Why is this genius? Well, it's an adorable boutique with both affordable and high-end baubles. If you need to ship a gift to friends/family it's a one stop shop. Pick something out and then take it to the counter and ship it right then and there! So easy! They also sell cute, handmade cards and gift-wrapping materials. Or, you can stop in and drop off your Netflix in the outgoing mail or purchase just one stamp as I did the other day. Every neighborhood should be so lucky.

Only in Seattle would a place like Queen Anne Dispatch (or Sip & Ship in Ballard) exist. I love the fact that it's a total mix of things.
Depending on your perspective, their prices are pretty reasonable. A lot of their clothes are targeted at the 20s crowd, but even into the 30s it's possible to find something here, because they don't emphasize the really frilly stuff. What I love about Queen Anne Dispatch is that you never know what you're going to walk out with. One day it's jeans ($75 -- much cheaper than the pair I was contemplating elsewhere), another day it's a dress on sale for $42, and another it's an evergreen-scented candle and a pair of earrings. They have interesting shoes. Also, their Cosabella undies are great. -

I love this store! Where else can I find a hot dress for Friday night, mail a package, and buy a little present for a friend? Ooohh la la! i have been lonely for a cute and girly store since Olivine closed. QA M & D has Lilly the chihuahua, Olivine had those two big dogs. Hmmmm, coincidence? My only complaint is that they do not carry shoes in my size. I have small feet, size 5. You know, if more stores carried smaller shoe sizes, well, I would need more shoe shelves. Hint.
Such an assortment of reviews. I have had the snobby experience here, but not lately. Perhaps it is because they have hired some more experience sales staff. -

One of my favorite places in Seatlle. I love the entire Queen Anne neighborhood and this store is one of the best. I find something different each time I go. I love the cards, the jewelry, the shoes, things for the house, bath products and candles. A great place to find just the right gift. The fact that you can ship from here is just icing on the cake. I am surprised by the unfavorable reviews about the people being unfriendly or snotty; that has never been my experience. The stools at the counter are nice; this is almost like shopping at a friend's house. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

This is a place I could spend all my money. I love the clothes and the shoes are pretty darn cute as well. The idea of a mail dispatch, boutique is so unique and these ladies have made it work. I love supporting small businesses and this is one to be praised for good service and setting a trend for a local business!

I love this place. The shoes, clothing and purses are all adorable. The mail services are wonderful. We're on the waiting list for a mailbox but until one opens up we're going to have our wedding registry gifts sent there for a nominal fee.

This place lost a star because of the rebuttal I got in a message from the owner. He basically told me that their store is not expensive because they sell some items for less than Anthropologie, and that you won't find expensive, high-end labels at their store. I don't particularly appreciate being told, especially in bullet points, that I am incorrect in labeling a store as "pricey". If I walk into your store and look around, I'm bound to check a few price tags, so I'd say my calling it "pricey" is based on the fact that I found the numbers I saw to be somewhat high. Maybe that is not the opinion of the store owner, but that's the point of Yelp right? It's an opinion.

Thank you so much to this amazing, little business. This holiday season, when the line was around the block to ship at the post office, I was able to ship my package as soon as I stepped though the fashionable threshold of QA Mail & Dispatch. My box was in shambles, and they quickly fashioned me a perfect size, tightly packed box, tape and all, threw on the labels and fragile stickers, and cashed me out--all within ten minutes. And let me tell you, I would have been fine to browse around a few more minutes, while waiting. Thank you as well for getting the box to my remote Oregon location, in one day! in addition, it was Christmas EVE! Seriously, people--these women are amazing. Check them out.

This boutique/mail center is certainly one of a kind. On the left side of the store, you will find cards and stationary, little, random gifts, etc., and a antique-looking bar where people will send mail/packages for you. The right side of the store is composed of an interesting array of women's clothing, mostly tailored for those of us who are twenty-something. Sometimes you can find great deals on well-made items (exclusively on the sale rack), but most of the time, I find the prices on the verge of astronomical (but not quite to the point of La Femme down the street). I recommend this unique shop for those looking to find gifts for young women: shoes, jewlerly, scarves, hats and lots of cute clothes (if you want to spend the dough). Also, there is a cute babies/young childrens section in the back. I give it two stars because of the prices. How do women my age afford this stuff when daddy's not in town?
