My fiance and I stayed at the Queen Anne a few weeks ago for a long weekend in Denver.  We loved everything about it!  The new owner (as of 2008) has committed to the Queen Anne being a "green hotel" - all organic (and super tasty!) breakfasts and cleaning products, and as much as possible locally sourced.  We stayed in two different rooms and they were both roomy and beautiful.  The owner and his staff are fantastic - they went out of their way to make sure we had a good visit to Denver, and seem to know everything there is to do and see in the area.   They also have a happy hour every evening with local wines and cheese.  It was a great experience, and we hope to go back one day!

My boyfriend and I stayed there about 2 weeks ago and it was fantastic. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner himself and he was so accomodating in everyway. The place was beautiful and everything was at your service (directions, suggestions, wine and cheese, coffee, tea, anything!). We had one of the suites with the hottub in our room and it was awesome! The B&B is eco-friendly down to the paint on the walls! What an awesome way to make it unique. It is walking distance to downtown and the perfect place for a romantic getaway. If you're gonna do a B&B in denver, this is the one to choose.

I loved everything about this place.  Tom, the owner, really makes the experience.  There is some much attention to detail and a very apparent intent to make everyone's stay enjoyable.  I loved the victorian decor, the piped in chamber music in every room (which you can control), the breakfasts, and most especially the location.  It's right on a park, within walking distance of the best parts of downtown Denver, right in the heart of the historic district.  I don't get to Denver very often but when I'm dragged there kicking and screaming (for a friend's wedding this time), I will stay at the Queen Anne!

I never stayed in a bed & breakfast before. This was a pretty good experience. We got the cheapest room there for $90 a night. The bed was great, the terrycloth bathrobes luxurious. The bathtub had feet, but the main draw of the room for me was the pullchain toilet. I felt... historical! Overall, a very comfortable place. The hosts were very accommodating, almost too much so. Sometimes you just want to eat in peace, but one of the owners was very eager to talk. The owner's dad also kind of wanders around the premises and gives you all kinds of tips from where to eat to directions to discussions on city government and their parking fee policies. They make a good breakfast in the morning, and there's also a wine and cheese hour right before you head to for dinner. Though the location is nice and close to downtown, it's a less busy where the B&B is, but Homeless Person Park is right across the street, and you might get accosted by some toothless old woman who needs money.
