Inexpensive, few good rides.

However some rides seem as though they may soon fall apart (Mad Mouse) and I would personally rather spend the extra money and  go to lake compounds in Bristol, ct (a very clean, fun and safe park).

I do like quassy, but I think that they need to fix it up a little bit more.
It's good if

this park is designed for kids under 12

that is pretty much all you need to know for a good review. If you have a kid in 7-8th grade or higher....they wont like this place because all the rides are equivalent to the rides found in the baby section of 6-flags.

When plans with a friend fell through on Saturday night, we knew action had to be taken in the mode of a Disneyworld commercial with the kids imagining white horses driving into their living room to whisk them away to a magical castle. So we went to Quassy Amusement park in Middlebury. I'd found it online and got a very amazing coupon  for 2 for 1 after 5pm wristbands (hello, 2 for $8) they also have a $20 carload deal. Parking is $5. There aren't a million rides, but certainly enough for me and even for "shake me around and spin me upside down" Matt. There's the giant swing, the rock and roll ride (one of my faves) the paratrooper, the whirly-gig thing that was pretty fun, and the roller coaster which was suited to my no-crazy-Six-Flags sensibilities, though the line was horrendous. We did these rides many times. There was a nice arcade but it was about 10,000 degrees. Some old school video games, one pinball game (boo) Two air hockey tables (yay). The saturation station, which costs extra or free with daytime wristband, looks fab with some water rides and a really nice beach with rentable paddleboats. It's great to see an American pastime that's actually still affordable for families. I approve. I Heart Quassy.
