We pretty much stayed here on the basis of Yelp reviews and the fact that we got a pretty good price for a room. We were just staying over night after getting in late after our flight and wanted somewhere to sleep near the airport.

The place was pretty nice already, but it seemed as if they were going through more renovations and remodeling as our hall was covered in painter's tape with our room number printed on paper and taped the side of our door. Now I know you may think this is tacky, but everything looked pretty new.

Once we got into our room I was actually pretty surprised at how much room we actually had. We had a little living room area with a fold out cough and TV, a mini fridge and microwave, a desk, and of course our bedroom area with a queen size bed. Parking was provided for the length of our stay, but the best part of all was that we had WIFI included with our stay.

While the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in, it wasn't uncomfortable and was really ok. This place also had recycling bins in the rooms for paper and cans/bottles so they're definitely doing their part to help out. There were a few other amenities that I would have tried like the free breakfast, but we really were just there to sleep and be off the next day so, no breakfast.

All in all a pretty good bang for our buck which provided a decent stay near the airport.

Literally walking distance from Millbrae Bart and Caltrain Stn. 10 minutes max. Free shuttle service from SFO. The lobby is large and nicely decorated, if not a bit dated. Free wi-fi all over is great.
Large rooms at very reasonable rates. Especially when you book on line. Comfortable beds and chairs, a desk and (two) tv's !
You can watch tv from the bath. :-}
Watched an HBO Chick flick from a bubble bath while drinking a hot tea. Only a girl can appreciate that!

Rooms have small fridge and micro, plus an iron.
They offer a hot breakfast, not just continental. And have coffee available 24hrs.
These are the pluses.

The minuses are as follows:
When I arrived in the room, it was stifling hot. When I tried to open the (large) window, I noticed that it only opens two measly inches! There is a block stopping you from getting the fresh air, -ugh. (or travel w/ a screw driver, he-heh!) -uh, but not on the plane, okay?

The hotel needs some attention. The jacuzzi was broken, and the carpeting is pretty shabby looking the front desk staff are (ok. but no stars.)
No fruit available, or newspapers.
Also, it's a bit of a huff to some decent shops, but heck we can all use the exercise.
ADVISE:
Try and get a room at the back, or you can hear Taco Bell's drive thru window from 10am -11pm.

More advise:
Don't eat at Taco Bell !
-giggle.

I spent from 12:30 til 3 am at Quality Suites with my best friend and her college friends. The room had 3 beds and 2 TVs. It was cramped for 15 people, but there was enough room for everyone to be comfortable. It helped that 2 drunk people were sitting in the closet together... talking. I couldn't care much either way because I got to play Wii!!!! Wii makes the world a better place. Seriously.

Quality Suites has free underground parking and it's right across the street from a bar, a bunch of local restaurants and the Millbrae BART/Caltrain station. QS offers free transportation to SFO which makes the short ride to the airport easy for out of town guests.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights and we were pleasantly surprised. The room and bathroom were clean and large. There were 2 tvs in the room, one in the "bedroom area" and one in the "living area". The hotel staff were nice and accommodating. The free breakfast was modest but good. The dining area is pretty small so get there early otherwise you'll have to wait for people to leave. Not really worth it for a modest free breakfast. I would definitely stay there again. Book early because they sell out fast.
