Rooms were clean, location was good, price was decent. Bathrooms were clean w/ a good shower.
AC worked fine, but when you close the curtains, the air just blows up the curtain instead of toward the room.
There is a breakfast nazi here. She asked what my room number is when I walked in. Uh... ok, guess that's ok, but then the fun started.
While I was there for maybe 5 mins she gave one guy crap for wanting to take coffee back to his room, then yelled at someone for leaving empty creamer containers on the counter for 2 mins (while the guy went to get some toast), and she told me I couldn't bring the food back to my room.
I got an early start so I had gone down there by myself and did not want to sit there alone (plus I still had packing to do). I didn't have my phone w/ me so I couldn't even tell my friend that I would be down there. So I had to ask the breakfast nazi if it was ok for me to go up to my room so I could at least let my friend know that I'd be stuck eating down there. She gave me crap then said that I could take it back up this time ONLY. And I had to take extra plates to cover the food that I took up. Waffles were good, but after that ordeal, I didn't feel like eating much.
Agree with Edward J. that coffee is weak.
Location is good. Right across the street from the Spotted Dog restaurant and the Zion Adventure Company.
Edward J. doesn't know from breakfast. Not only was there white and whole wheat bread, there was also three kinds of cereal, muffins, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, canned peaches and cottage cheese. No fresh fruit, it's true, but it was a pretty damn good spread for free. (Come on, dude, it's Utah. What were you expecting?)
Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Overall, a very good experience. Room is large and clean. Bathtub was so clean we actually took baths. Bed is springy.
Modern, newly constructed,on far edge of town, but on shuttle route to park visitor center. check in professional and friendly, reservation correct.well maintained property, clean room, good bed, strong air conditioner,HOT water and good pressure.pool was lovely to cool off in,spa warm enough to use. breakfast was pitiful though, only white bread, NO fresh fruit, weak coffee, attendant not very helpful or friendly. if you can afford it,better places to stay in Springdale, I imagine
