So I stayed here because this is where my boyfriend's company put them up when they do overnights.
I will admit that I was feeling quite ambivalent about going here. . .I am a hotel snob and I like nice hotels and just knew that any place on the side of the highway in Sparks, Nevada was going to be a let down.
However, this place won me over. . .big time. Why?
* they are pet friendly. You can have pets in your room . .. I like that I heard a dog's bark as I walked down the hall.
* clean, clean, clean
* nice, friendly staff
* three channels of HBO
* the cleaning staff were putting up the Christmas decorations and were having fun and laughing - enjoying themselves at work.
* they have a air hockey table in the little arcade in the lobby.
* cherry pepsi in the vending machines (try getting that at a Ritz Carlton!)
#1 reason I love this place:
* they have two house cats that live in the lobby - they were strays that wandered into the hotel and instead of kicking them to the curb, they feed them and care for them and in the morning they were both sleeping under the Christmas tree. Sweet.

When my brother decided to get married, he and his fiance had to look around to see where to tell family and friends to stay. They decided to look beyond the casinos since not everyone likes that scene. I was surprised that out of all the hotels they looked at, they recommended the Quality Inn....however, this is actually a nice hotel! Not a Ritz or even a W hotel- but for your typical, standard hotel it does the trick. A ton of the wedding guests stayed here and all said it was a fine place to stay. I heard some great things about their pool and jacuzzi too!
