The room was clean, though definitely could have used some touch-up paint.  Same with the bathroom.

But the staff was excellent and the price was right.

This isn't the best place in Tahoe to stay (by far), but it worked.

Ended up staying here for a night after having to leave our original cabin arrangement (out of control friends who only let us get 3 hours sleep and dragging us out of bed to keep drinking).  It was only the 2nd motel we went to but on short notice seemed nice and clean and was 2/3 the price of the holiday inn express.  $90 for a queen single.  Shower but no bath.  Room was nice and clean, so was pool and hot tub (although we didnt get a chance to go in).  Room was pretty basic decor wise, but who cares you just sleep there.  Had cable TV w/ HBO, plenty of prep area, coffee maker in the room, hair dryer, and alarm clock so at least the basic needs were covered.  Decent continental breakfast (cereal, english muffins, fruit danish, coffee, juices)  in the bar area which was very comfortable to relax in.  The staff was very friendly, and the evening manager gave us lots of information about where to go eat as well as some coupons and a restaurant guide.  If you want a really fancy place in tahoe, you can find it but be prepared to pay $150-$300.  If you just need a basic clean room to sleep in, I'd stay again.

Got a room here for $60 on Expedia so that we could catch at least one ski day this season (albeit on manmade snow on the upper half of the mountain at Heavenly.) I would never pay more than $60 for a room like the one that we got -- tiny with a shoddy bathroom (the shower wasn't lit at all and the door didn't close properly) and  questionable spots on the bedsheet (which I covered with a towel while I was sleeping.)

On the other hand, they do offer free continental breakfast at 7am, and the staff were friendly enough. Oh, and free HBO.

Overall, a drive-up motel rather than what "inn & suites" would imply.

Not terrible, not great.  Pretty much exactly what I expected.  The room was decent.  We got a clean nondescript bathroom and a king bed with a thin comforter so that you had to keep the heat on high.  The staff were very helpful and friendly.  The continental breakfast offered some cereal, toast and jam, oatmeal, some fruit, and yoghurt and granola.  I thought it was pretty good for the rate.  Clearly when you pick Quality Inn and Suites, you aren't expecting the casino down the road.

After my boyfriend and I decided to go to Tahoe for the July fourth at the last minute, this was pretty much the cheapest most decent place we could stay without paying $300 a night. The place was alright, the owners, particularly the wife, was really friendly. The breakfast was decent, better than I've had at other places. The room was small with only a small shower and no bathtub. In our room the toilet wouldn't flush completely unless you held down the knob for awhile. The door to the room didn't quite properly fit so there was a small crack. And out of our 3 nights there, two nights there were bugs in our room. We didn't spend much time in our room so we didn't really mind the quality. It was just a place to sleep. I have stayed at choice hotels before and this by far has been the worst one I have ever stayed in.
