Quality on the beach is just that, a quality place to stay and it's on the beach. The pool is nice. The rooms are big and comfortable. There is a flat screen, a fridge, and a microwave in every room. The hotel is right on the beach.

Here's the downside, drunken boaters like to anchor in the bay directly behind the hotel. I was only able to enjoy the beach for one day and my relaxation was disturbed by blaring rap music and shouting.

Later that night, I was woken by a drunken domestic disturbance and a slamming door.

I know none of these things were in the control of the hotel, but they were still disturbing enough to ruin my relaxation.

In conclusion, Quality is a decent and pretty cheap hotel, just be aware that you get what you pay for when it comes to budget hotels.

Just got back from Clearwater today and I had a GREAT time. Many thanks to the hotel too. Our room was kept very clean while we stayed which is impressive considering our late waking hours. The cleaning staff would just keep coming back and checking until we were ready for them. The room itself was comfortable, with nice extras like a fridge and microwave. Also much appreciated were the beach towels that were kept in the bathroom.  OH! And there is an LCD TV in each room with HD cable. Not that you should be watching much TV while on vacation in Florida, but there are times when it was nice to have.

The hotel bar was convenient and fun. Rum runners seem to be the big thing in Clearwater Beach and this hotel serves up a 32oz for pretty cheap. Personally they aren't for me, and I found their 32oz beers to be far more appealing, but I had a few of their alcoholic kool-aid's and didn't mind them one bit.

Also nice was the convenience of having the islands only (maybe I'm wrong, but it seemed this way) 24 hour diner right in the hotel. Clearwater Beach shuts down much earlier than I do. So thank you hotel-bound IHOP for feeding me late at night!
