This place is a bit unorganized considering they were expecting a lot of us coming and they only had 1 server?

I had the ... hmm I actually forgot what I got, but it was spicy pork broth and rice noodles (as far as I can tell, there's only 1 type of noodle). And boy were they durable. No broken ends on the noodles and they retained their shapes. I wanted to try out the meat side dishes but the server looks grumpy and overworked.

I really wanted to like this place but having a surly staff didnt really make me enjoy the food.

This place is fucking good.  The noodles are hand made and they are long as fuck so they give you scissors to cut them.  Supposedly they give white people scissors cuz they dont know how to eat noodles.  In my case they gave us scissors because we were sharing noodles and needed to cut them in order to put them in separate bowls.

The noodles don't taste like shit and they are tender and soft, basically they are fuckin fresh to death.  Me and my pops ordered the braised beef soup and the pork chow mein, both were fuckin great.  The beef was tender and soft like my ex girlfriend's face after I was done hitting her jk, but the beef was very good.  The soup base was also very refreshing.  The chow mein as bomb as fuck too, good flavor, good pork, good all the fuck around.

The menus look like a children's story book.  They have full sized close-up pictures of all their noodle dishes so if you are illiterate just point to the fuckin dish you want and you're set!  I will come back here fo sho.

If you're a local of fremont this is located in the shopping plaza where Capital City driving school is, shout out to Collin that fucker that taught me how to drive, holla!

Pretty decent Chinese food. Service was great on this Friday night..very prompt and friendly. There really weren't too many choices of noodles, but the menu was an awesome guide, complete with big yummy pictures of each noodle dish.

We ordered the Tofu with Preserved Egg appetizer (2.50) and two noodle dishes: Tomato and Egg, and Soy Bean Paste. The appetizer was delicious, and so were my Tomato and Egg Noodles. My paramour's noodles, however, were a tad too salty (though tasty). I liked the noodles though--they were very chewy...and impossibly LONG. It took me a while to eat because my hand got tired from the weight of the never-ending noodles.

Verdict: Solid, but I have had better hand-pulled noodles in the Bay.

The place got good reviews so I thought why not.  I met up with a few Yelpers here and well...it was not so great!  QQ knew we was all coming and well they only had one server for the whole place, granted it is not very big.  When I wanted to order he was never around and so me and David decided to go to the counter and order.  Well...he told us to back to our table and wait for him to come over.  Finally he did and we places our orders but the food took forever. I order a number 13 and I got number 12 instead. I was like what is this?!?!  I end up not making a big deal about it since it took forever the food to come out and I was hungry too.  I thought since he is Chinese he would give better service to his own people, but I guess not.  He was not attentive, we end up refilling our own waters and getting our own utensils.  The food was decent but I had better.

Came here yesterday with Yelpers, I'm once again the waitress because there was only one waiter.  He was ultra nice and allowed me to put my carrot cupcakes in the fridge.  I think we exhausted him out.

When I finished my noodles, I carried my bowl to the brown bin and a little man said, 'Sank you!'  That made me chuckle.

The noodles are ultra chewy and I didn't even need scissors with my meal.  I don't think that counts as being hardcore though.

I have been eyeing this place since January when I started "hardcore studying" all day at Suju's across the street. That green sign is so appealing I tell you! I would yelp this place during my study breaks and say "I will try you one day!"

Its been half a year and I never have tried it...until there was a UYE here (even though I didnt actually make it since I got off work late).

It was already 830 pm and I was still driving on 880, determined to get some of those noodles. I got there close to 9 pm already and I was happy to see the open sign still on. I was pretty surprised that the place is pretty big! I was Imagining it to be half the size since most of the restaurants there are small (Satomi and Juan More Taco). Their green paint is very soothing to the eyes--especially on hot days such as yesterday.

I was planning on getting the braised beef noodle but since I decided to take my soup to go to my BF game instead, I opted for the house special noodle (probably easier to eat than chunks of beef). I sat there waiting for my food. The place still had a couple of customers; there was even one that came after me and he still was seated to dine in (didnt get turned away for coming close to closing).

I read their to go menu as I wait, looking for things to try for next time. I already saw a few I want to get. The name of some noodles made me laugh--long time boiled noodles. I was thinking to myself if I get that and it becomes my favorite I will repeatedly say "me love you long time, long time boiled noodles" heheh.

The server was pretty nice. He was the only one in the dining area. He gave me bottled water for just a 1$ hehe.

My order came with utensils and everything. I was pretty disappointed they dont have big bowls to go to fit the noodles and soup together but I was hungry and determined and I am gonna eat this noodles anyway. I cut it in half which was pretty hard coz the noodles were very long; then cut the soup in half so both noodle and soup container has equal amounts of both. I took it to eat while watching the softball game.

Those noodles are amazing!!! They were long and hard to pick up with chopsticks at first and hard to cut but they were chewy and flavorful. The house special soup is sooo gooood!! Its like comfort food! It has that rich broth, a little thicker consistency with eggs (egg drop style it looks like), zucchinis, mushrooms, seaweed, meat, carrots, green onion and other stuff. Its not very salty which is good and the flavor of all the ingredients really go well together. It was a pretty warm night and I didnt care, I was enjoying my soup and not even watching the game haha.

I will definitely come back for the braised beef soup for next time and try some of their cold items.Oh yea and the long time boiled noodles too!

The World According to Noelle
~Allergic Girl's Guide to Life~
Issue 89

If you love noodles and soup- this is your place! They have a great menu with large pictures and a corresponding number, so when you place your order just give them the number. The restaurant is clean and quite family friendly. They use cilantro and peanut oil in their cooking- both items I am highly allergic to and thus had to pass on eating dinner.

My first experience here was with my fellow Yelper friends for a UYE hosted by Ann L. The entire dining room was serviced by one man. This man was not only the waiter but the cashier as well. Try being one man waiting on a room full of hungry people (possibly 45)!

5- stars for the picture menu, variety of dishes and the food that my family and friends enjoyed!

Noelle's Notes:
Kudos to them for being upfront about which ingredients they use as I cannot afford to tempt fate in beating another episode of anaphylactic shock.

Noelle's Post Secret:

Enjoyed the UYE event today and the #8 House Special Sour & Spicy w/Pork Noodle soup was satisfying and fulfilling.

Minus one star for being under prepared for the influx of 20+ Yelpers and more than 30 other customers even though they knew that about 30 Yelpers were expected.

Noodles are consistently good, and worthy of a try - you will find something that will grab a spot on your "MY Favorites List" !

I'll be back . . .

I saw their ad on the display window of Marina Food @ Union City, and the Noodle picture looks so good.  So went.  I had the beef stew noodle.  The noodle is long and chewy, very "QQ".  The beef is tender, not too cooked.  Love the food.   Will go again.

I know of 3 hand-pulled noodle places in Fremont, of which 2 are QQ and Palace Chef (Yen Ching at Ohlone village is the other one).  And given that both are on Thornton Ave., it's hard not to compare the two.  Here goes.

NOODLE QUALITY (obviously taste is the most important):
Tie!  So QQ's hand pulled noodle is very chewy, while Palace Chef's noodles varies and can sometimes get too tough.  However, one of my favorite soup noodles ever is at Palace Chef - seafood noodle soup (chow ma mien)... ah so savory and flavorful... the soup noodle's at QQ are definitely good also.  My favorite soup noodle at QQ would be the "pai-gu" (beef bone? pork bone?) soup noodle.  It's served in one of those Cantonese-style soup pots and tastes very simple yet yummy.  Not as full-flavored as the chow ma mien but it's a different type of good.

AMBIANCE:
QQ noodle takes the lead.  Even though it's just a simple noodle shop with no special decor, it's clean and simple layout is comforting to the eye.  Palace Chef on the other hand, has the funkiest random-ass posters of Jackie Chan and Korean models.  Did I mention that underneath the clear table linings there are pictures of space shuttles taking off???

PRICING:
Tie again I believe.  Not sure about QQ, but Palace recently upped their prices a tad.  Either choice is still worth what you're paying for though.

SERVICE:
This one is hard.  I would say both places are understaffed, because every time I go there is only one server.  Now given these limitations, the lady (owner) at QQ noodle is nicer.  Then again we were one of 2 customers that night so *shrug*.  Nice lady though, found out that she's a single parent putting 3 (I think, I just remember there was a few) kids through college and her daughter who is the same age as me goes to Yale.  Not bad for a single parent!

I just understood why my initial rating for this place is still one star higher than my supposedly favorite noodle place, Palace Chef.  This place offers a better all-round dining experience.  But that seafood noodle soup at Palace is still my favorite XD!#$(!

This is an update to my original review.  I have to change my review to a solid 3 1/2.  On my second time here, I was just as satisfied but I can't say that I am more so.  I was pleased to see that while they were under staffed, they maintained the best service possible.  The only wait staff was running all around trying to accomodate for our orders.  Though on the slower side, it was consistent.  Perhaps because it was a casual environment, I can't be harder on them in this area.

As for the food, it was good but for a second time I was hoping for wow.  I didn't get wow.  Noodles were great, consistent compared to last time.

******************************************
This review is 3 1/2 stars but well on its way to 4.  The only reason I couldn't give it a 4 is because I didn't prefer one of the bowls that I was really hoping to enjoy.  See review below.

I'm always looking for new Chinese food places to take my parents when they're in town.  After some contemplation, I remember passing by this place and seeing a lot of Asian heads through the window but I'd forgotten that the place serves "pulled noodles" as opposed to the much desired "knife cut noodles".  Either way, I love noodles and enjoy them in just about any form of preparation.

The ambiance was very much like a cafe or noodle house you might find in Taiwan or even Shanghai and reminds me of the little places I used to munch at when visiting my grandmother or during my stint abroad.  It was a comforting feeling.  Though, I'm not sure I'd have chosen the green paint color for the walls.  Whatever!  I was there to eat, not judge decor.

The waiter recommended the #1 and #8.  But it was #7 (I think that was the number but don't mark me on it) that made me drool.  For some reason I was in the mood for beef noodle soup.  But, knowing that's my dad's favorite, I let him order it and I got #1 while my mom got #8.  We shared all three bowls.  You know the food is delicious when no one at the table is talking except to ask for more noodles or tea.  That was us.  In my book #1 and #8 were delicious.  I was surprised I didn't love #7 but that's only because I'm more of a fan of tendon that tripe and I like my beef noodle soups on the spicier side.

Another major draw to this joint is that the noodles are chewingly fresh.  Hao Chi, hao chi!

CAUTION:  Don't wear white or anything you don't want stained.  When slurping noodles, it is quite possible the soup might splatter all over you so best to wear a bib.  Oops... did I just admit that I'm prone to clothing stains?  Really, it's not my fault.  It's the food that attacks me when I'm not looking!

QQ Noodle is definitely a small restaurant in a plaza.  When you walk in, you basically find your own table and sit down.  The menus were on the tables, too.  I liked how there were was a picture for each noodle dish in the menu.  The pictures sure did make all the dishes look really tasty!  After staring at the menu for a while, I decided to order the spicy and sour pork noodle soup.

My noodle soup came out really quick and I was excited to try it.
I loved how fresh the noodles tasted.  I had trouble putting the noodles into a smaller bowl, so the waiter gave me a pair of scissors..lol.  The noodles are definitely really long, so the scissors came in handy!

If you are in the mood for fresh noodles, I'd recommend QQ Noodle. =)

Ordered the spicy beef noodle soup for dinner w/ a five spice pork stomach appetizer.

Beef Noodle soup was tasty, flavorful and noodles were chewy. The few pieces of beef were relatively tender. Noodles were chewy and delicious!

Service was rushed, typical of Asian restaurants. We were asked for our order at least 4 times and the owner kept on looking at our table during our meal to see when we were done....

3.5 stars in my book...good food needs good service!

my moms from beijing and my dad is from shandong, so they're pretty good experts on good noodles. we had the spicy beef noodles and the #1 and #2 (dont remember the names).

Just good food. This is pretty authentic noodles, so if youve never had chinese style noodles, you won't know what this place is like.

its really good food, well made, and the service is really nice if you are chinese, just drop some chinese with them. haha.

i could see how the flavors and the service could cause people to think that this place isnt too good, but if you are OG chinese, and you've had this stuff at home or in asia, then this is LEGIT.

Holy Bovine! Those are mile long handmade noodles, Batman!   Apparently, the noodles are handmade here.  Sharing noodles with another person is quite difficult as I have experienced because of the length of these noodles (imagine, I had to use my teeth to make one fell swoop-cut).

Just to make this short and sweet - not only are the handmade noodles a bit of a novelty here, but I think what makes QQ Noodle special is  its the #17 item "Long Time Boiled Thick Noodle Soup & Pork".  This $8.75 concoction is made of: a) the standard handmade noodles b) 5-6 hefty pieces of quality hearty lean pork c) veggies and d) the amazing boiled all day cloudy broth full of flavor I cannot begin to analyze.  The broth is SO good as compared to items #1-14(as I have tried a few of these items already - the broth is neither good nor bad), as it seems that broth was boiled all day. I assume menu items #18 and #19 have amazing broth as well.

Try out #17 for yourself- I don't think you will be disappointed.

QQ is Doo Doo. Nah, just playing. Ok, no I'm not. So I'm not a big soup person, sue me. This place doesn't give you many options. You can have this soup with pork or this other soup with pork or maybe that soup with pork. Pork haters beware! I threw a gang of hot sauce on it and worked it out. Did I hate it? No. Will I go back? Probably not.

If you like pork and soup, handle it! This is allllll you!

Thanks to all the Yelp reviews of QQ. I remember the times before Yelp when I would have to browse through magazines like "What's On" or talk to concierges to try to find a place to eat and how the experience would be like playing Russian Roulette. I can't imagine how I would have found QQ without Yelp.

A co-worker and I went the QQ the other night. The first thing that struck me about QQ over all other Chinese restaurants is their menu. Not only are the items listed in both Chinese and English but the menu is like a kid's picture book - each menu page is laminated in plastic and is a picture of an item on the menu. We had a great time thumbing through this picture book menu. What a great idea especially for people who are not that familiar with noodle dishes. I don't understand why some restaurants only publish their menus in Chinese.

My friend and I ordered a #10 Hot and Spicy Beef Stew Noodle Soup ($6.95), #7 Shredded Pork Chow Mein ($7.25), Beef Tendon with Hot Oil Sauce ($2.99) and Fried Peanuts ($1.99). The Spicy Beef Stew was excellent - the broth rich and tasty and the beef (brisket) cooked until tender (but still a little chewy) with lots of flavor. The noodles, as others have noted, are hand pulled and have a nice chewy texture. Very nice! Definitely amongst the better/best spicy beef noodles I had. My co-worker, who is from N. China, also agreed that it was good. He kept nodding his head in appreciation as he ate. The Shredded Port was also very good - although I was concentrating on the spicy beef. The Beef Tendon was OK - it was thinly sliced tendon with a hot oil sauce poured over it.

We both left completely satisfied.

Simple place for some pretty good noodles.
Big portions, and pretty good service.
We like to order the cold tofu and century egg appetizer, and then followed by the friend noodles with egg, beef noodle soup, & dry pork sauce noodles (#3). The other noodles are pretty good too.
I like the texture of the noodles, though my mom does not like the chewiness of it.
The tables are not set close apart, so you feel quite relaxed having your meal.
And they are kid friendly too.
What more can I ask for?

My one complain was that one time I tried to call a to-go order, the phone was forever engaged. Turns out that the lady had left the phone off the hook because it was a busy night. When I got there I checked the phone, and put it back on. The phone immediately rang, and then the lady left it off again!! Not sure if this happens often. I haven't tried calling in my order since.

Fremont has very few noodle houses. This is the best one by far. The hand pulled noodles have a unique consistency and flavor. The first time I went, I tried the egg/tomato noodle dish. I wish I could make that one at home. I usually get the pork noodle soup (the one that comes in a separate bowl w/ the black mushrooms).

Large portions, simple menu and good (handwoven) noodles. Dont expect tons of flavor. Its actually the simple taste that makes their dishes pretty good.

They also have a picture menu which I really dig cause it made my ordering experience an easier one.

Their soup is also "THE CURE" for hangovers!!!!

Woke up yesteday feeling like I had been kicked by a bull. One of those achey am I coming down with the flue kind of days. Still I can't slow down as I'm moving to a new State in 2 weeks, and this is the busiest time of year at work. After running some errands in Fremont we stopped by QQ noodle for lunch. I had the tomato egg noodles. They were so soothing, total comfort food. I felt a lot better after I had a big bowl of mild slightly sweet noodles and some hot tea. The noodles were a challenge to eat with chopsticks because there were so many and they are so long. Still it was such a fragrant warm tasty meal. They provide scissors to cut the noddles up and make them a bit easier to eat. My hubby had the pork chow mein and enjoyed it but wished the pork was in bigger slices so it would be easier to grab via chopstick too. We had a good lunch and it was very cheap too, about $16 for the two of us. There were a lot of families eatting lunch with little kids or grandparents, I really like the family atmosphere. The food was great I would eat here again.

Good noodle, very chewy. For some reason, I always find this place to smell funny. I wonder if it's because I always catch them after they clean the place with bleach, or vice versa, where they always decide to clean the place with bleach when i go visit. In any case, the smell bothers me and that's why i give it a 3 stars and not 4.  But the food is good, you can always take it to go.

Very cute place for lunch. I tried two bowls, the chicken one and the braised beef..I liked the beef one a lot more because the chicken was pretty bland.

The price was right for a place that hand-makes their noodles. Service is quick and to the point.  I question however, whether MSG is put into these dishes because I notice some of the effects after eating here. hmmmm?

Finally got to try this place last night. Delicious and the noodles really are "QQ"! Love it. I don't know why the reviewer below said it smelled, I didn't think so and I'm pretty sensitive to smells!

Anyhow, I ordered the house special, and requested for it to be mild and it was just perfect. Usually they say it's not spicy and it comes out flamin for me, but the waitress and waiter were super attentive and both even came back to make sure it wasn't too spicy for me. Great service!

Loved the noodles, and they were under $7. Only thing is, they are 21 miles from my  home...as bit too far. I definitely want to go back if I'm in the area though!

YUM!  I ordered take out from here after reading the yelp reviews and it was delicious!  There is a good variety of noodle dishes, that are not your typical chinese restaurant fare.  The noodles are very well made and a great portion.  You can definitely tell the noodles are fresh.

I ordered the House Special Sour and Spicy Pork Sauce Noodle, the Long Cook Pork Soup Noodle and the Hot and Spicy Beef Stew Noodle.  My husband, son and I liked all three dishes - we cleaned up.  Service was fast.  They accept credit cards over $20 - but if under $20, they only charge .50 to use CC.

Went here on a Wednesday evening for dinner after reading about this place on yelp.  We got there early and they weren't open yet; they open at 5 pm for dinner.  Ended up coming back at about 6:30 and there were a good amount of patrons for a Wednesday night.

The menu was good because it contains pictures of most of the items so you know what you're ordering.  However, the chow mein that I ordered did look different than the picture.  Ended up ordering three things to share: the chow mein, beef stew, and the sweet and sour broth.  The noodles were very good and smooth.  It was firm, yet not chewy.  The best part of the place are the noodles.  The broth is similar to many noodle houses but the noodles here do make it different.  Of the three we tried, the sweet and sour one seemed to be the favorite.

One thing I did notice is the beef stew was much less greasy than I've seen it at other places.  The beef used for this type of stew generally has a lot of fat and you can see it in the broth.  However the broth here is in direct chinese translation more "clear".

The price is about what you would expect from a noodle place around here with most dishes around 7 dollars.  I would definitely recommend for others to try this place.

Just went there yesterday for dinner. I had their spicy beef noodle soup. The noodles were good. Good texture and flavor and deceptively filling. Definitely a winner in the noodle department. Their broth needs work though. Somewhat thin (not too much gelatin extracted from the bones) and a moderate amount of flavor. The beef was done well. Decent cuts and very tender.

BTW: I gave an extra star on this because of their service. My friends have a 1 and 1/2 yrs. old kid who is in the grabby stage. When we asked to have a small separate bowl for the kid, the waiter not only brought the bowl, but brought a pair of washed scissors to help cut the noodles for him. He also made a conscious effort to place the scissors furthest away from the child so he wouldnt grab it and hurt himself.

I love it that I can come here any time of the day and I can get seated right away unlike all the other packed restaurants. Don't let the half empty restaurant fool you. This place is located in an outter strip mall and mostly goes unnoticed. No high traffic rolling by over here. I hope it stays this way!!

No need to know how to read to get what you want here. Their menu is filled w/pages of colorful photos of each of their entrees. Just point or read off numbers.

There's not a huge selection of appetizers so skip it and go right into ordering the noodle dishes. Entrees come in only one size. This is a noodle house, so yes, everything comes w/noodles whether it's soup based or not. If you're looking to eat rice, you're at the wrong place.

I've had pretty much everything on the menu, but my fav is the tomato and egg noodle (#4). Noodles are hand pulled and have the perfect consistency - not soggy, not dry, just right. Braised beef noodle soup isn't too shabby either (#12). I like the pork chow mein too (can't remember the #). I definately don't like #1 and do not recommend ordering it either.

Always friendly staff!

A casual chinese noodle house in a not so high traffic small center. The two times I visited there (one dine-in and one take out), the place was completely dead. I found it somewhat questionable whether this business will last.

Noodle- the noodle was better than most other chinese resturant that sells noodle soup.

Broth- It okay flavorful but it's nothing close to a wow factor.

Meat in broth- The meat is tender because they use pressure cooker to cook it but I find the quality of the meat questionable during my second visit. The pork has this really bad odor to it. This goes the same with beef but not as strong as pork.

Second and final visit- I ordered take out worth over 60 dollars and the restaurant would provide pickled veggie but they didn't give it to us. When I asked, they told me that they didn't have enough for the rest of the evening so they can't give it to us. WTF? Excuse my language but keep in mind, this place was totally dead at 7pm on a Saturday, what makes them think there will be any more customers coming in? Am I not one of their customer?

This place doesn't know how to keep their customer so I wouldn't be surprised if this place close its door or change of ownership.

I wouldn't go back again.

The staff here is extremely friendly. They def tend to their customers needs! One time my bf and I got to the restaurant before they opened and the usual waiter that serves us (this younger looking guy, I think he and this other older woman are the only ones who work there) noticed us and let us in and opened the kitchen for us!! How cool is that?

The food here is very good. The noodles are chewy and cooked to perfection. I'm not a very big fan of their noodle soups though. Well, I just don't really like noodle soups generally.  Anyways, I think I've had all their noodle soups on the menu and the soup base taste all the same. They just change the ingredients (type of meat, veggies) depending on which one you order. The meat, like in the beef stew one, is always tender. But the soup seems to be a bit on the salty side. My favorite dish here is the tomato and egg noodle!! OMG, i LOVE this dish. Just watch out though. If you order other dishes, eat those first before you gobble this one because the flavors are so bold they start making the other dishes taste a bit bland afterwards (or maybe it's just me?? :P ) Also, their pork chow mein is pretty yummy too.

UPDATE: Came here last night after a full day of snowboarding. We were all craving some nice, yummy, and warm noodles.  I brought my cousin and bf here and I'm sorry they had to experience one of their bad nights. The service and food quality remained the same but the food itself wasn't as large (portion size), flavorful and hot as I remember. Maybe I just came on a bad night? In any case, I've minused a star from 4 stars to 3! Yesterday, we ordered our usual (egg and tomato and the pork chow mein) which was almost warm in temperature and definitely a bit bland. Our egg and tomato dish only had 3 cubes of tomatoes, which normally has at least a dozen, and the sauce was lacking and a bit tasteless. I was very disappointed! But, that still won't stop me from coming here :P

Lots of my Chinese friends love this place and I can certainly see why. After all, it's not easy to find good quality hand pulled noodles in U.S. The noodles here are chewy with the perfect texture without being too dry or soggy. That being said, as much as I am impressed with their hand pulled noodles, I am only giving 3 stars to QQ because:
1. Way too greasy. You can see layers of oil floating on the top of your soup. I actually felt a bit sick afterward because of the greasiness.
2. All soup base tastes the same. They are usually salty, sour and spicy. Nothing super special about the soup itself. If you take away the noodles, the soup is actually pretty sad.
3. The veggies and meat quality are mediocre. QQ doesn't seem to be too generous on giving out the veggies and meat on the dishes.

If you are a hard core hand pulled noodle fan, this is definitely a place for you. Otherwise, you might not be too impressed with QQ Noodle like me.

The noodles here are definitely very good.  It has an excellent chewy texture which is how all noodles should be.  The shortfall of this place is that their broth is pretty bland.  They have a spicy beef noodle soup and I expect that dish to be very spicy with loads of flavor however it lacks the spiciness and lacks a flavorful broth.  I come here once in a long while when I feel like having some chewy thick noodles.  It gets crowded on the weekends and you may have to wait.  You  have to make sure that you go to the back where register is to get a number.  Even after you get your number, you have to keep an eye out because sometimes they don't follow the numbers and other patrons will just sneak right by you.

Very yummy noodle soups period...and a very good idea if you're not feeling in the mood for the usual Pho, Wonton Soup (at your local americanized Chinese restaurant), or sub-par Tom Kha (that you will normally find in Fremont).  The noodles are delicious and plentiful, the soup broth comes as you order...so far we've tried the spicy beef noodle soup, the QQ special noodle soup, and the sliced pork noodle soup.  They've all been very good...with the spicy beef the most tasty and flavorful.  I love the Special with its great chunks of meat and some veggies.  All of their soups not only have those tasty noodles but also great chunks of meat....me likey!

This is the only place I go to when I am craving handmade noodles, which is every other day. :)

I recommend the jajangmien and the beef noodle soup.  The sauces are good, but the noodles are excellent quality!

Is it me, or has the past couple of weeks been ridiculously (ha! favorite yelper take that! :D) cold to the point of bone chilling iciness...!?

It could be that I live in the famed ice castle, and by the time I get to work, I'm so damn cold that I can't even function correctly!?

Well... too bad I can't shrink down QQ and bring it with me in my pocket!  Like those expanding foam dinosaurs in a capsule -- "Just drop into warm water, and watch them GROW!"

I like spicy.  I like chewy-but-noy-too-chewy, non-soggy, elasticy noodles.  I like spicy chili oil tripe.

I guess that means I like QQ. :D

Great for cold-ass weather that we're experiencing here in the Bay, because it seriously warms you up like no other!  Walking in here is nothing too impressive, since it is in a strip mall in the middle of Fremont, home of the homey, and relatively simple in decor.  I'm guessing they serve Taiwanese style hand-pulled noodles since they do have vinegar type noodles and serve that type of spicy that is distinctly Taiwanese?  Please don't shoot me if you think I'm talking out of my ass, but as far as I know, I AM RIGHT, beeeyatch. hehehe...

Mmmmm beef stew spicy noodle, and pork and za cai noodle, hot chili oil tripe.  Relatively good prices, $7 for a gigantic bowl.... obviously its no Chinatown $5  but for Fremont and the taste and size, its pretty good...

1 star docked for seating us in FRONT OF THE TOILETROOM!  What? Really? the Toiletroom? When theres tonsssss of seats elsewhere?   No good on that....

but otherwise, yummmiiiiiiieeeee! :D

I had a difficult time choosing...  although I thought it was kinda cute that you basically just pick whatever looks good...  in my case, nothing really grabbed at me, so I ordered the house special soup.  It was a nice enough soup, although I wasn't expecting the broth to be so thick.  The noodles, though, were nicely chewy and fresh tasting.

I preferred K's hot & spicy soup w/ the flat noodles..  well, I preferred the taste of his soup, but I preferred my noodles to his.

Not likely to be going back though.  QQ is not in my 'hood.

The first sitting was a decent experience and second sitting 3 stars and the rest just 2 stars due to the fact that the noodles are just not as QQ as the big Q's. They also never have this certain noodle on the menu. It is one of the soupy one on the 4-5th page.

The Salty dressing, Left overs are not good or QQ at all after reheating. Service is great but the noodle dressing gets old after you try all of them.
