This is the best medical practice in Seattle, period!.  Everyone there from the scheduling staff, billing and the MDs, are focused completely on you and your health needs.  Dr. Fran Broyles is an uber endocrinologist!  You will not be disappointed with your care from the staff at Qliance.

I have been a patient for a while now, and in general for the cost, have been pleased. I see one of the Nurse Practitioners, who is as good as the doc I saw previously, if not better. She is patient, responsive to calls or email, and very thorough.

The downtown office is very nice-parking is a huge pain.

I don't give 5 stars only because I have experienced rudeness on the part of one of the male desk people downtown more than once and on the phone (and have been made to feel like I am bothering him), and at the Mercer Island location found the desk staff there to be a little clueless. I have also found that the medical assistants can be annoying, in that they offer too much chit chat and/or don't seem that interested in your medical need.

Major things are not covered, but for under 100 per month, this is a very good option and a new and effective model of healthcare.

As a single parent I started using Qliance coverage for my son back in the fall of 2009 and I have been very pleased. The office personnel and the doctors are all very professional, helpful and most importantly don't make us feel like we are "less than." They are also always on time for appointments and this is very important to me.

I have catastrophic insurance for my son with a $1,500.00 deductible and then after that his insurance only covers 70%. Qliance is very affordable, and in my opinion is a very, very good value for the money (I spend less than $600.00 annually on premiums).  There are no co-pays and things like crutches are sold to consumers at cost. What a concept! :)= ($12.00) as of last fall (2010).

Typically as a healthy but rambunctious teenager most of what my son needs to go to the doctor for are for "typical" things like a sprained ankle or a bad cold.

I have a friend who is a member here and during December they ran a promotion of "giving the gift" of Qliance. My friend gave me a voucher to check them out for 2 months and I signed up. I actually got quite sick with a stomach bug at the same time as my registering process. I spoke with someone there and they managed to get me in their system and in to see a doctor on the same day!

The nurse came out at exactly 10:30 (my appointment time) and took me back. Everyone was friendly and I spent a full HOUR with the doctor discussing my recent illness, my medical history and getting a thorough exam. I really dislike going to the doctor, but I felt pretty at ease and definitely felt cared for.

They bill their blood work AT COST and the doctor encouraged me to come back in when I'm feeling better to have a skin tag removed and to do a more comprehensive physical with wellness plan. The visits themselves are included in the monthly membership.

I'm truly amazed. I grew up in a very small town with a mother who was a nurse at the hospital. Therefore, I never waited and always got babied when I had to go to the doctor. I totally felt like a kid again today.

Dr. Wolin is wonderful! She is such a kind and gentle physician with excellent listening skills along with strong clinical knowledge. I brought in a huge list of primary care issues to discuss and we went through each of them in great detail. It was the most comprehensive primary care experience I've ever had and she was so patient listening to my concerns. The practice is beautiful - very clean and beautifully decorated and the staff seem geniunely happy.

I have a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account. Paying the monthly primary care membership fee and having 7 day a week access to truly incredible primary care is so much better than having huge premiums come out of my paycheck.

This is such a better alternative than typically health insurance which costs you hundreds of dollars per month out of your check (whether you use the care or not!) versus a Health Savings Account which rolls over from year to year, allowing you to have a pre-tax health care IRA to use for you and your dependents!

My husband and I own a small business in Bellevue.  My husband doesn't have health insurance, but was recently diagnosed with diabetes and high cholesterol.

Dr. Rick Morgan at Qliance is such a blessing.  He has taken a great deal of time with my husband and educated him about diabetes and cholesterol.  He is attentive and patient.  It's not unusual for an appointment to reach two hours.  He remembers little things about you and engages you in conversation.

I have health insurance through my employer and my doctor of 18 years has never asked me a personal question - not once!  Dr. Morgan is an incredible doctor.  He listens to what is going on with my husband and takes action when needed.

Qliance has been such a gift from God.  They go over the cost of the tests, i.e., blood draws so you know upfront how much it's going to cost.  They are very aware of the high cost of health care and work to keep their costs low.

I love my husband more than my own life and I want him to receive the best care possible.  I feel completely confident that the doctors at Qliance are the best there is and I gladly recommend Qliance to anyone and everyone.

    Bravo, this place is amazing!

At long last...a primary healthcare provider that actually *wants* to keep you healthy. They take longer-term view of the patient's health, focus on preventative care, and cut out perverse incentives. And the model's pretty revolutionary: no insurance, subscription-based billing, and rock-star physicians. Labs and meds are at-cost.

The facility was new, bright, clean, and I couldn't have been more impressed with Dr. Sacks. I'm going back in next week for a physical (covered in my $64/month subscription).

I have health insurance that barely covers anything and had been so frustrated with my previous doctor. I always felt rushed and like my questions were not answered. So I added Qliance in addition to my health insurance and I love it. My primary doctor is Dr. Morgan, but I've also seen Jennifer Martinson and Cate Withrow. I have received stellar care from all three.

I never feel rushed. They make sure that I feel like they have answered all of my concerns. I can email them for non-urgent issues. I've had no problems making appointments for the next day if I need it.

I have some health insurance through the university, and use it to cover my dentist's visits, and any odd things that happen (like a possible upcoming surgery.) But for primary care, Qliance can't be beat.

I can make an appointment easily, sometimes for the same day I call, if I need it. My doctor responds to my emails, no matter when, and always less than 24 hours from when I first emailed. I feel listened to during my appointments, and get the care that I need. I couldn't be happier.

Just joined Qliance after a few months of researching different healthcare options. Couldn't be happier with my choice. Called them shortly after I joined thinking I would be able to schedule an appointment for a week or so out, but they started recommending times for that afternoon! Met with my new primary care physician the next morning and spent 90 minutes of uninterrupted time with him doing a thorough introductory history and physical and discussing general wellness. I haven't spent that much time with an MD except with an ortho surgeon during knee and ankle reconstruction.
I've been a member of Group Health and Blue Cross over the last 15 years with different employers, for general primary care topics Qliance  blows them out of the water.

Qliance is great for many reasons. The first is that your age group and the level of care you want are the only factors affecting how much you'll pay for care. Second, the amount of care they provide for the low monthly fee is an amazing value and when it comes to health, we've all gotten too used to low quality of care for high cost (or at least that has been my experience). Third, they keep their patient panels low enough that your doctor can actually spend some quality time with you and figure out what is really going on rather than having to make snap decisions and referral after referral.

I am lucky enough to have employer paid insurance and yet I still signed up for Qliance because I like their way of doing business and I've not had success in trying to get to the bottom of my health issues going to the doctors my insurance covers. I've been made to feel like a hypochondriac and have continued to experience symptoms that were affecting my quality of life. Within the first five minutes of meeting Dr. Broyles, she provided two diagnoses that explained every symptom I had been experiencing. Lab tests backed her original assumptions. I've begun treatment and I feel great.  I am so thankful that after 10+ years of seeing other doctors trying to understand why I feel the way I do, I finally have some answers. I'm thankful to Qliance for providing quality doctors and also providing the tools and time for them to be able to provide great care!

Additionally the facilities are great, the front desk and support staff are great and I am sold on the whole idea. I love that this type of clinic exists. It makes healthcare affordable for everyone. How can you not appreciate that?

The other reviews are quite eloquent in their descriptions of all of the merits of Qliance. I cannot say enough good things about them! Our entire family sees Dr. Erika, she is wonderful. My husband's first appointment was 2 hours long...they have evening and weekend appointments. A wonderful facility. My son's vaccinations are free (no additional fees or copays). The monthly fee for our entire family is 1/3 of what we pay for our monthly "catastrophic plan" that has a $5,000 deductible.

I hope that Qliance is what the future of medicine and healthcare looks like- absolutely fabulous. Check them out- you won't be sorry!

Dr. Garrison Bliss, the founder and director of Qliance cared for my father for six years from age 89 to age 95.  The quality of his practice and the high standards of care he exibited were unparalelled.  As a physician myself, specializing in geriatric medicne in California, I identified Dr. Bliss as the physician in Seattle I wanted to care for my own father after a careful search.  He did not disappoint me.  Since then Dr. Bliss and Qliance have taken on the care of other relatives of mine in Seattle and done an equally excellent job.  TWL MD FAAFP

    Updated - 10/1/2008

I have been a patient of Qliance (specifically Dr. Erika Bliss) for little over a year!  I didn't have insurance at the time, and was walking by the Medical/Dental building and saw an a-board advertising a new family practice office and picked up a brochure. I've had chronic kidney problems since I was 14, and at the time desperately needed a doctor but couldn't afford to go. When I read about Qliance's revolutionary way of approaching medicine I was in complete blissful shock!

I immediately made an appointment (Qliance can generally get someone in on very short order) and met Dr. Bliss. She explained how Qliance works... they don't charge insurance because the insurance industry has forced doctors to practically abandon quality patient care. Doctors are rushed, they can usually only bill for one issue per visit, and are so consumed by getting the money from insurance companies that they often forget about the ailing patient in front of them. Qliance puts the money they would spend on insurance administrative costs, and put it back into where it should be - quality patient care. They believe (AND PRACTICE) the philosophy that the patient knows their body the best, and the doctors actually listen to the patient and provide feedback and suggestions. Because appointments are 30 minutes to 1 hour long (or longer if needed) the doctors at Qliance can focus on patient education and pay attention to the whole-patient, aiming to solve the problem, not just the immediate symptoms. At the follow-up from my first appointment (this FLOORED ME!) Dr. Bliss brought research she had done on my condition and gave me a synopsis of what it said. A doctor had actually thought about me not only when I was in front of her, but also between the visits!?!? That's just one of MANY examples that show the level of dedication and care they specialize in at Qliance.

The level of care, the amount of compassion, and the concept of having a voice in my healthcare is priceless to me. I've sent friends to Qliance when they had complicated issues that other doctors brushed aside (and they got answers!); I've sent friends who didn't have insurance and otherwise couldn't afford care, and I'd suggest to anyone who wants a truly unique and amazing healthcare experience to go to Qliance.

I've had the opportunity through the year to visit with most of the doctors (and ANRP's) at Qliance and can attest that every one of them offers the level of care I've talked about. The entire office (from the receptionists to the medical assistants to the billing office) is focused on outstanding customer service. Being someone who can be critical of customer service, I've never once been let down.

Qliance is redefining what good healthcare looks like, and honestly, you just have to experience it to believe it...

I have been a patient of Dr. Bliss for 13 years. On a Saturday I started having severe testicle pain. I called into the after hour line and Dr. Bliss was on the phone in minutes. He had me go to emergency room and was on the phone with the emergency room doctor when I showed up. I had an ultrasound in a matter of a half hour and they discovered testicular cancer. I was able to get into a urologist and in surgery within a day. I have been cancer free since 2006 and might not be here without Qliance

This place blew my mind the day I signed up.  They truly have the kindest front desk staff of any clinic in Seattle--and I've been to my fair share.  The doctors are equally kind and actually spend TIME with you.

But they aren't just nice, they provide a gloriously refreshing alternative to health insurance.  I am happy to feel cared for and proud to be a part of such a great model of health care.

I recommend Qliance for anyone tired of battling insurance companies.  They even welcome chronic illness!
