My husband and I own a small business in Bellevue. My husband doesn't have health insurance, but was recently diagnosed with diabetes and high cholesterol.
Dr. Rick Morgan at Qliance is such a blessing. He has taken a great deal of time with my husband and educated him about diabetes and cholesterol. He is attentive and patient. It's not unusual for an appointment to reach two hours. He remembers little things about you and engages you in conversation.
I have health insurance through my employer and my doctor of 18 years has never asked me a personal question - not once! Dr. Morgan is an incredible doctor. He listens to what is going on with my husband and takes action when needed.
Qliance has been such a gift from God. They go over the cost of the tests, i.e., blood draws so you know upfront how much it's going to cost. They are very aware of the high cost of health care and work to keep their costs low.
I love my husband more than my own life and I want him to receive the best care possible. I feel completely confident that the doctors at Qliance are the best there is and I gladly recommend Qliance to anyone and everyone.
Dr. Wolin is wonderful! She is such a kind and gentle physician with excellent listening skills along with strong clinical knowledge. I brought in a huge list of primary care issues to discuss and we went through each of them in great detail. It was the most comprehensive primary care experience I've ever had and she was so patient listening to my concerns. The practice is beautiful - very clean and beautifully decorated and the staff seem geniunely happy.
I have a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account. Paying the monthly primary care membership fee and having 7 day a week access to truly incredible primary care is so much better than having huge premiums come out of my paycheck.
This is such a better alternative than typically health insurance which costs you hundreds of dollars per month out of your check (whether you use the care or not!) versus a Health Savings Account which rolls over from year to year, allowing you to have a pre-tax health care IRA to use for you and your dependents!
Bravo, this place is amazing!
At long last...a primary healthcare provider that actually *wants* to keep you healthy. They take longer-term view of the patient's health, focus on preventative care, and cut out perverse incentives. And the model's pretty revolutionary: no insurance, subscription-based billing, and rock-star physicians. Labs and meds are at-cost.
The facility was new, bright, clean, and I couldn't have been more impressed with Dr. Sacks. I'm going back in next week for a physical (covered in my $64/month subscription).
I have been a patient of Qliance (specifically Dr. Erika Bliss) for little over a year! I didn't have insurance at the time, and was walking by the Medical/Dental building and saw an a-board advertising a new family practice office and picked up a brochure. I've had chronic kidney problems since I was 14, and at the time desperately needed a doctor but couldn't afford to go. When I read about Qliance's revolutionary way of approaching medicine I was in complete blissful shock!
I immediately made an appointment (Qliance can generally get someone in on very short order) and met Dr. Bliss. She explained how Qliance works... they don't charge insurance because the insurance industry has forced doctors to practically abandon quality patient care. Doctors are rushed, they can usually only bill for one issue per visit, and are so consumed by getting the money from insurance companies that they often forget about the ailing patient in front of them. Qliance puts the money they would spend on insurance administrative costs, and put it back into where it should be - quality patient care. They believe (AND PRACTICE) the philosophy that the patient knows their body the best, and the doctors actually listen to the patient and provide feedback and suggestions. Because appointments are 30 minutes to 1 hour long (or longer if needed) the doctors at Qliance can focus on patient education and pay attention to the whole-patient, aiming to solve the problem, not just the immediate symptoms. At the follow-up from my first appointment (this FLOORED ME!) Dr. Bliss brought research she had done on my condition and gave me a synopsis of what it said. A doctor had actually thought about me not only when I was in front of her, but also between the visits!?!? That's just one of MANY examples that show the level of dedication and care they specialize in at Qliance.
The level of care, the amount of compassion, and the concept of having a voice in my healthcare is priceless to me. I've sent friends to Qliance when they had complicated issues that other doctors brushed aside (and they got answers!); I've sent friends who didn't have insurance and otherwise couldn't afford care, and I'd suggest to anyone who wants a truly unique and amazing healthcare experience to go to Qliance.
I've had the opportunity through the year to visit with most of the doctors (and ANRP's) at Qliance and can attest that every one of them offers the level of care I've talked about. The entire office (from the receptionists to the medical assistants to the billing office) is focused on outstanding customer service. Being someone who can be critical of customer service, I've never once been let down.
Qliance is redefining what good healthcare looks like, and honestly, you just have to experience it to believe it...
