I didn't know where to look in Marin for a facial, so I turned to Yelp. Thankfully, Yelpers pointed me towards Kelly! She offers a great facial at a reasonable price (ESPECIALLY compared to Marin...$225 for a FACIAL?).
She was very friendly, used quality products, and best of all, recommended a skin care regimen for me that I could actually follow. I've been following her advice for the past two weeks and my skin has so noticeably cleared that my friends have commented. I don't even live in Marin anymore, but I will make sure to make the trek next time I want a facial! -

This was the most horrifying experience!!!! i went for a brazilian and the first thing she said was did i tell you to trim? assuming that the waxer would trim for me considering im paying you for a service i hadnt trimmed, and where i had gotten waxed before they had their own trimmer, so she replied with, "oh, well then its gonna hurt more." and did a lousy trim job with some scissors. then as the waxing began i noticed she didnt put any gloves on and used the same stick the entire time, double dipping!!! im surprised i didnt get ripped because the whole time she never held my skin taught and was using her entire body to rip strips off my hoo-ha. also, i asked for a triangle, and what i received was a blob, with strays everywhere. and to top it off there were three huge globs of wax left over in my remaining hair. that is not normal!!! i never realized how good i had it at my regular waxer until i bought this living social deal. i will never ever cheat on her again! spare yourself the trauma and stay for away!

I bought a living social deal for waxing- eyebrow & lip & bikini. I had my eyebrows & lip done first & found out that Kelly uses strip wax on your face! Yeeks! I was picking off pieces of wax off my face later that day then realized that i was left with a red patch above my lip where the skin was ripped off as well. i called Kelly & told her as I have always used soft bikini wax for all delicate areas. She only uses strip wax for all areas! Ouch... I cxld my future bikini wax & received a credit with Living social.

Kelly does a really good job! Having moved here recently I really didn't know who to choose for a facial and I am glad that I found Kelly (thanks Yelpers!). Kelly is quite personable and doesn't ruin the peaceful vibe you get during the facial by trying to sell you stuff at the end of your treatment. I also had my eyebrows done for the first time and I am now a convert, even my husband said they looked great. I will be going back for more!

Kelly took me at the last minute before my honeymoon when the woman who normally does my bikini waxes came down with a stomach bug. (Kelly saved me because our honeymoon is in Oahu and the bikini wax was not optional.) Even though I have very sensitive skin, the waxing did not hurt a bit and the results were stunning.

Kelly is very nice, however I would never ever recommend her waxing services to anyone. I had a brazilian done and she expects you to clean up your own strays. The reason I have my area professionally done is because I cannot see the area fully on my own. There were very large areas that she skipped completely and she seemed rushed to get me out of her office. When i got home and checked with a mirror I was horrified! There were so many stray hairs left I could have gotten another wax instead of trying to clean it up on my own. HORRIBLE!

First off, thanks Kelly for not being peeved with me when my work schedule changed and I had to re-schedule the morning of my original appt.
She did a thorough job, no strays! And I specially liked that she took it slow and steady with my eyebrows, because once you take off one hair too many you can't put it back on (read my Great Clips review... I'm still traumatized by that experience!). Husband wants me to mention that usually when I get waxed, my face is red for the rest of the day, but he says that with Kelly, there are no signs of irritation... Maybe this has to do with the natural products?
Cash or check only my friends! But there is a drive-thru BofA ATM a block down : D -

Kelley rocked! She worked around my strange schedule, was sweet as can be and left my skin all glowy and happy. This was the first time I ever let anyone do extractions on me (mostly because I didn't know she was going to do it) and I was expecting it to leave my super fair skin all red and blotchy, but to my amazment, I had no such issue. My skin looked as good as can be.

Kelly is amazing. My skin was a hot mess. She got me in the same day I called. Her facial rocked! She was kind, considerate, and had a great energy. She didn't criticize my choice of product, nor did she push anything on me. In fact, I asked her if she had any suggestions and she gave me samples. A nice change from so many who use your appt as a sales pitch. Get a facial from this woman!

I wish there were more stars to give because Kelly deserves a million! Overall experience is heavenly... From the first step into her treatment room is the start of a mini vacation! Such a calming and comfortable atmosphere. She gives the BEST facials and my waxing experience is always comfortable. My mom has also had a facial from her and LOVED it! Unfortunately she doesn't live here and can't see Kelly often enough. I also send my boyfriend to her to clean up his eyebrows and they always look GREAT! I don't know what I would do if I had to find a new esthetician. Kelly has really raised the bar and it would be impossible to find anyone as excellent as her!!!

Being blessed with, er, Sicilian eyebrows, I've become a regular here for eyebrow waxing. Before my first visit, I was afraid that I'd need to bring a bottle of whiskey with me to take a swig off of after each section of stray hair was removed (Hello, I am a wuss. How are you?)...but to my surprise, it didn't hurt! Kelly knows her stuff, and she will treat you like an old friend even if she's just met you.

Kelly is the only person I will go to for bikini waxing. I have really sensitive skin and have tried other salons without much success. With Kelly, I am always pleased with the results. She is extremely professional and an expert at waxing. Plus, her warm, friendly personality puts you completely at ease!

Kelly rocks my world. I first came to her as a waxing client, which she is excellent at. Then when my skin flipped out, I broke down and started getting a monthly facial. To be truthful, I doubted that it would make a difference, but after two months of treatments my skin is almost back to normal. This girl knows her stuff AND she is reasonably priced, making her a true gem.

Kelly has an amazing touch and great energy! I have had a few facials and waxing services from Kelly and have been happy every time. I love Emenence, the skin care line she uses. It is organic and smells amazing! Kelly gives a great holistic facial, not only will your skin feel and look great, your whole body will feel relaxed and rejuvenated!

Kelly is fantastic! I went in for an eyebrow/lip wax and I can easily say it was the best I have ever had. She took her time to shape and clean up my brows so well. Besides my eyebrows looking so much better for a very affordable price, the best part is that she is so fun, down to earth, and easy to talk to that you forget how bad waxing hurts! Thanks Kelly!

This hidden gem in San Rafael is worth discovering! Whether it is a facial, massage or wax, Kelly is, by far, the most natural and talented esthetician I have encountered. She is reasonably priced, attentive, knowledgable and has excellent follow-up. Her products are all natural/holistic and you really do feel a difference after a visit. Thumbs way up--I give it my highest recommendation.

i will be honest- i don't take the best care of my skin. i happened to be blessed with the skin genetics of a greek goddess, BUT..... even goddesses need a little touching up here and there. i received a gift certificate for a facial at Q'Essence and i'm STILL reaping the rewards. Kelly is AMAZING! her practice is conveniently located in San Rafael, right off the freeway with tons of parking- which makes anything that much better. the first thing i noticed when i entered her treatment room was the smell- delicious natural fragrances, it immediately put this skeptic at ease and made me want to buy everything in site. i had a facial where she treated some very un-goddess like irritation under my eyes and they were immediately soothed and looked 10 times better. she also did some arm and hand massage that relaxed me into a near coma. i sprung for an arm wax as well as some of the amazing natural products she has for sale. i tend to ALWAYS wear makeup, but after my facial i looked in the mirror (makeup free) and said to Kelly- "holy crap, i look pretty!". city dwellers, make the trip out to san rafale, it's more than worth it (probably less expensive than any place in the marina or downtown and that includes gas and bridge toll). Kelly you're a magician!!!! hope to see you soon.
