My cat is completely anti-social.  I thought for sure he was going to flip out on these groomers but he didnt.  He wasnt even traumatized.  He comes home, comes out of his carrier and its business as usual.  I was shocked!  I love how he smells so yummy and soft!  its completely worth the price in my mind.  Now he gets pampered once every other month.  He comes home with a bandana around his neck and acts like its normal.  When I try to put anything like that on him, he wants nothing to do with it.  I wanna know what kinda treats they give him to make him act like such a good boy...

Almost everyone who works here is REALLY overly NICE.. It is almost kind of annoying, but nice to be sucked up to.... Meow Meow

I give the store a BLAH...

    1. This store is great for emergencies when I need cat or dog food OR TREATS, but I do prefer Chuck and Toby's for treats if their open. (on park and 2ndish near the ally)

    2. One employee was really nice and made my dog a yummy raw food treat that he went bonk bonk over. He says Yummmmmmmy! (FREE)

    3. Toys, food, and all the other shit is really over priced. I did find a good priced Halloween costume for my dog though. Only like $25 (pretty damn good for the  quality)

    4. Uhhhh... They have cute dog clothes, but over priced...

5..... Yawn.... I wish there was an amazing priced pet store on 2nd.

We spend way too much money here...

Every time we're in the area, I have to stop in with the baby.  We are greeted EVERY time with a resounding, "HI DOBBY!!!"  They may not know my name, but they always remember my dog's.  :)

We've had chicken nuggets at the Paw Bar, and Dobby ate them like they were going out of style.  We've purchased a variety of sweaters here.  The prices are not cheap, but they have cute styles and we can try them on.  I've bought more expensive items on the internet and then find they are either too big or too small.  I'd rather pay the price Pussy and Pooch charges and have the clothes fit properly.

No one has ever been rude or anything but welcoming, friendly, and helpful.  Just this week, we were the only dog (customer) in the store, and Dobby was encouraged to run around freely to explore and sniff out the area.  He had a great time and we left with some wonderful purchases.

We've also been to their vaccination clinic.  That's where we got micro-chipped and everything!

They shaved my dog and it is a mess.  There are patches of uncut fur everywhere.  There's no tapering at his head or legs.   Waste of money, I will never go back!

Their stuff is cool (I guess) but you could find it at any swapmeet for WAY cheaper.  I was not going to spend $75 on a dog collar!!! Ridiculously over priced and probably won't need to buy anything from there again.

Cool little indie-pop pet store that carries Orijen brand dog food... in general, a little on the expensive side but well worth it for unique/niche items that are pretty sweet.  There is a white rolled leather collar ($65) that I'm going to pick up when my puppy is full grown... if I don't find one for cheaper on the internet before then =).....

    O ya, yelp stuff....

Service was good, I walked in, asked about the food, and the guy was nice and asked me about my puppy and my history with dogs and I looked around a little bit.  All in all it was a good experience, he tried to sell me some overpriced natures miracle but no biggie...  I'm going to go back because we like the food and I havent figured out a cheaper place to get it yet... and I really want that collar, its freakin nice and will look good on my Vizsla.  I kinda just went in and out and dont have any experience with any other of their services, but I hope this helps.

MEH !! This place just isn't that great , it is too expensive (I have seen merchandise at other retailers for a lot less) , the employees are very rude and seem to watch your every move . I also didn't feel it was very dog friendly , usually when i walk into a pet store they greet my dog first or even acknowledge my dog ,but here nothing .
All  in all this place just isn't great or even good , i recommend the little pet shop just around  the  corner .

They have one of the friendly staff there and for the most part they have all answered my questions and been super helpful...they have the coolest pet supplies, food, collars, leashes, etc...they even have a fancy pants pet bar with baked goods and treats...
It's the creme de la creme for your pets...pricey but sometimes it's worth it...My Presley gets groomed here now...Megan is his groomer and she's done a great job with him so far...he also is using the buddy belt and the leash from here...so far we're both happy with our purchase...although I'm looking into getting a longer leash or possibly a leash extension if they have it here...we'll be back after my trip for a grooming

Hello! My name is Nikita, I'm a Cat, a 13 yr old male part Maine Coon, to be exact.

I blog, have done so since 2002, & have had my own blog for well over a year, & am Orange County's Premiere Cat Blogger.

This is my 2nd review, on Yelp, & I believe I'm the first Cat to post a review of P & P, & probably the first Dog, too.

My review, as you shall see, is based on first paw experience, an edited version of a much longer blog review of a very busy day. ;-D

I'm a Stroller Kitty, & last Dec Daddy took me by bus to this store.

It's a fascinating place, & the Humans were cool, but let me start at the beginning...

The employees remembered Daddy from his last visit in the Summer, & the owner was there.

At their insistence that it was perfectly fine, if Daddy thought I wouldn't freak out, for me to get out of the Stroller, & explore my new surroundings, he unzipped the back flap.

From the moment we entered the place my whiskers were twitching, & my ears perkerd up, & my tail was raised, in great curiosity at all the different sites, & smells, that confronted me.

There was so much to see that I hardly knew where to begin!

Janene Zakrajsek, Petreprenuer, & owner, encouraged Daddy to let me case the joint, & so I set out to do just that!

I took a look at the shelves of Premium, Natural & Organic, Cat foods, & Supplement, & treats,  from brands not familiar to us even from the big chain stores, the shelves of collars, leashes, & toys, from feather toys, balls, & Catnip toys, to things I'd never dreamed of, some a bit pricy, but all sure to pique any discerning Cats curiosity.

Then I saw the Pet beds, pet blankets, & Cat Towers, & immediatey made for some shelves on the other side of the room, past some of the cool looking, to Dogs I'm sure, Doggie Stuff.

They have lots of Doggie Stuff, far more than they do Cat Stuff, but the shear joy of being able to explore a place like this makes up for it for any Cat into such adventuring.

As the website says these stores are quite the experiece, for Human, & animal.

"Bouncy toys, tantalizing treats, stylish pet fashion & accessories for sassy bitches & hipster hounds, plus visually aesthetic modern pet furniture are just some of the fun indulgences Pussy & Pooch has to offer. From organic grooming & spa products, to stylish beds & carriers for your pooch or pussycat, P&P truly has something for everyone!"

I was immediately attracted to a certain, expensive, 5 piece set of tower furniture for Cats, & spent a lot of comfortable, safe place, alone time, on this shelf high off the floor, surveying my surroundings, especially when more Humans came, brought shopping by their Dogs. ;-D

I may have arthritis, but I can still climb when the curiosity demands it! ;-D

I was so at home in the thing that any thought of hopping back into my Pussycat Purrrrambulator, my Feline Utility Vehicle (FUV), had completely slipped my mind. ;-D

Alas, it will be a while before Daddy will be able to afford getting even 1 set, being unemployed, and all.

Janene tempted me out, & back onto the floor, with a feather toy.

I forgot to mention that, when we arrived we were not only greeted by the Humans, but also by Marley.

Marley is a 3 year old Pappilon, Chihuahua Mix, who is the official Supplement SpokesDog.

Marley is a very excitable, & chatty, sort, given to constantly wagging the tail in your face, while running in circles, if you are standing close by.

I'm not into the whole Inter-species Butt Sniffing Scene, since I've never been out where I could indulge if so inclined, & Marley didn't seem to be either.

We didn't talk to each other only because I was too intent on exploring, & Marley kept telling the Humans there was Cat in the building, which they already knew, obviously, silly Mutt. ;-D

Daddy set me on the counter of the Pawbar, & I was offered the chance to sample some Premium Chicken, on the House!

But I was too excited to be hungry.

They sell raw, dehydrated, & freeze-dried diets in addition to traditional kibble & canned diets, but the Pawbar is something altogether unique.

As the website explains: "With custom seating for up to three canines at once, the Pawbar offers the ideal services for modern (and hungry) urban pets."

But it's also for Cats, too, if there are any brave enough to venture in to the stores with their Human! ;-D

Like the Stores, the Pawbar is an award winning place to see, & be seen, & been mentioned in all sorts of local media, print, & electronic.

You can visit the P & P website, & see various videos, & reviews, on their Press Page.

Since Spring 2011 this store alternates with the LA one in hosting monthly Meow Mingle events where Cats can bring their Humans, & everyone can network & learn all sorts of cool things.

I'll add a few pictures to go with this review. ;-D

I should first acknowledge that I am a man who gets his cat haircuts. I think that probably makes my opinion less valid to most normal people but...

I had avoided P&P due to the name. Just kinda hated it. After a bad PetCo "Cat-Cut" I opted to try out P&P.

I really couldn't be happier. They were super kind in talking with me beforehand and indulging most of my "crazy cat guy" musings.

And when I picked her up, I was amazed. They took the tim (and probably, pain) to give her a really nice haircut. She looks adorable (and less weasel-like than after other cuts).

The price was spot-on (maybe 70 for a Deluxe Cut, Nails, etc), and the people couldn't have been cooler.

While I might suggest a branding change at some point, this really is the only place I'll go now, and I'd highly recommend to anyone.

My dog Sarah loves this store and the employees. Every time we walk by she practically pulls me in just to say hi to everyone. Besides the fact that my dog loves it in here (Which is actually kind of crazy since she also gets groomed here.) I enjoy it. The look and feel of the store is modern and closer to my interests than a normal pet store. The employees all know my dog by name and are educated on the products they have. They have some great products that you can't find anywhere else.

I read some other reviews that say things like, "I thought it was going to be really expensive but it's not." and I thought the same thing. I guess we just aren't used to something as simple as pet supply's being done in such a stylish way. They do have some expensive items because they are hand made or "limited" but they also have inexpensive great quality items. Last time I was there I got a plain black sweatshirt (My dog only wears black and red.) on sale for under $9. That's pretty good. They also worked with me and taught me about food so I could find a really good food at the price I wanted. The employee even told me that if I lived closer to a different pet store he would help me find a good food at that store to ensure Sarah was eating well.... needless to say I don't go to a different store. How could I? I get treated really good here.

I'm a long time pet lover, but fairly new pet-owner. My dog had her first b-day this past weekend, so I thought it would be fun to take her to this pet salon and give her a full spa treatment. I'm not usually the type of person who spends tons of money on their pet, but since it was my dog's 1st birthday, I decided it would be fun to take her to someplace fancier than Petco.

Pussy & Pooch was perfect! A little intimidating when I first walked in, but the staff quickly made me feel welcome. They have all kinds of fancy foods, toys, clothes, leashes and other items. The store/salon has a very trendy look to it. Clean and organized. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly. An absolute joy to talk to.

They sell all kinds of high quality, grain-free foods. They also have the Pawbar, which is a small bar specifically for pets. You can order various entrees for your pet, which are artfully plated and look very fancy. Almost like a small entree you'd expect to see at some posh, upscale restaurant.

It took them over 2 hours since she needed to be dematted and shaved. But they did an excellent job of cleaning her and making her look cute. They bathed her, trimmed her nails, brushed her teeth. I think there might have also been a massage at some point. (Now that I think about it, the dog gets treated better than I do). And to finish it off, they tied a green bandanna around her neck, probably since it was close to St. Patty's day.

Before I left, I also purchased a small eclair pastry that is specially made for pets by Three Dog Bakery. She loved it!

The only two minor issues I have with this place would be the parking situation. There's no private lot, so you'll have to either find metered parking on the street, for look for empty curb spaces down the residential neighborhood. Secondly, this place can get a bit pricey, depending on what you're buying.

Overall, it's a great place to have your pet groomed and pampered.

I was a little hesitant to have my puppy groomed here, mainly because they seemed like they might be really expensive, and that they might keep trying to sell me their products.  Boy was I wrong!  In fact, the guy that helped me out while the other girl took my puppy in to get started was very informative and didn't try to get me to buy their products.  He told me what brands and their lines are best because of their 7 main ingredients and what to have my puppies chew on to help keep their teeth clean.  He even told me what I could pick up from the butchers/market if I don't buy their product!  That would have saved me a LOT of money.  So in the end I bought a few bully sticks from them, I know it's not much, but it is still more than what I planned to buy, which was nothing!

My puppy came out smelling really good, they even put some sort of a sunblock on him?  My problem with other groomers (specifically the ones owned by Korean ladies) is that they never trim my puppies fur right.  They always look funny when I pick them up.  The puppy I brought in is a Papillon, and they are known for their "butterfly" ears that has fur flowing down the side of their faces.  Well, the Korean ladies ALWAYS... and I mean ALWAYS... trim his ear fur really short even though I point to their ears, shake my finger, and say, "NO CUT".  Drives me nuts!

Bottom line is, I would come here again definitely, you definitely get what you pay for, they're friendly and informative, not too expensive and they KNOW how to groom your pets!

"Lucy, no!" If only I had a nickel every time I had to yell this. My dog is impulsive, stubborn, and oh how she loves to leave her mark everywhere she goes. She's a lot like me.

We were taking a stroll down 2nd Street and went in to Pussy and Pooch.  To be more honest Lucy was picking fights with any and every dog that would come near. I was tired of having to apologize for her taking snips at all the other friendly well-behaved dogs. "Lucy, no!"

What a cool store! Lots of colorful, imaginative accessories and products for your beloved pet. I needed a new harness for Lucy and I was about to check out the super-cute leashes on display when Lucy thought it would be cool to pee on the area rug in the middle of the store. "Lucy, no!"

It was also a chilly night and Lucy had been shivering. I still had not got her a winter sweater. Chihuahuas need their warmth. So I asked if they had anything in yet.  The super helpful salesperson finished cleaning up Lucy's mess and then went in the back to bring me a new hoodie. It was perfect for her. She loved it and I got a free sample of chicken soup for dogs.

Lucy was so happy and warm. She didn't mind greeting an adorable shitzu who had come in with her owner. The dogs sniffed, tails wagged and for a fleeting moment I thought maybe Lucy had made a new friend. Then Lucy growled and lunged. "Lucy, no!"

In addition to all the merchandise they offer services like cleaning and grooming, there's lots of tasty treats for sale too.

Thank you James, and your helpful staff...we'll be back and I hope Lucy behaves.

I was hesitant about going here with the last few reviews but I read into the bad reviews and it seems silly to vote a store 1 star and only give a 2 sentence review. "not enough cat stuff" "isn't that great"  lol and don't get me started on the "Buddy Belt" review, knee slapper.
Given that a lot of people with pets are nuts I can understand some of the off the wall comments but do not agree with them.
I walked in and I WAS greeted and complemented on my Bearded Collie. They had a bunch of dog treats starting at 25 cents up to about 1.50 per piece. They had all kinds of fairly expensive leashes and what nots. The place has "Pethouse" in the title so I expected to find things I would just not ever buy. Every one seemed nice enough and more knowledgeable then say PetCo.
The reason I went here was to groom my dog. NOTE! You must make an appointment if you want your dog groomed!!! So I talked to the groomer, Megan, told her what I wanted done. She was not as bubbly as the other employees but seemed to know a lot about grooming.
When I came back my Beardie looked amazing but there was an extra charge. I was charged $10 for dematting but I was told the first 15 mins were free and I know I do suck at brushing my dog as much as I should and Megan did call me beforehand to let me know about his.
Over all I was happy and I will return. They didn't get 5 stars because even though I don't have a cat, I made it a point to check out this "nonexistent" cat selection. There was plenty of different foods and cat needs but not as many toys as for the dogs.

My wife and I saw this place as we were going to Lucille's right next door.  We took our pup here for the grooming and she absolutely loved it.  She came out smelling like PEZ! :)
We have a Chihuahua, Dachshund, Pug mix and she gets a lot of tear stains because her eyes are pug eyes and drain a lot, they actually got the tear stains out from her little face.  The grooming is fair priced, about the same as when we used to take her to the vet groomer.  Plus, this is much better, because she knows the vet and would be scared thinking she was gunna get a shot...
They carry a lot of high end food and clothes and accessories in general, they also have fresh baked dog treats.  Some of the things, like the dog houses and cat scratchers are really high priced, but all in all a really nice place.  They treat the animals really well and the staff has always been very friendly.

The place really deserves a 5 star for this reason:  they've been the best groomer I've taken my dog to out of approximately 6 different groomers.

His hair cut was right, it was even (that didn't always happen!)  and they were quick. He didn't seem too stressed or freaked when I picked him up.

The place is cute, clean and the staff was friendly. Out of all the groomers I've been to, they were the only ones who asked for proof of his being utd on shots  (which, though he is, isn't always easy to prove. do you have your records handy?)

I didn't get a chance to check out their merch or prices but the place was clean and organized.

The price for grooming was average/fair. I did find a 15% discount for new clients which I was. and of course, after I mentioned that discount, the total was on the higher end of the quote. funny how that always seems to be the case.

But we'll go back and we'll reco the place.

I was excited about this place when I read about it in LA weekly, visitied their website and read other yelp reviews. Upon calling them, the guy whom I asked questions to was RUDE and turned me off to my visit.
When asked about the Pawbar Cafe (dog restaurant as advertised on their website), he said "No we don't have a restaurant", so I asked "You have food right?", he replied "yup." "What kind of food?", he retorted "whatever you want." When asked if they had grooming services he said "yup", so I asked again "So you have grooming today?" He said "Nope." I mean wtf?? I asked for the manager and he said "I am the manager." I said I wanted to make sure these services were available prior to making a trip to them and he said "If you want to find out more, just come to the store and check it out." After that RUDE treatment??? I think NOT!!

This place has the absolute best customer service. There are quite a few expensive items in the store which I often pass by because, honestly, my dogs don't need a $30 toy to destroy in a couple of hours.

But they have a great selection of vitamins and nutrients for dogs that can help from UTIs to itchy skin. These items are hard to find in a normal pet store and your vet will charge you an arm and a leg for it (even more then this place).

I LOVE the pet bar which is sweetly designed for both animals and humans. Theres holes cut into the bottom of the bar with ramps leading up to them and little doggy dishes in each section. You can order frozen yogurt, burgers, and other treats. I like to bring the dogs by after we've visited Dog Beach on a hot day and gets them some frozen yogurt. I also normally pick up a deer antler for them which lasts months and they love it. $20 for an antler or $50 in the long run on raw hides.... hmmmm.

I haven't used the grooming services before, but I have had my dogs nails trimmed and I'm very impressed. They come out with clean nails and aren't afraid of the person that just did them. Normally my dogs are petrified of anyone who's clipping their nails or cleaning their ears.

If you want to spoil your pet then this is definitely the place to go.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon in July because I wanted some shampoo for my hairless cat. I saw the store on my walk down 2nd street and thought it looked unique enough to carry unique animal products. It doesn't. All the shampoo was for dogs only. There was a tiny cat section, and the rest of the store was for dog beds. There was nothing unique about this store and no one even came up to me to offer help - and the place was empty!

Excellent customer service over the phone and in person. I called before coming in to see if they had the SleepyPod Air and asked if I could come in with my dog to try it out. I'm a big fan of more modern pet stores with higher end quality items (I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for!). Came in, the store was very cute, good selection of items. Was helped immediately with what I called for and the guy who helped me was great and wasn't fake. I even got a free groom voucher with my purchase so I'll definitely be back in to get my girl fixed up. And maybe next time we'll try the Paw Bar too!

This is honestly one of the best designed, laid out, and branded stores in Long Beach. That sounds weird to you right? But that is what struck me first, "OMG, this is SO well done". The entire brand shines in the shopping experience as well. The staff is warm and inviting for humans and their pets, and their selection is awesome.

So far, my dog is loving the organic treats we bought, and his new toys. Maybe this is what happens when you don't have kids, you spend your weekends shopping at Pussy and Pooch, taste testing organic dog treats for your 9 pound chihuahua.

Oh well, this place is great, and a welcome addition to 2nd Street.

Super fun staff and a really cute pet boutique to stop in if you have a cat or dog. Downside pretty expensive.

I was SOOO excited to find out that Pussy & Pooch was opening a location in Long Beach.  I loved their LA store but it was a bit far for a casual trip.  They are finally here and I love it!  The people that work there are amazing!  They really love animals!  And it seems like they really love their job too.  I love coming here with my pug.  They treat all dogs that go to the store like they are special guests.  I love it!

They have a great supply of high quality foods and supplements.  Finally, a store nearby that sells Tiki Cat!  They have cool collars, leashes and clothing (for pets, of course!).  They also have, without a doubt, some of the coolest dog beds I've seen.  Their prices are on the high side however you get what you pay for and everything there is of top quality.

Go to Pussy & Pooch for your pussy and/or pooch.  I promise that you'll want to go back again and again!  I can't wait for them to bring in a groomer.  I'm looking forward to getting my pug spoiled there for a spa day.  Also am looking forward to attending one of their Mutt Mingles.

Go to Pussy & Pooch and make sure they stay in the neighborhood.  Your pets will thank you!

I love this place.  I have a mixed-breed dog, a rescue, and we get his groomed at P&P.  The prices for grooming are very reasonable.  The first time we took him, we couldn't believe how gorgeous he looked.  I wasn't sure it was even our dog.  Our little guy, Mango, has had some traumatic vet experiences since we started going to P&P, so we are having to work through his new fears of having someone touch him, and the staff there have been great.  They know him by name, and they are super patient with him.  He never quite comes out looking as great as the first time, but that is because we usually have to modify the routine because his a too stressed.  In any case, we sure appreciate the groomers and the staff here.  Their selection of treats is unrivaled, and so far, their customer service has been great.

This place is super cute.  I loved their set up and their services offered.  They also carry a lot of good quality pet products.

I loved their selection of doggy "sweets".  They looked good enough for ME to eat!  Loved the way the treats were decorated.

I also saw they sold "beer" for dogs!  It was called Bowser Beer.  I will be buying this for my girl soon.  She better like it!  B---h is spoiled.  ; )

I liked this place so much, next time I'm in the area I'll actually buy something.  Hate being broke!!!

This place is very modern and chic, something you would expect and demand from the gentrified area of Belmont Shores.

The people that work here aren't your crazy pet store people. They won't sit there and look dreamily into your eyes and ask you if Mr. Fluffy is a Gemini or Cancer, where he likes to be tickled, and his funny and memorable moments. They aren't pushy and they don't try to sell you on the $150 sparkling water cat fountain resplendent with rhinestones and l.e.d. lights.

This store sells high quality pet accouterments for people with fur children. The customer service as previously mentioned is great. I will make the trip back to Pussy and Pooch when my cats are behaving.

Today we made our first trip to Pussy & Pooch with our little pooch, Bruin. I walked in and immediately saw that this place had character with the grass box & hydrant right outside the store for the patron's (of the canine sort) bathroom needs. The decor is modern and they have a lot of the trendier items- clothing, leashes, grooming products, etc.

What we enjoyed best was the PAWBAR. As we stood looking at what Bruin would enjoy most off of the menu a team member assisted us in our final selection- lamb nuggets with a side of dog "beer". She thoroughly explained to us everything that was included in Bruin's little treat. I don't think I've ever seen him gobble anything so quickly! He really enjoyed his meal- it was as if he had never been fed!

The same team member was extremely knowledgeable about the food sold. She helped us pick out a new dry food and suggested a popular wet food as well. Additionally, she suggested that we purchase a can of pumpkin for our dog in the case that his stomach was too sensitive for the diet change.

Although I definitely appreciate this hip store geared solely toward pleasing my little man, I think the biggest testament to this store is it's employees vast knowledge about the products they sell and their obvious passion towards it's animal patrons.

These people are so amazing. I was too busy to buy dog food and they were kind enough to ring it up on my card and BRING IT TO MY APARTMENT! I know that's not the usual, but I really appreciated it. What was so great was, when I called, they knew my dog's names and what food they ate. It means a lot that they care so much.

I can't make this stuff up, people....

How could I forget the treats! He also got treats, and since of course 'Soy' is vegetarian, they had veggie treats for her! And she loves them!

It funny cause we had a friend come visit. She brought her dog, 'Noodle' well she is finicky about treats but she loves these also! So great pick on that and look forward to going back!

This is one of those ridiculous places where bored people with lots of money can entertain themselves by spending a lot of money on their pets. Ridiculous in nature but let's move on...

I ended up here because we had two dirty little dogs who needed their fur trimmed. The dogs were NOT pleased when we picked them up, but luckily they aren't the ones writing the review.

I was greeted immediately upon walking in, and both employees were smiling and friendly. Both dogs were clean, trimmed, and had a pleasant but not overpowering smell that stuck around for at least another day. It was $80 to groom the pair, which is reasonable, and they provided a report on the dog's behavior and anything they noticed.

I'm not normally in the area, but I would recommend this place to anyone who is.

Not only did I run in 15 mins before they closed just to get food, they were so helpful that they ended up helping me way past closing time without rushing or making me feel like they needed to go home. Sarah was sooo helpful with my dog who hates any harness. She took the time to give me some tips on the wacky walkr leash and I ended with not only with the food I needed but a beautiful new harness and leash. I felt like I received Nordstrom customer service. Amazing service!

honestly i avoided pussy and pooch for quite a while do to the name alone.  i was also under the impression that everything was very high end and high priced with out ever stepping foot inside the store.

what i found was this:   yes, they do have fancier toys than my pup needs...and better shampoo than i use on myself.

what i am so impressed with is extremely high quality food at very reasonable prices.  much cheaper than petco for much better food.   the clerks are beyond helpful and friendly, regardless of what you are looking for.   a great example of their pricing is pee pee pads.  as the owner of a 12 week puppy i am buying them constantly.   i was paying $15.00 for 15 pads at petco and here i can get a pack of 15 pads for $9.00.  and these pads don't leak!
