Sure, there are a few stores in and around DC to get high end kids's fashions. But a consignment boutique for children? Really? Sure! It is in Old Town at Purple Goose.
You can find hot clothing items here like Morgan & Milo shoes, Aunt Polly clothing and Robeez. There is certainly a wide variety of stuff here to sort through. I have found great girl's clothes here as well as some of my maternity wear.
TIP: Although they bill themselves as a consignment store, Purple Goose also sells new items at top price. So, look carefully!
I love, love, love this store! Definitely a great spot to find deals on quality items and also to peruse the new cute stuff! They have a seemingly endless supply of bows, headbands, and ribbons for those of us with daughters who enjoy dressing up.
When your kid grows an inch a month- you feel just silly spending a fortune on making them look as cute as possible. But, in " Eat your cake and have it too" Land you can find high end clothing cheap. Oillilly, Hanah Anderson, cute little Polo shirts, and funky european brands are what I bought last time I was here. Thank you Old Town Alexandria, for YOUR impeccable taste. My kids thank you too.
