Pecan Turtle.
Go here.
Order some.
Go home.
Sit on couch.
Eat.
This pecan turtle is the best thing I've eaten all year.
I am not even a big chocolate eater.
These pecan turtles were awesome.
You really must try it! -

I tried the confectioners claim to fame, the P2C2. Although I think many restaurants, bakeries, and candy stores mess up the balance between sweet and savory, they do a good job with this chocolate.
I bought some oreo bark for a relative and I received positive reviews. The service inside the establishment is friendly and they'll always give you free samples.
Admittedly, the prices here are fairly steep, but it's worth it for a treat or gift for a loved one. -

I ordered P2C2 from this company after hearing all sorts of amazing reviews from friends on the east coast. It was a splurge for sure, but with the added cost of shipping ($11.50) the price shot to outrageous. I decided to go for it anyways, because everything I heard from friends and read online made it sound like this chocolate was worth it.
The chocolate arrived in a timely fashion and was carefully packed. But the product itself was greasy and unsatisfying. Save your money and spend it on something else! If you are looking for a chocolate like P2C2, try a Nestle Crunch bar. -

I stopped by here for the first time the other day to pick up something for my mom's birthday. They have all kinds of truffles from ordinary - espresso, hazelnut, - to unusual - rose (I had one, and it really tasted like roses, maybe to odd for me), green tea, and lavender. They also have a selection of wine truffles, solid chocolates, truffle bars, drinking chocolate (teh bar or you can get a hot cup)...all yummy and ready to devour.
I also purchased some chocolate cover potato sticks that looks a bit like fudge filled with sticks. I didn't try it but I am awaiting on a report from my mother. i also got a free sample of their frosted brownie which was incredibly good. Not too sweet, and that's a nice change as some shops kill you with sugar.
They also hand dip fruit and can get you any fruit you request. If it's out of season, call ahead so they can get the produce you want. Stop in anytime you need a sweet gift or you want to treat yourself. Very helpful staff, nice selection and she thanked me for my business. Parking is a little tough - right on the corner across from the Dunkin Donuts on Franklin - but you can usually find something on one side or the other. -

Amazing hot chocolate. The brownies are great too. Great selection, super-friendly people working there.
The only downside I can think of is the parking. I live literally less than a block from there, so it's not an issue but it's on a very busy main drag- you might have to park a bit further up (or down, depending) on Franklin. It's worth the trip though, especually for chocolate freaks like myself!!Listed in: Quincy favorites!

For starters, I am surprised this quaint little place doesn't have more reviews than this by now. I love stopping by Pure Chocolate for any special occasion, or even just to fill my hankering for the P2C2. A little concoction consisting of chocolate, caramel, peanut and potato chips (sounds so strange) but truly is a tantalizing sensation for the taste buds. I recently broadened my horizons with trying the "Tartarunga", a turtle like treat made with creamy belgian chocolate, and pecan cooked Samuel Adams Lager! MmmmmmmmMmmmm!!!!!
I recommend taking a stroll in here pretty soon if you haven't already! -

Oh you have been at Pure Chocolate costing way to much money. I see.
Amazing chocolate. Kind of pricey. The owner is very friendly and gives free samples. I give it 4 stars.

This is an amazing little hidden treasure in Quincy that I was so happy to find. Great chocolate, nice people. I've given confections from this store as presents to family, friends, and coworkers - always impressive in terms of presentation and taste (as in "yum!") Price? Well, it's excellent hand made gourmet chocolate. It's not going to be cheap. But it's worth it. My only request would be to have a package/bulk(ish) price for people assembling a box of a dozen or so - prepackaged? Maybe available at holidays if it would be too difficult to do during the year.

If you are a fan of chocolate, you definitely have to check this place out! Everything they make is delicious. The entire store smells wonderful. The staff are helpful and friendly. The P2C2 and turtles are amazing. I was able to get a large sampler box filled for only $17.

All I have to say is "Moos"! These creative and delicious chocolate covered creations are amazing and everyone should try them. Pure is a great gem for chocolate lovers. Totally reinventing confectionary foods and bringing them out of the check out isle!

I tried to stop in here on a Saturday afternoon during the holiday season, and they were closed. I was really disappointed. But then, while searching for Christmas stocking stuffer ideas for the mister, I decided to peruse their website and see what I could find to order via mail. And then I found them: Lager Tartarugas. He's big into beer, and he enjoys dark chocolate, so I thought these Sam Adams-infused turtles seemed like the perfect gift for him. They weren't cheap - about $25 after shipping for six of them - but they sure were delicious. He couldn't stop raving about them, and I savored the few bites he allowed me. We will definitely be stopping at Pure to see what else they have to offer; I'll just make sure to check the hours first to make sure they're open.

Endorsed by Chocolate's #1 Fan!!
The brownies that appear to be a shiny blob of chocolate have to be the most delicious desert to ever have passed my lips. They are basically the gooiest fudgiest richest most perfect brownie you could imagine, but wait it gets better... smeared with a delicous fudge like frosting and then dipped in a decadent dark chocolate.
The P2C2 is delicious as well. And so is everything I have tried there.
The 2 sisters that own the business are absolute dolls and are happy to answer any questions you might have. They are also happy to give you a sample taste of their treats and luring you into instant addiction!!
And after writing this I am really craving one of those brownies! -

I can't say enough good things about this adorable little shop. Inside, it's the perfect place for the discriminating chocoholic, with excellent, personalized service and attention to detail that is second to none. The packaging is impeccable and stylish. Forget all of that though, the real star is the chocolate creations, especially the p2c2 - I can't live without it! I mean it!

Although I've never visited the store (but plan to very soon!), I received a box of PURE chocolate as a Christmas gift and was blown away by how delicious it is! I think it's just milk chocolate with crisps, but I read on the website they have potatoes in it too? SURE! Regardless, delicious chocolate. Can't wait to visit the store!

YUM! The chocolate covered potato sticks are soooo good when you are in the mood for that sweet/salty kind of treat. Everything there is delicious. A bit pricey but in line with the quality. Parking is tough, though. And if you are not a local, you are apt to drive right by.

i found pure chocolate on phantom gourmet and had to stop there. the staff is amazing, the chocolate is divine and parking is very easy. the cases are always full when i stop in, free samples are offered, it really couldn't get any better. the p2c2 is unbelievable, it's chocolate potato chips carmel and peanut butter, she is a genius for thinking it up! my boyfriend is in love with the chocolate covered brownie, it's chocolate overload!
other people have said they have had a hard time parking, i've always pulled right up front. the girls are very accomodating, they always help me pick out the perfect gift.
i would recomend pure chocolate to anyone!
