Had a mixup with my birthday cake design but the asst store Mgr Joseph did due diligence in designing a new one for me...just an hour and a half before my event. Thank you so much Joseph to you and your staff, that was exceptional customer service your rendered.

Pharmacy is an absolute joke. Expect to wait at least an hour and a half if you need anything

Stopped by during our short stay in Lakeland, to pick up a meal from the hot counter. The lady at the counter explained the whole rotisserie chicken was on sale at a better price than the individual meal. We thanked & proceeded with our order. When we got to the cashier, she also mentioned the better price on the chicken. Kudos to Publix for great customer service.

This location will never get my business again. They had me standing in line for 10 minutes waiting on someone to take my order for the sub station. JUSTIN one of the deli employees took and made someone's order and walked away while I and 3 other people were standing behind her. He started taking other people's orders who came in after us and then sent a black girl like myself out to make our sandwiches after I had already showed him that I was frustrated at the fact that we had been waiting for 10 minutes to get our order taken. It wasn't until I walked back to get his name that he asked if I needed help when clearly he wasn't the one who wanted to help us. With all of the racial tension going on, him sending a black girl to make our food after he had just made the women's who was ahead of us was DISGUSTING and unacceptable. This location with never get my business again and this was my go-to once a week. I'll find a new go-to before I continue to spend money here.

Always good products and service, but almost always expensive. I only buy BOGOs or sale items.

I wish the store was larger and that it offered more of a variety; I am spoiled by periodic trips to Giant and Harris Teeter in the DC area and even the newest Asheville-area Ingles stores. For local variety I prefer the Lake Miriam Publix and will check out the renovated Southgate Publix when it opens, but this is convenient and satisfactory. - Jessica W.Woodbury, MN871Aug 9, 2009
This Publix is conveniently located across from the Lakeside Village Shopping center and next to Target.
I am new to town and found this location to be easy to get to as I pass by it on my way to and from work. The parking lot is neat and tidy and the store is clean and bright.
During our first trip to Publix we noticed that it seemed to be a little higher priced than what we were used to paying, but since we assumed that groceries were just higher priced in FL we continued shopping. Our final bill was much more than we had expected.
Most recently, we needed just a few groceries to get us through the week. We had staple items such as bread, milk, cheese and lunch meat on our list. I was shocked to see the Publix brand of Oven Roasted Turkey priced at $8.99/lb. The 1/2 gallon of milk priced at $2.19 seemed a little high, too. Hesitant to continue on this trip, we headed to the bakery where hamburger buns were $2.49 for 12. It was at this point that we gave our basket to the nearest employee and headed straight to WalMart.
The only item that we found that was priced lower than Walmart was the Big and Sexy brand of hairspray that was $12 - almost $5 less than at Walmart.
If you need one or two items and you are near Publix, I would recommend shopping here, but if you're buying groceries for the week and/or for a family, I would strongly encourage you to shop around.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
