I asked Darrell of PSI Home Inspection to inspect a new town house I was hoping to purchase. I picked Darrell based on the recommendation of the previous reviewer, who happens to be a friend of mine.
Darrell's service was great. He was very courteous, detailed, and patient with all my questions. My agent was also impressed by the amount of time and care Darrell put into his work.
It was clear that Darrell was going above and beyond what was needed of him by pointing out tiny maintenance details (not just defects) that a concerned future home owner like myself would find invaluable.
Highly recommended. -

Darrell Marsolais of PSI Home Inspection is a fantastic home inspector! My boyfriend just purchased his (first ever!) home, and Darrell came on a Saturday on very short notice to do the inspection. He spent almost 3 hours there and was very thorough in his explanations. He explained everything - even things with the house that didn't necessarily relate to the inspection, but that we would want to consider in maintaining the house.
I *hope* I won't need another house inspected for a long time, but I'd definitely recommend Darrell to anyone! -

I would highly recommend Darrell of PSI Home Inspection. Last week Darrell inspected a home I am hoping to purchase. I contacted Darrell by email, and he responded very quickly, and was thorough and professional in answering my initial questions.
That professionalism and thoroughness carried over to the inspection, which lasted approximately 3 hours. This is an older home, and Darrell took the time to discuss long-term maintenance issues in addition to the few things that should be taken care of soon. I definitely learned a lot! He was very matter-of-fact and up front about everything, which I appreciated.
The report was clear and concise. He even had the summary report finished that evening in time to meet our contract deadline. Of course I'm hoping not to need another inspection soon, but if I do I'll call Darrell!
