Q:
Can kids come here?
A:
We bring our kiddo all the time. They've got high chairs and many families are normally dining in when we've been.
Gwen D.4 months agoQ:
Do they use German hops or American? Makes all the difference in German beer!
A:
Hello Katie! Great questions. Prost ships all of its ingredients directly from German. For hops, we use exclusively noble hops grown in the Hallertau region. Prost!

We have lived so close to Prost for years and I've avoided it like the plague because I don't like German beer. But we had friends over who love it and insisted it was a must try.
I was so pleased to see that they had a bunch of non-German beers available cleverly listed under "rule breakers". I tried both the Blood Orange Gose and the Grapefruit Radler and they were both really yummy. The grapefruit radler was definitely my favorite of the two.
My friends got the German biers and said the Pilsner and dunkel were their favorites.
Huge plus the music they were playing was 10/10 and we were singing along to every song!!
We weren't hungry so we didn't try any of the food, but have heard their stuff if really good and the other food we saw being ordered looked pretty tasty. Will definitely be back to try some along with some more of their tasty beers!
We also heard that their beer is brewed at Avery in Boulder, which is another favorite of ours so it made sense we liked their beers so much.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 17, 2024
Stopped here for a beer after walking around and grabbing some food. I loved how open this brewery was. The woman behind the bar was nice and promptly served us a flight of all the beers we wanted to try. They had a good selection and every beer was great. Really crisp and full bodied. The merch looked good too! I would love to come back.

Honestly have to update my review because I'm embarrassed by my childish palate of the one I left 7 years ago.
I have finally matured it seems and very much enjoy the Prost beers, especially the Marzens and Dunkles. Enough to take a 12 pack home after spending some time here for Oktoberfest.
Great patio and indoor area, lots of a space. They have food now which is nice. Pretzel was good, 4/5 wurst was good also a 4/5. German potato salad was amazing 100/5 and the slaw was bland with no flavor 0/5. Could have used some vinegar or something cuz it just tasted like cabbage and water not even any salt. Luckily that pot salad made up for it; it was so damn good. The fresh dill was on point.
Will definitely come back. Great place to get some German beers if you're in the mood.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1Mar 20, 2016Previous reviewLet me preface this review by saying we are not really into most German beers. I will admit being of German descent I am deeply embarrassed to admit this. :-(
That being said this space is awesome! The outdoor patio is sick! Cornhole out there and plenty of tables overlooking the city! Inside is so authentically German with that light wood...I felt like we had transported back to the motherland. German and Bavarian flags everywhere. Nice bar type seating inside but looking out over the patio and city. It was a tad cold the day we went. This place is so cool! I just wish I liked German beers more. I'm just not into the super light beers. However I am a fan of Berliner Weisse's so I'm sure they might be brewing some of those in the summer which is also the perfect time to enjoy the patio. I definitely want to come back and it's not the breweries fault that my tastebuds suck! I seriously felt right at home! - Aug 23, 2023Updated review4 check-ins
Updating to include the boots. Comes out to about 68 oz I believe so I promise you they are bigger then you think. Very fun activity to enjoy responsibly! You need to put in a $45 deposit for a boot in case you break it.

The vibe is very casual, come and go as you please. You order beers directly from the bar and the choices are spectacular. Tending to stick to the more traditional-ish German style beers, you won't find the biggest selection of IPAs but the beers are fantastic. It's worth noting you can order tiny tasters all the way up to a 2 Liter boot of beer. That is not a typo. Definitely worth investing your Friday night into a 2L Kölsch suck down.
The service is great, as the staff is all super friendly. Depending on how busy it is, they will bring the food to you directly or you grab it where you order it outside.
I tend to use the menu for a small shareable bites because the beer is filling. Definitely recommend getting the Sausage Board as it hits all the German cravings. Give it a go! - Sep 14, 2022
Prost is one of my favorite spots to grab a drink! All of the beer (and seltzer) is amazing and the food is also extremely tasty.
My favorite beer to date has been a recent blood orange beer! I've only had food once but it was so great and will definitely be getting a soft pretzel each time from now on!
The soft pretzel was one of the best I've ever had! We also tried fingerling smashers and they were delicious as well. I wasn't super hungry or else I'd have ordered the doner kebab!!
I'm addition to the food and drinks, the view of the city is also super great!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 17, 2023
Walked in on a Thursday afternoon for a refreshing, authentic German Hefeweizen. I wasn't disappointed! It was just like I was back in Germany! The tasting room is spacious and looks like it could have been taken right out of Bavaria. The service was friendly and quick!

Phenomenal dunkel weizen, perfectly balanced, malty, and just the right banana taste!

Saw there was a German restaurant and brewery in town so we had to stop by. The decor and ambiance was very similar to what we'd see at a German beer hall with fest tables everywhere and German decor all around. The beer was almost all German beer. And it was great. They had a German food truck outside the main door and was pretty good as well.

One of my favorite spots in Denver. Great inside beer hall with an awesome patio looking over downtown. They have German style food served out of a food truck that is delicious. Highly recommend!
