This is no longer called Prime Time Sports Bar & Grill.

It is now a swank bar/lounge that is attached to Blue Fin Sushi.  It Opened on Friday 9/18/09 after a full remodel.  The new lounge is beautifully decorated and very zen.

Once you step into this trendy establishment you feel as though you are downtown, minus the parking fee's and traffic jams.

Experience it for yourself!   Have an after work cocktail and slip into a piece of heaven in the Richmond!

I lived near here for about 4 years.  This place is a great neighborhood bar where you can enjoy some good drinks, watch from one of the many TVs, eat some pretty good food, and if you're around when the attached restaurant next door "Blue Fin Sushi" is open enjoy some great sushi from their sushi menu.

The place is decorated with wood and sports memorabilia.  The perimeter of the room has the smaller higher tables with high chairs while the center has the standard round tables with 3 to 4 chairs each, all wood.  Along the back wall and the side wall above the bar are numbers of television sets showing any number of sports with the focus being football and baseball.  The front has a couple of large darkly tinted windows.  The bar tends to be dark enough to enjoy the televisions with enough light to be able to read the menus and enjoy your food.

I discovered a few years ago that the bar is open early on Sunday mornings and the bar tender will make my favorite hangover cure, the Ramos Fizz until around 2 or 3 in the afternoon.  These tasty drinks do a wonderful job of getting rid of that throbbing head and slight queasy feeling with a nice refreshing frothy citrusy buzz.

Their Sunday morning menu has improved over the years.  They now serve Sunday lunch specials that are pretty tasty as well as their regular bar menu stuff like their burgers, salads and buffalo wings.  I'm not a huge fan of their breakfast food which I consider okay but the rest is pretty good.

I've come here in the evenings many times and enjoyed some beautiful tasty sushi in their bar including their volcano roll, rainbow roll, 49er roll, Philly roll and yellow tail nigiri as well as their warm sake.  I've also come for salads, chicken strips, buffalo wings, and burgers.  It's all been enjoyable.

My last time here was last Sunday afternoon.  I came out from North Beach to drink some Ramos Fizzes with a friend that lives in the neighborhood.  I ended up eating their lunch special which consisted of beef stew over rice and was definitely home made and very tasty.  I had a bite of my friends burger which was flavorful and juicy.

The place was full except for a couple of the tables in the back when I arrived with people watching college football.  Several people were wearing jerseys and occasionally would stand up and scream in unison.  I don't really follow football but it was highly entertaining to watch.

I miss living near this place.  It's a great place to hang out on a Sunday morning or in the evening if you want a few drinks and some good sushi, a burger or bar snacks.  I'm a big fan so it gets an enthusiastic four stars!

I stumbled upon this place when I was visiting a friend at 19th & Clement. On this particular night, a woman named Coleen was bartending. She was such a sweetheart! We enjoyed the patio seating--one table & two chairs. Is that still considered a patio? She kept checking up on us, asked if we live in the neighborhood & then whipped out a food menu saying that they deliver.

    Sushi! Pizza! Awesome.

We ordered some Sushi, and while it was decent...they cut the rolls WAY too big. I don't quite understand why sushi joints do that super sized crap, I like my rolls bite size.

They have about 10 television sets, a good spot to catch a ballgame.

If you're in the 'hood, stop in. Chat it up with the bartender lady, she makes great conversation!

From the outside; Big New Sports Bar! C'mon Inside!! Fun awaits!! From the inside; two old guys and an atmosphere about as much fun as a trauma center waiting room.

    De-pressing!!!!!

I love this place.  My dear friend Colleen Wong is the bartender there and she is very cool and super sweet and makes the best drinks in town.  The only thing that I don't like is parking is a major problem.  That's SF for you.  The burgers and the Blue Fin restuarant next door is awesome, a little pricey but well worth it.

I would give it five stars, but parking is hard to find in that area.

With all do respect for other reviewers this bar is a great place to get drunk.  In fact, one of it's high points is that you can drink a lot here and not get kicked out. What is more, it has about 12 television and DirectTV so every game imaginable is usually on.

This is a great place to drink a lot on Sunday.  They have so-so food that gets better the more you drink and the bartender and waitress have lots of personality.  It usually takes about eight drinks with steady tipping before the bartender, begrudgingly, buys you one.

If you are lucky enough to drink here during the NFL  or NBA playoffs then you'll be able to witness the small, though vocal, patrons that have clearly put a substantial amount of money on the different games.  It's fun to watch and, if you are interested, I'm sure you could learn about what the different "lines" mean and how to effectively bet the "over/under."

A downside is that the drinks are pricier then you would think, but I guess they have to pay the cable bill.

The Ramos Fizz is a popular drink here, but I think their bloody mary are a stronger hair-of-the-dog drinks.  They have a nice selection of tap beers, but they are little price for my taste.
