You can spend about 2 hours here. We went on Labor Day and got some good deals on designer purses: my sister got two wristlets from Coach that were marked down and she had printed out a 20% coupon. The kate spade store was marked down 40% off the lowest ticketed price. Other points of interest (for me, anyway) is the Cosmetics Company Store, which often has discontinued items from MAC, and any of the kitchenware stores.

The food court is really small, crowded, with bad food options. Free wi-fi is offered in the food court, but I didn't have my netbook to test out its connectivity. Near the mall there is a Cracker Barrel, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Waffle House. It is not the best outlet mall but you will probably find something if you look long enough. It also appears to be dog-friendly, as I saw lots of people walking their dogs today. Why you would take your dog with you to go outlet shopping is beyond me, but hey, Vendi, Vista, Visa, Poodle.

I've stopped at these outlets many a time on returning home from a road trip to the Midwest.  But this Saturday I drove out here for the sole purpose of doing a bit of shopping (and eating at a German restaurant - more on that in the review of Schmankerl Stube).

It was one of the colder days of the year, and thus not quite appropriate for shopping at an outdoor mall.  However, it was January sale season!  Places like LLBean, Eddie Bauer and Carter's (kids' clothes) were having some fabulous sales.  A $50 cashmere/wool scarf for $20.  Baby onesies, regularly $12 for only $1.60 (a buck sixty???, it's like they're giving them away!). Sweaters for 75% off.  Purses at the Coach store for which women were standing in line.

No, this outlet doesn't have the greatest selection of stores.  But it can be worth the drive, especially if you have other business in town (like eating at the German restaurant).

It's slogan is

"The Power of Passionate Shopping"

Oh my that is quite awful.

Lose.

Food Court.... please get options.  It is small, and *wow*... bad.

The stores.. most are meh.  There is the one strip of black and decker and think williams and sonoma before timberland.  I did get sort of drooly.

i came here to shop for my husband and child. i ended up with two new pairs of pants, a new shirt and pair of shoes.... for myself.

oh gap outlet, thou hast always been my outlet shopping weakness.

long ago once upon a time, i worked and lived in a town that had one of the nation's many prime outlets. i went almost everyday for about a month to a handful of stores to monitor the prices and buy when i saw a really good deal (and also because i was really bored and had nothing to do). and the gap was the only store that consistently had good prices.

by good prices, i mean prices that are actually better than what you would pay in a regular retail store on a regular kind of sale day, if the store has frequent sales. too many of these "outlet" stores don't actually have lower prices than their retail counterparts but make you think everything's a bargain because of where you are. e.g. sunglass hut. for that reason, you get 3 stars!

but i like the array of stores in this location. from children's place to kate spade, nike and puma to banana republic, kb toys to furniture stores... there's a pretty good array. and like the previous reviewer mentioned, there is indeed a DQ and a small food court. for kiddies, there's also a playground and snowball stand right in the middle of it all.

Outlet Shopping.

What can you say about shopping?  Anyone can do it if they want to.  The selection of stores here is decent.  Not the best, but it'll keep you busy .  It is not a large outlet, but it's decent enough to shop here for a couple of hours.  There aren't many options in the choices of outlets within a reasonable driving distance in the area, other than Leesburg, or if you want to go farther out to Potomac Mills.

One thing I do like about this place is the food court, they have Dairy Queen!!!  Nice treat on a hot summer day.

Just a warning if you do wish to come here on Black Friday, the exit backs up at least 2-3 miles down and it'll take out about a few hours to get into the outlet.  So if you do come, come EARLY!

I stopped here to shop on my way to DC.  The LL Bean store is the best of the lot.  I love Pfaltzgraff, but the company is closing the factory stores.  Lots of bargains to be had there, but takes away a main reason I shop the outlets; oh, well...
