11 reviews for Prime Outlets At Ellenton
For years this was my favorite outlet mall - and then I moved to Texas. Until the outlet mall here got a coach store this mall was a MUST visit every time I was in Sarasota. I still stop by for the Kate Spade and Dooney and Burke store :)
There's lots of other stores too - harry and david has delicious snacks - and so does KILWINS - oh my god their fudge mmmm. Aerosoles, Nine west, factory brand shoes , and all the other shoe stores I can't remember. Samsonite - thanks for all my luggage :). Polo, Gap, Tommy - if you are feeling preppy. I could go on and on.
Just go there.
Place blows and I dont like outlet malls in general. Not only does this mall suck, but the people who shop here do on the whole, but the town of Ellenton is one of the worst places I ever experienced as well.
This does NOT get my vote and at outlet malls in general. YOU DO NOT GET DEALS!
This is my second favorite outlet mall. I love the off 5th, kate spade, coach, escada, hartstrings for this kids, gymboree outlet, ann taylor outlet , and so many more. I always plan a stop when I am out and about. My shopping buddy and I have to keep the day open because we spend a lot of time in this place. If you are a true shopper you find deals. Not all the stores have deals but most do. Just be ready for lots of walking.
I drop way too much money when I visit this outlet. Mostly because of the Saks 5th Ave, Lucky Denim, BCBG, and CK outlets. It is an outdoor mall, so be prepared to sweat. And, get there are soon as they open on the weekends, or you will end up walking two miles to and from your parking space. Watch out for screaming children running ramming you, lots of chewing gum on the sidewalk, and crabby senior citizens. There food here is not so great, but there are some nice restaurants in the shopping plaza next to the outlets, like Gio. If you are willing to drive a little further away there is Hickory Hollow for BBQ.
If you have a woman shopping with you, or you are a woman, you will spend four hours here at least. So expect a half day of hoofing it. Tampa does not even have anything on this shopping experience. It is so nice to have a place like this close to home.
This mall is excellent, it has everything. It's well laid out and easy to get around. Check out Off Saks 5th and get some designer sunglasses at unbelievable low prices. Go on a weekday to avoid the crowds. Not much of a food court but who gives a sh_t. They are lots of places nearby to eat. Check it out and bring lots of money.
ENOUGH ALREADY. They're the SAME as every other outlet mall that you've ever been to in your entire life (except for woodbury commons of course, aka mecca).
If you want last season's ralph lauren polo shirts for 20$ less or coach handbags designed specifically FOR the outlet, then you're in the right spot. And of course, if you want to spend hours at Neiman's Last Call you may find an incredible deal - may.
The absurd dressing room & cashier lines, crappy foodcourt, INSANE parking lot, & attitude from outlet sales people just isn't worth it.
The outlet has plenty of options for all kinds of people. Some stores pose as outlets, but have the same prices you would find anywhere else. There are some stores where you can save over 50% to 75% off, which is a hard thing to find at the regular mall unless the clothes is heavily damaged or ugly as hell.
The food court is decent, but not on par with food courts in the malls in Tampa. I usually will go eat at the restaurants in the area instead when I travel down there.
There's plenty of other things in the area such as restaurants and even an ice skating rink, so you can make a whole day out of taking a trip to Ellenton.
This is a MUST STOP for most tourists who visit this area.
Hundreds of Outlet stores for many names brands - Levis, Black & Decker, Liz Claiborne, and many others.
You can never beat a great deal and this outlet mall has it. It's a one stop shop for anything and everything! Perfume, tools, dishes, pet supplies, clothes, shoes, and much more!

Thirteen dollars for a pair of Gonz superskates at the Adidas store, this outlet kills it.
A mall is still a mall.
Look folks...this place masquerades as a 'factory outlet'.....
It's just another open air, pedestrian RETAIL mall/plaza.....much of their pricing is no different that found in retail sotres anywhere in America.....Saks Fifth Avenue's "5th Off" (or Off 5th ?) is a joke......
Brooks Brothers is no bargain either !
I bought a pair of loafers at the Bass Outlet....only to find that the same shoes were actually about 5 bucks cheaper at BEALLS Department stores which is a great home grown (Bradenton) retail, soft goods chain.....
Frankly I think it's a rip
