I went here with a lady friend of mine on Valentine's day a few years back (before Yelp was on my radar). The food was pretty good, but was very much overpriced. What made me NEVER want to go back to this restaurant was the way we were treated. We were the only diners there under the age of 40, and were treated like 19th class citizens because of it.
Despite the fact that we were seated before at least four other parties of 2, we were served last at every possible moment; Drinks, appetizers, main course, dessert, and even to finally get the check. On multiple occasions, multiple servers ignored us, and finally I had to flag down bus boys to get our meal moving along. Three of the other couples were finished with all courses before we even received our main course.
When our horrible experience was finally "over" and we were grabbing our coats from the coat room, the most shocking part of my visit occurred. When the maitre' d asked us how our meal went, I expressed all that I just laid out to you. He had the nerve to say that we must have been mistaken because their wait staff would never do such a thing. REALLY? That's how you treat your guests? I refuse to ever step foot into this restaurant again and any time I have the chance to discourage someone from giving them business I do so.
Do yourself a favor and teach this place a lesson and not give them your business. There are many better places to eat in the area. -

Frequent Primavera every New Years day with my entire family. While I realize a private party of over 20 people will receive more attention from the wait staff, I have been extremely impressed with the service, not only from the attentiveness of the staff, but also from their knowledge of the menu. While the menu items are always good, I always try to sample their specials. From the Osso Bucco to the Branzino, everything I have tried there has been wonderful.
I do understand that I have only eaten there under certain circumstances (large parties, New Years day) so I don't know how the restaurant runs on a day to day basis, but I have been very impressed with everything Primavera has offered up to me. -

Competent Italian, very slow service, bought our group of 6 an aperitif for desert. Might go back.

Pleasant but stuffy atmosphere with attentive waitstaff but little charm. Very enticing specials but make sure you know the cost of the dishes you order, since the unwritten specials menu is roughly double the regular menu prices and the waiter does not disclose. Our dinner for 4 with no cocktails and wine by the glass was about $350 with tip. Watch out for the fish. Food was good but prices were way over the top.

A nice Italian restaurant with nice ambiance. Nicer than others in the area. The food is always pretty good, though the specials are always the same. They should be called "additional things not on the menu."
The more we go there the more I realize the service is hit or miss. They're friendly for the most part, but forgetful and often slow. If the restaurant ever gets packed it seems that confusion wins out.
I do genuinely like Primavera, but there is certainly room for improvement. -

Although the food and service are excellent , the prices of the specials (which are not mentioned until you get the bill) are outrageous, almost twice the cost of anything else on the menu! The bill came to an unexpected $100 a person and we shared dessert and not everyone had wine. It's also a bit tight on the seating (not romantic if that's what you are looking for) and the horse mural doesn't seem to fit the decor.

Beautiful restaurant!!! The service here is the best service I've ever experienced. They treat you so nice and make this dining experience really amazing! The food is great and consistent. I highly recommend. This restaurant is classy and extremely friendly :) and not snooty at all which is great!
The at ire is casual to dressy, I've worn jeans and at times dressed up and they treat you the same way every time, very nice! -

Located in Stanley Tucci's former "Finch Tavern" mansion, this Restaurant opened in January 2006 in Croton Falls right next to the Shell gas station on Interstate 684 towards Danbury, Exit 7. With its traditional Italian style it is sure to attract many customers. So far I have only checked out the bar which is a nice place to go with friends or for business gatherings! Gin Tonics and Tequilla's are good!

Disappointing - Food was average and prices are high . Waiter copped an attitude once a member of the group asked him to quote prices on the specials.
