Before moving to NY, our favorite pizza place was Homeslice in Austin, TX. My wife grew up on Prima and swore by it which made me (secretly) think she had no idea what she was talking about. Besides, she bragged about "Prima this" and "Prima that" so much that I knew I was being set up for a letdown. However, we arrived to NY on May 30 and went to Prima's THE next day and I was blown away! Amazing crust, fresh toppings, and reasonable prices! We live 20 miles away and need a Prima fix every ten days now. Not every week or two weeks, but TEN days. I only know this because I tried to resist for as long as possible and the limit was set at ten. I could live off this stuff, but my line of work does not allow me to be morbidly obese (although it would be worth it if I could eat Prima pizza every day). I am a big fan of the Meat Lover's pizza while my wife loves the Queen Margarita. Go there and they will make you a believer...unless you're simply out of your mind (if that's the case, politicians aren't really welcome in Cornwall anyway).
FINAL NOTE: My wife just walked in while I was writing this review and said, "They were stingy with the basil when I asked for extra on my last Queen Margarita so don't give them 5 stars!" Maybe Prima's will give me a discount if I risk a happy marriage by giving them 5 stars anyway! I doubt it, but this is some good pizza. -

Great pizza, great variety of toppings and excellent thin crusts. We also had a calzone which was great, but was a bit pricier than I had thought - my fault for not checking the price first! Very nice staff and a warm, kitschy atmosphere - great place!

I ordered a small plain pizza. I guess they mean small when you order small because it was approximately the size of 2 regular slices. It was a complete soggy mess with the cheese falling off as soon as we took a bite. It was also TEN DOLLARS for a (extremely) small pizza. Primas has signs that they ship pizza across the world but i'm not sure why anyone would want it.

THE BEST PIZZA (OK - sorry for screaming). I have moved 220 miles away after 40+ years in Cornwall, and I still long for their Pizzas! Hey! You can order them online! (Hmmmmm - nothing defrosted for tonight's dinner). Cy Scalise has passed away, but his protogees still make one hell of a good pie! Atmosphere not great, but then few "eat in." Pizza rocks!

Oh, Prima. Your gooey and delicious calzones resonate in my tastebud memories. I can't thank you enough for always giving me extra sauce with my calzone, which is an amazing deal because it lasted me at least three meals, it is so huge (think a large pizza, folded over and sealed, stuffed with whatever you want!).
The first time I took a bite of your chicken parm pizza was one of the best days of my life. Whoever thought of putting fried and breaded chicken cutlet pieces on a pizza... should be deified.
I love your fresh cannolis, your fried dough with powdered sugar, and your tiny restaurant which always wafts with the smell of amazing pizzas and other delicacies when you drive by.
I love how when strolling down Main Street during the autumn festival in town, we could stop by and grab a slice and a soda and have a perfect ending to a perfect east coast autumn day.
Now that the husband and I live in California, we thank you for your overnight pizza shipping service (http://www.pizzaofnewy...), which hubby gets for his birthday every year. -

Absolutely outstanding pizza. It's the gem of Cornwall. There crust is crispy with enough soft dough to still hold it's own with the sauce and cheese. The toppings are plentiful and they have a great variety. The garlic knots they bring as an appetizer are sensational for the simplicity that they are (dough with garlic butter).

I agree with Jovi - awesome pizza (fall fair was today as a matter of fact - pizza in the main street of Cornwall was smelling soooo good!!) The pizza is fabulous, it was the first place I ate at when I moved to Cornwall and there were so many pizzas to try - all are great - calzones..mmm how about the sandwiches, fantastic as well and the italian wedding soup is another fave of mine. They have whole wheat crust now as well.

Great Pizza, calzones, garlic knots - even have cannoli! Kitschy atmosphere. The staff is warm and welcoming - best pizza in the area and surrounding areas for connoisseurs.
