I love Dr. Allen!
He is great at listening to all my comments and concerns and really takes the time to answer all of my questions (and I have a lot).
He is definitely knowledgeable and trustworthy and explains what is wrong with my legs in a thorough way that I can understand.
I've been to him for minor strains in both calves and now for a shin splint. My race (1st marathon) is coming up in a very short time, but working with him is giving me the confidence that I can actually survive (and maybe thrive?) in this race. -

Dr. Allen is great! He's a former physical therapist who wanted to be able to diagnose and treat patients and went down the path to chiropractic and I'm glad he did! Dr. Allen has a low-impact style, which I'm very comfortable with. He doesn't adjust just to adjust--he'll do other treatments such as muscle stimulation, ultrasound, trigger point therapy, kinesio taping.
Dr. Allen doesn't try to get you to sign up for a long treatment plan...he helps you understand your body and educates you how to help make yourself better...and he take insurance, too! -

Wow, finally a chiropractor who doesn't make you come back 3 x a week for life, he actually fixes what is wrong. He runs on time so there is minimal waiting in his office. I have been to a lot of Chiropractors in my lifetime and I have never had one who is so gentle and who spends so much time with you. He is amazing! You will love this office.

As a dispatcher, I have had neck and shoulder problems for years. During this time I have gone to other chiropractors all of whom did "crack" adjustments. My pain rarely went away and I was told it was because I did not come 3 times a week or take a multitude of vitamins they sell. Then I saw Dr. Allen and was amazed at my experience. I love walking in for an appointment and the fact that the office staff knows everyone by name. It makes you feel special! Dr. Allen builds a climate of trust right off the bat. He is very thorough in his explanation of what is happening to your body. He treats with heat and stem to relax the area prior to working on it. If there is a day I am in pain, all I have to do is call and he will always try to get you in. From the minute you meet him, you know he is a doctor that cares about his patients! I highly recommend him to anyone looking a a chiropractor!

Meet the Business Owner: Bruce A.
Dr. Bruce B. Allen, DC, CKTP is a graduate of Southern California University of Health Sciences. Prior to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine, he worked as a Physiotherapist and Personal Trainer throughout San Diego. Dr. Allen received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Human Movement & Sports Science) specializing in Kinesiotherapy from San Diego State University. In addition, Dr. Allen has had extensive experience working with patients for post-operative and sports injury rehabilitation. In his spare time, you will find Dr. Allen out playing soccer, softball, mountain biking, weight lifting, playing golf and riding motocross. Participating in many different sports allows Dr. Allen to fully understand the biomechanics behind the various sports and the injuries that go along with them. This enables Dr. Allen to find the underlying cause of the issue at hand and treat it accordingly. This allows for fewer treatments and a quicker recovery for the patient.
