Went here from a friend of a friend's recommendation. I made an appointment for a bikini wax because from their website they had good prices.
The location is great (next to the LV store on Greene St.), the ambiance inside is so peaceful and not to mention beautiful!! The service was great as well.
I had Yamile and she was very nice, professional and fast!
My complaints would be:
1. They do not do brazillian bikini waxes anymore. (but it's still advertised on their website)
2. I went on a Wednesday- according to the site you get 15% off services on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Like an idiot I forgot to mention it, but when I remembered, I felt a little bad they didn't automatically do it.
Other than that, I was considering a massage because their prices seem really great and the place is gorgeous! Worth a try!
After years of mediocre facials, my friend turned me on to Pratimas. And after years of bad skin and bad skin care products recommended to me by facialists, i find Pratima's to be a total miracle. I didn't think I'd ever find a place that actually worked for me, but the products are INCREDIBLE and my favorite facialist Yamile is AWESOME.
my skin has completely changed since going to Pratima's on a semi regular basis and using her products. I cannot say enough good things about my visits there, the products and the results.
I went to this place yesterday and had a pleasant experience. First of all, the products are 100% natural, no chemicals, no shit. This is very important for me since I'm highly allergic to pretty much everything...sigh... and the rooms smell like sandal and rose, nice!
I can't talk about the rest of the services, but the facial was relaxing and effective, you know, what you would expect for $100.
My friend had a scalp massage and wasn't impressed about it.
Oh, and the beds are comfortable too!
