US Post Office

This post office is not what you would call reliable.

First of all, they apparently have never thought to open another booth so two people could go at once, making the line way longer. Second, the mail carriers are not reliable at all. Our mail person only delivers our mail half the time, and when they do, it's usually someone else's. Look, I know what you do probably isn't a blast, but it's still your job. Do it right. Also, the people working there aren't fun to deal with. Usually they're snappy or just incompetent.

All in all, I would recommend going to a different post office.

I don't know why people are reading this two stars but with my experience today, I'm giving them five stars. Yes it's true. There was only one attendant today and his name is Eduardo. He is absolutely helpful and professional. He was so patient in assisting me with my package and especially that I messed up with the labels and he was just so nice to explain everything and help me all the way. He was even singing and that would only mean he's very happy with his job. Clean and efficient branch.

This was a nice and clean post office and it was not crowded at all. The workers are really friendly we were chatting about the upcoming football season, im new to the area and when I left I noticed that there was a sports bar directly across the street so I will be returning soon.

The staff there are so rude that I stopped shipping from this location. The fat bald-headed guy is verbally combative and disrespectful and the Indian guy is also very rude and was actually picking his nose in front of me before handing me a receipt.

One of the worst experience I've ever had. There were two people infront of me when I walked in at 12:10. It's 12:35 and finally it's my turn . The guy said he has to take a 15 min break and runs off telling me and 8 people behind to just wait for 15 min.

I told him I don't need to purchase anything I just need this label scanned and I'm dropping it off. And he said everyone needs a little something.

Not sure why he's so rude and taking forever to help everyone out.

I wish I could leave 0 stars..I went to this usps today, 4th in line. I started to notice everyone in-front of me kept getting their shipments rejected when I came to the window to drop off my package I asked the Indian clerk if he could provide me with a pocket slip to put my label in. He stated they no longer provided them I said ok no problem can I please have 2 pieces of tape he said "no because you're not shipping express" He refused to give me two pieces of silly tape because I wasn't paying for a more expensive service then he proceeded to say I had to purchase boxes to ship my items because the ones I had arrived with were not going to work (they were blank brown boxes from staples) then he walked away when clearly I had questions. This man was so rude I couldn't help but be rude in return!! My advice is, if you hate your job go get one you enjoy!

RUDE. RUDE. RUDE. Guy gave me grief over using literal USPS labels that I've been using for years. Was extremely rude and condescending and when I refused to put up with his awful attitude and asked for my stuff back, he refused to give it to me and I had to ask THREE times to give me my packages back. Never coming here again- I rather make the trip to El Segundo and go back to my old post office with amazing staff that are kind and helpful than this awful dump.

I regret to state publicly that this is the worst postal service I've ever been forced to endure. I don't know what clown agency hires the parcel carriers here, but while some are okay, some tasked with delivering eBay items just fail and fail.

I thought this was by law supposed to be a union-staffed operation. Complaints from recipients seem to go nowhere, and service is annoying! I'm not exaggerating. I've lived at this Torrance address for more than five years, but about one of the three parcel carriers is trying to annoy me.

Case in point: I was expecting an eBay parcel today. I saw the carrier drive up, asked if they had any parcels for me. They looked, said no, then inexplicably later supposedly put a parcel in my mailbox, then took it out 3 hrs. later and put it in a mystery parcel locker that is not on my premises.

Are you freaking serious?? You get a richly-deserved 1-star rating. I've been smarted-off at multiple times by arrogant staff at this office. You folks have no more right to that chip on your shoulder than the mystery crew at UPS.

Sad. Be better! We need you to do your jobs 100% of the time. It matters. You're being paid real money.

this is a small antique post office in the heart of old town Torrance. I usually come here to drop off packages or letters, get forever stamps or fill out money orders. They have P.O. boxes here as well for anyone who wishes to own one.

There are moments when the place is full, like around the holiday season. This is where the minor downside comes in given the lack of staff working at the front. I remember once waiting for 45 min to an hour to drop off a package and get the packing number/confirmation.

But other than that, I have yet to encounter the rude employees that the other yelpers have mentioned. Maybe its because I usually go in the morning.

For parking there is are 1-2 15 minute parking spots available but there are also others around the street.

Worst service ever. Can't even get a smile or a greeting from these folks. Always get attitude from them - EVERY SINGLE TIME. Workers, you get compensated well enough for the minimal effort you put out, no need to piss on my parade. Bottom line is that these people don't give a crap and it shows. Would give a ZERO but it seems one star is the minimum, even though they don't deserve it.
