I do think this place gets a bad rap.  It has horrible reviews on the Knot and all over the net, but I'm not sure why.  I mean, most of the people complaining complain about service, but I have to say, my sister and I got top notch service while we were there.  I also went with my friend this past summer (who chose a Posey dress) and we had amazing service.

While it is a large store, the best part is the SELECTION.  They are the ONLY store in town that sells Maggie Sottoro gowns.  For those brides out there looking for a fabulous designer gown, you know Maggie is 'da bomb ass diggity.  Both my sister and my friend chose Maggie gowns in the end, and it's lucky that someone in town sold them!  They are GORGEOUS choices.

Beyond Maggie, they sell a wide array of styles in all shapes and sizes and they have clearance racks with hordes of dresses you can buy at a huge discount if you choose it off the rack.

It's a HUGE store!  They have a lot of changing rooms, a little area that resembles an "aisle" so the girls can get that feeling walking between chairs, and tons of mirrors, accessories and staff.   We were assigned our own sales person who was nice, polite and knowledgable. She gave us little tags to go around tagging dresses we liked.  We started off with six and if we wanted more, she was happy to accommodate.  

I could tell she was on a "timeline" with us.  I believe, we got an hour, but we didn't feel rushed.  There were several other girls being assisted by other sales people and it seemed everyone was trying on lots of dresses and getting one on one service.  

I think it's a bit of an exaggeration to be upset about only getting an hour. While you are a bride, girls, take a step back and remember, you are NOT the only one.  This is my advice.  If you need more than hour, make another appt. and come back.  It's only fair to the ladies who made appts. after you.  And, they are doing the best they can.  It's a very emotional purchase and while they might not be doing back flips for you, most likely carrying around 100s of lbs. of fabric hoping to make your dream come true can be a lot of pressure, so cut the workers some slack.

And, girls, if you live in Indy with so few options on the N side, I think Posey Patch is great for trying on a number of different styles and in many different fabrics.  They have a great selection!  It's a great "starter" place if you aren't sure what to get. :)  And, CONGRATS!!
