Oh My Goodness!!! It's The Best!!!!

You honestly don't get a better slice of pizza anywhere else, and trust me I eat a lot of pizza!!!! I used to live in Astoria and this place is the only reason I come back. The chicken tomato slice is absolutely phenomenal. I have had a lot of different slices there and when I go I want all of them lol. But, I have never disliked anything I ever got there. They are fantastic and I would eat there everyday if I didn't live so far away. I love you guys, you make my tummy say yummy!!!!!!

I love Porto Bello! We ordered (delivery) several times - pizza, rolls and a few similar items. I have not had their pasta yet. The pizza and others items used quality ingredients and the proper combination of them creating the right taste - nothing was strange or disappointing. It was simple and has a wholesome and down to earth appeal in a good way. The pizza crust is not like the typical NY style thin and crunchy kind, which I really like, but it's still solid and good.

I have had better pizza in NY but it's one of the best in Astoria. Not that many places in Astoria make a simple but good pizza. Rosario's and Porto Bello are the only places I can mention.

I am curious about their other items. I'll definitely order again and find out!

I love Porto Bello Pizzeria!!! Been going there for years......
Pizza good: Food's Good: Service Friendly  what more can you ask for.

I think we eat here probably 2-3times a month. Usually Friday nights when we're leaving the city.

I think the only peeve I have is that there sauces on the pasta, particularly the garlic and oil, needs some improving.  Should be less liquid.

Other than that, it a great neighbourhood joint. Many regulars.

Give it a shot if ever you're in the area.

This is not one of my favorite pizza places. I think they make a decent slice though. I have eaten in the back restaurant. I am not a regular here.

excellent pizza - best in astoria, as far as i'm concerned (with apologies to rizzo's). the plain slice is just average, but i guess that's why it's called "plain." the grandma pizza is exceptional, as are the penne vodka and bbq chicken pizzas. they also recently added a buffalo chicken pizza to the menu that i'm eager to try. also, their pizza is incredibly filling - a slice is plenty for a meal, and the "brick oven" size is more than enough for two people, so don't be scared away by the price.

appetizers/sides are also excellent - i highly recommend the rice balls and pinwheels. sit-down service includes free breadsticks, which are also excellent. pasta dishes are well-prepared and ample-sized, so be prepared to take home some leftovers. a calzone is the best bang for your buck, as it could probably feed an average-sized family at around $6. salads are also fresh and enormous. in my experience, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

friendly service, never too crowded, and while a bit pricey, the portions are worth the money, as you'll never go hungry. truly a hidden gem in the astoria food scene.

This little spot isn't far from LaGuardia so if you come off your flight starving you best just take a ride to this place.
Here are my favorites: eggplant rolletini, chicken parm, the Margarita pizza and the chicken Caesar.
An Italian spot with actual Italians inside, that's kind of a novelty now a days.
The food is really good so go in with an appetite.  I just made myself hungry thinking about it.

This is a great place for some wholesome food.  Every portion you order is just right, they used to be bigger but I guess they are managing better because you could never finish them.  They make excellent sauces for all of their pasta dishes.  The pizza is pretty good but nothing to write home about.  They just do their food right. Sometimes you can be waiting for a while for your order, because they do get backed up a bit during the rush.  If you go in before or after a rush youll get your food as quickly and as fresh as possible.  This place is definetly worth a trip out to Astoria.

Best pizza I ever had. Grandpa slice was to die for. Wow the grandpa slice had bread crumbs on it, roasted onions. The taste was magic to my lips. I felt orgasmic while I was eating it. By far the best pizza I ever had. I would go long distances just to get this pizza. Every time I compare pizza it is to this place. There deserts are also to die for. Fresh Canoli's hmmmm. You must try this place at least once and tell me if I'm crazy. If I don't give pizza 5 stars you can blame this place for being so ridiculously good.

Delicious Pizza, fantastic Italian dishes. The pizza is hot, crusty and not too oily. Awesome tortellini. The Chicken parmigiana hero is tasty and fresh. Friendly staff. Good for  eat in or take out. And fast delivery!
They have a minimum for delivery but you can easily reach that by adding their DELISH soup.

Ok so I know you are already thinking, there is no way i am going to QUEENS to get pizza no matter how good this clown says it is.  Well i am not going to try and get you to come out just for this pizza but if you happen to be stranded in Queens. Maybe at LGA ( its a mile away) or maybe you came out to costco to get 500 paper plates, i am not sure why you are out here but you happen to be out here  and you want some very good pizza then go here. The Grandma slice is one of the best i have had in  New York.  I would also go with the Garlic Bread covered with cheese! So good! They also have some great salads and everything is very fresh. Everyone is really nice and the food comes very fast regardless of delivery or eating in.

Pizza is pretty good, parking lot is just so convinent and it's such a good place to get a quick bite and that's it. Dine-in service is not so good, slow service and a long wait, but dishes weren't too bad, me and my boyfriend ate here and had the chicken parm hero and spaghetti, it was good.

I love this pizza.  It's not dripping in oil.  The crust is  cooked a little crisp instead of under cooked. They have whole wheat crusts for the health conscious. And a huge selection of toppings. And I love their spaghetti and meatballs.  And their chicken dishes.  .... okay I love this place.    I belonged to a gym in the same shopping plaza and basically worked out just so I could go have lunch afterwards here.  They're not expensive either.  I had to quit the gym cuz I ate so much here I gained weight. How funny is that!

The pizza is great (Grandma pizza especially, sicilian is lusciously thick and cheesy) and the pasta is al dente. The atmosphere is better than your average pizza joint and the price is not too shabby. Plus, free breadsticks and huge portions. You can't go wrong.

AMAZING Pizza!!! I didn't love the pasta dishES as much as I do from Alba's but the pizza cannot be beat. I have had grandma, sicilian, penne vodka, plain and they are all EXCELLENT!!

There is a nice sized dining room and delivery and to go options are pretty quick :)

The pizza is pretty good (we usually get the wheat pizza with one or two random toppings). The service here (in the sit-down section) can be a little spotty and occasionally we've had to wait a little longer than normal on the pizza, but otherwise I have no complaints. Their prices are pretty much on par for other pizza joints in the area.
