This was one of the best tour I had in Alaska. After our Alaska cruise, we had a private tour arranged to pick us up at the Whittier port and drop us off at the Anchorage airport.
As part of the tour from Whittier to Anchorage, we stopped for the Portage Glacier Cruise. We were on the Ptarmigan boat for about an hour with narration from US national park guide, while cruising along Portage Glacier and Valley.
We also were very lucky that we had magnificent nice sunny weather during this cruise. The one great that about this tour was how close we were to the glacier.
