Loved, loved, loved this place. So cool and old school. Love the open kitchen and the whole crazy vibe of the place. This is seriously good. Huge portions, great hash browns and a great menu. Real pleasure to watch them cook too. We waited a bit outside for a table and they brought us coffee to keep us happy. It worked. I was happy!
Check out this video I made of the place. http://youtu.be/pMyr9s... -

Every visit to my brother goes like this: drink & get wacky, cab it back to the apartment, witness spouse & brother drunkenly slap each other for fun, go to sleep, wake up late morning, and from there it's all a matter of time before one of us mentions "Pork Store" which rouses us with wonderings: "Will it be too busy? We'd better hurry."
This place gets busy, so if you can get a table- great. Everything has always been super delicious, just what the doctor ordered, yummy yummy. The breakfast links/sausages are dy-no-mite!
What I really really love about this place is when I'm lucky enough to get a spot at the counter because then I can watch the cook, who is Ah-MAZING at juggling all kinds of egg orders at once, and still with perfect results. For me, eating AND watching someone cook is like watching porn and, well, you get it.Listed in: Haight Haight Haight Haight

I live pretty close to the Pork Store Cafe so I usually beat the stand-in-line-all-morning situation, which I agree would put a damper on the experience.
I have been here a couple of times but all I can remember are the Eggs in an #@$&%*! Tasty Nest. I'm not a big breakfast person, but this was so good- huge portion, fresh veggies and are there onions in those hash browns? Delicious. This breakfast might also be one of the best hangover cures ever, it might even be able to cure other ailments - it's that good! -

I go to the pork store for breakfast more often than anyone who wants to doesn't want to die of a heart attack at 55 should. I don't regret a thing.
The huevos rancheros deluxe are seriously my favorite breakfast ever. You get a giant plate of eggs and salsa and beans and avocados and chorizo that are ostensibly supposed to be on top of some tortillas, but the size of your food eclipses the tortillas to the point where you don't even realize they exist. They come with some hash browns that are perfect.
The portions are huge enough that you can make two meals out of them. You won't want to, though. My strategy is to take half of it home in a box, and then eat the contents of that box fifteen minutes later.
Also good: eggs in a tasty nest and scralifornia. I assume everything here is great, though.
The thing is, outside of the food, the experience here is kinda lame. There's a huge line outside and their system of letting people in is less fair than at a nightclub. The tables here are useless. They tip everywhere, and you'll spill your coffee and OJ if you don't drink them really quickly. The place is also insanely understaffed, so it takes forever to get your check when you're done.
The food here is good enough to make up for anything. I literally dream about this place. -

Came here for breakfast twice.
First time - got the Breakfast Quesadilla (cant remember what they called it), and a single pancake. Pancake was average, but the quesadilla was BOMB. There was so much grease I swear you could see thru the quesadilla. Just the cure you need after a night of drinking. What really shined on the plate was the homefries. Really dig how they serve up julienne'd potatoes. It was like eating potato stix on the outside, with french fries in the middle. bomb. bomb. bomb.
Second time - got the Eggs and Hash ---- man... i could feel the grease coming out my pores on this one. It was oh-so-lovely. Corned beef hash cooked exactly how i want it (crispy on the outside, mushy on the inside). It went PERFECT with the homefries. The nice couple to the left of me offered me the rest of their bacon. I believe it was the brown-sugar caremlized bacon strips they advertised. Yeah.. pretty good too... nothing special though.
The food at this restaurant makes me wish I was in construction so I could have an excuse to eat all this grease. Maybe I could be a bricklayer or something?
Would come again -----
oh yeah - biscuits are pretty good too -- big, fluffy, buttery. Get them over the toast (the toast didnt look like nothin special). -

Food was mediocre. You know how eggs can be kind of burned and dirty tasting when the flattop isn't cleaned before they cook on it? That's what my omelette lasted like. It's cramped and you WANT it to have charm and character but it just falls short. Portions were good, service was a C-.

Don't even try going here on a weekend. This place is small and almost always jam packed.
They have this weird system of seating tables. Clearly, the larger the table, the more money- And they take this seriously to heart. Even though there was a couple in front of us and we had just arrived, we got seated at the table.... Quick. The couple was pissed. Muahaha. (Hey, they ended up with the bar top a quick five after we were seated, so no worries!)
This placed is CRAMMED. Watch ya booty. It may or may not knock over your neighbors drink. And my ass ain't even that big. The server didn't seem to like her life at that moment, which made me think how happy and grateful I was to quit my waitressing job. As long as this angry life-hatin server doesn't get in the way of my food, i'm all good.
My couple friends split the Nest thingy. I got that too, and my other friend ordered the 49er special? Biscuits and gravy with bacon and eggs, I think?
Last time I was here, I ordered the Corned Beef Hash. Hella good, too. I suggest you think twice before wiping your plate with their MOUTH WATERING BISCUIT. Come on, fatty... think about it before you shove yourself with 2 servings of Amurrican food! Well, you can walk it off to Amoeba at least... -

What an amazing place to cure a common hangover with good friends. Waited in line as you can see my my photos... so worth it! Best eggs benedict smothered in their delicious hollandaise sauce and even better bacon than I expected. Coffee was hot, orange juice was fresh, service was quick and efficient. It is packed like sardines, loud with chatter and tables are cramped, but that's what makes this place so special. A good ol' authentic Haight hole-in-the-wall here... Always going back for more!!

We were running late and needed a quick bite and the Pork Store was two doors down.
Essentially, it's like a locally owned Waffle House. You have all your traditional diner items - eggs, biscuits and gravy, steak/eggs, and hash browns. All the food was adequate, but nothing special. Great hangover food for sure. Do get the hash browns - perfectly crispy exterior giving way to some tender taters.
The service was excellent, quick and friendly.
Overall, it's a solid choice for breakfast, but definitely not destination dining. -

The first time I came here, I got their eggs in a tasty nest, which was good, but the hash browns were of the soggy variety so I didn't love it.
But a restaurant doesn't have to have 100% great dishes to deserve 5 stars, when they have something as good as the California burger, I'm never going to need to eat any of their other offerings anyway. With a vegan boyfriend, I don't often get the chance to eat a real burger, and this definitely did not disappoint. Luckily I live 350 miles away so there's no chance of me coming here every day. -

We arrived for a late breakfast, that means 10 AM. "Where you peeps come from? Go away!" No, I didn't say it but I thought it. "Stop reading those Yelp reviews, this place I want to keep quiet from the rest of society". There were 2 groups in front of us but Hubs spied 2 open seats at the counter, so we opened the door and the waitress seated us.
This time, I had the chicken fried steak. Oh, yum. Forgot to tell them to put the gravy on the side. Even yummier were the hash browns. And the hot, fresh baked biscuits which just arrived out of the oven. I never can finish their breakfasts. But, that leaves something to look forward to when you take the leftovers home.
Hubs had the eggs benedict this time and took leftovers home which was consumed hours later and declared that the PSC is his favortie breakfast place. You have to make sure your party is all there before you get seated. The woman next to hubby was about to be sent out to wait again because her hubby wasn't seated. She pleaded that he was arriving shortly because he had to run back out to get his jacket.
I am still amazed by the cooks there who work so fast and efficiently to get the meals prepared and get you out to enjoy your day.Listed in: Breakfast for Me!

The waitress was really nice. I enjoyed the general vibe of the place. How cool is it to listen to Led Zepplin and other bands from back in the day while eating a late breakfast/early lunch?! The problem I have with this place is the level of cleanliness and the food. A lot of young people eat here, so I think this may be why the reviews are so high (lack of experience, and messy rooms). IMHO this place is way overrated and is in dire need of a good cleaning. The food...well I liked my corned beef hash, but my partner said that hers tasted funny, and her hash browns were burnt, but mine were ok. When she added creamer to her coffee, she had to ask for another cup, because the creamer curdled in the cup. We went back one more time, because I had purchased 2 vouchers to eat here, so we were forced to go back again. The second time we went I got a pastrami sandwich to go, and the meat had a really funny (bad funny) taste to it, and I ended up throwing it away. I didn't get sick, so I don't know what was going on with it. My partner got a club sandwich, and she liked it. My recommendation is to eat somewhere else.

I love the Pork Store, even though there is always a line, the wait isn't ever very long. The wait staff are a tad curt, but they're very busy so I guess it's to be expected. They have a tasty menu with decent prices. I go often and as long as I'm in the hood, I'll continue to go almost every weekend.

Really goooood for breakfast. I've never had any of their lunch items. fast and friendly service. Surprisingly decent coffee. Eggs in a tasty nest is a great option.
Also, head up to the bathroom, it's not the cleanest ever, but it's an experience ;) -

This was actual one of the first few places my boyfriend brought me when we first started dating, and I was absolutely in love with this place. It was crowded when I went there, but that's for a reason. My mouth was already drooling before we even sat down.
I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was absolutely a delight. The portion was great because I was stuffed and still had some leftover. I forgot what my boyfriend got, but I snuck a bite and his was also delicious.
I would definitely love to go back to this place again. -

My friend and I were planning to shop around Haight so I took her here to get lunch. It was maybe 20 minutes til closing time so we were pretty worried but they seated us and gave us menus.
We weren't too hungry so we decided to split an order of the California burger with fries. I got the lemonade for myself to drink and my friend got the orange juice.
The lemonade was as delightful as I remembered. I love their lemonade because they make it themselves and they make it well. The burger was as great as I remembered it to be as well. The fries weren't that great though, just because they went soggy and limp after a few minutes.
I still love this place though. The place itself has a lot of history and it serves great burgers!4 Previous Reviews: Show all »

Mission, San Francisco, CA
Average fare, attentive service, reasonable price, air thick with grease.
This hit the spot, but it's nothing to write home about. I had the breakfast diner standard: pancakes, bacon, and eggs (called "The Piggy Special" here). It satisfied the craving, but was pretty average in every way. The exception would be the coffee, which could generously described as mediocre. -

I love eating here for a random weekday breakfast. The food is very tasty. Had the eggs in a tasty nest just because I figured try something other than an omelet. It was fantastic and I'd recommend it to anyone. I also thought that the Bitter Root Ham Scram was a great choice too. My recommendation, if your going to be in the area on a slow weekday, stop in. The weekend crowd is big, but the food would be worth the wait.

My boyfriend and I were slightly hungover (well I was hungover) after a night of drunken weirdness and wanted some breakfast...particularly pancakes. It was 2pm and most places were closed or about to close but we found PSC on Yelp and were thrilled that it was open till 4 on Sunday's.
Drove over to the Haight. Managed to find parking within 5 mins of arriving and trekked to PSC. We walked in and sat ourselves at the bar. Immediately I was drooling over the mountain of crispy hash browns sitting on the griddle. We ended up ordering biscuits and sausage gravy, the piggie special (w/pancakes, eggs, and sausage), and a cheese omelette.
Service was attentive and friendly. Food came out quickly and piping hot. We loved everything especially the hash browns, pancakes (dense and delicious), and the sausage (sweet, savory, scrumptious sausage patty). Everything was the sh*t! -

My FAVORITE diner brunch place. No frills, straight forward breakfast. There is always a line on the weekends because it is a small place, but their servers are organized and they turn tables quickly. I typically try to get there before 11am.
I have been known to order the Eggs in a Tasty Nest, Western Omelette and the Two Egg Breakfast with Chicken Apple Sausage (no, not all at once!). Despite the fact it is across the city from where I live, I never hesitate to make my way over there! -

It was a casual afternoon in the haight and I was having a craving for some piggy. I looked up and there it was, Pork Store Cafe. I thought my prayers had been answered and I was very excited. (and started drooling uncontrollably) So I walked ponied myself up to a bar stool and tried to decide what I would start with.
The place has a really cool old diner vibe with a really friendly bar area. The service was fantastic and operated like a well oiled machine. I wish I could say the same for the food.
I ordered the pork chop and it was just okay, maybe even not that good. It was incredibly dry and I could barley cut it with my knife. I was sadly disappointed and my piggy craving was left unsatiated. :(
Although, for a place with a name like the Pork Store deserves a second chance. I'll be back to see if it was just and off day. -

oink oink oink!
I love to dine on my fellow brethren...being born in the year of the pig I realized I love pork as much as I love my fellow cows.
But whats this?! I went to the Pork Store Cafe and had very little pork! Instead I had a large portion of hash browns with two eggs whose yolks broke open and spread their tasty yellow goodness all over. They called this the eggs in a nest?! or something like that. Doesnt matter what it was called! What matters is that I devoured it and didnt care so much about the sausage/bacon on the side. Even the biscuit with the gravy, down the hatch.
The hashbrowns so nice and crunchy and not in the shape of a flat square block of fishcake! The eggs nice and big with yolks that were yellow like the sun. mmmmm breakfast...how I enjoy it so.
One thing I realized about breakfast was that, there are so many items to choose from and when you decide to pick one thing there is so much of it that you get too full from trying the other items. I wish there was like a breakfast sampler, something that included all of the above from corn beef hash all the way to blueberry pancakes.
yea im a fat ass I know... -

This place is hoppin! It's always packed so understand you will have a breif wait. But worth it! My mouth waters for this place at the mear mention of it.
I get the Southwestern Scrable. It's scrambled eggs with a mix in of perfect cut up sasage and melty cheese, topped with sour cream. Almost every plate gets a heaping serving of hash browns, this are sometimes awesome and sometimes just ok. Then I get a small stack of the bannana walnut pancakes, I can only eat a few bites, but they are oh so yummy for later at home.
I take all my out of town friends here and they all tell me how lucky I am to have a place like this in my life...and I sure am! -

If you are in the mood for some good, greasy, counter cooked breakfast or lunch food then this is your place. Its small and cozy and the wait can get a bit long at times, but its so worth it. Everything comes out HOT and in a very timely manor. If you are in the Haight and looking to get some good food then you should check this place out. A must eat while you are in the city, for sure!

When I read some of the bad reviews I was a little worried. Turns out you should ignore the doubters! The food was great and the service was fine. We got there shortly after opening so no line. An hour later and people were 20 deep out the door. Also across the street is a mural of the 27 club (if you don't know, google it) on what was once Jimi Hendrix apartment.

Stopped in at 3 PM on Sunday November 13th, 2011 and immediately found a seat at the counter. After reviewing the selections, I chose the country fried steak with scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and biscuits (completely forgot to order a side of gravy).
Watching the short order cooks - make this meal was an experience in itself. On one side of the line - one of the cooks is whipping out the egg dishes one by one. As the cook is scrambling and plating the eggs - the second cook is pulling the country fried steak out of the deep fryer adding the gravy to the steak and plating it along with adding the hashbrowns.
Country Fried Steak was cooked well - I have had better versions elsewhere in the city but it still tasted well. Eggs were spot on and the hashbrowns were tasty and slightly browned which was a nice touch.
Overall, it took about 10 to 15 minutes from ordering to recieving my meal - which was quite impressive. $9.25 for the meal along with $0.75 for tax brought it to an even $10.
I recommend this place if you are in the area! -

Eggs in a Tasty Nest.
Fantastic cafe. It was funny how we stumbled upon this place. My boyfriend and I were visiting his friend in SF (we're from SoCal) and it was late in the morning, I was feeling for some eggs and hashbrowns. We were actually heading towards a restaurant my friend recommended, and I was way too hungry to continue walking any further when we saw customers sitting outside this restaurant with their plates looking SOOOO delicious. I told my boyfriend, "That does it, we're eating here."
He checked on yelp and said that we're safe here, because this place got 4 out of 5 stars. I sighed with relief. My rare opportunity in SF and I'm going to be stuck with a bad restaurant experience? No way.
We saw that Eggs in a Tasty Nest was the most popular, so that was what I ordered. It came out DELICIOUS, not only in looks, but taste. It was heaven all mixed in one plate. This totally made my morning. I would definitely recommend it to others and I will definitely come back when I'm in NorCal again. -

Did I forget to drink the Kool-Aid before coming here? I mean, I ate food, it didn't make me sick, I'd go back if in the area (you know, if I visit home again), but I wasn't WOWED.
It takes a lot for breakfast food to stand out to me. Even with my hectic busy schedule, even I can make a breakfast. On a good morning, I may even make it for someone else. Haley's Comet may occur more frequently, but it happens. Oh right....Pork Store...so, yeah, IMPRESS ME with the breakfast! Even if I'm too hungover to have high standards. Or any standards.
So yeah, I actually went in here with low-to-no standards.
Look, I get it. It's popular. If you wait until 10:30 AM on a Sunday, it'll have long lines. For the most part, they try to get customers in and out as quickly as possible. One way they get around this is by pairing up couples at tables of four. I approve of this. Most people do. And a note for the other customers, "Notice that long ass line down the block? Yeah, those are hungry and hungover people waiting for your fucking table. Stop dilly dallying and poking each other with your smartphone Facebook apps and finish your damn breakfast and get the hell out of the restaurant!"
Damn, I'm cranky. I had this breakfast nearly a month ago and I'm still a little rattled by it. I'm not even editing or breaking up that run-on sentence in the previous paragraph.
I had eggs, and biscuits and gravy. I really wanted the fried chicken. However, I couldn't because the waitress was unable to tell me anything more telling about their frying oil than calling it "vegetable oil." So not going to take that chance. The biscuits and gravy were actually rather decent. And they should've been. The gravy contains pork and I would hope that a restaurant named "Pork Store Cafe" would do pork well.
Well, it's a good thing that the biscuits and gravy were decent because that's actually all I ate. "But, Michelle, you ordered eggs. Why didn't you eat them?" you ask. Well, I ordered them over easy. I am aware that this is on the lower-cooked end of the egg cooking spectrum. Only the yolk is supposed to be runny. Not the white. That's right, Yelpers. I cut my fork into the white of my eggs and some runny-ass, white, watery, uncooked, protein goo oozed out of them. HELLO! NOT FUCKING COOKED....LIKE....AT ALL! (Yeah, that's about the only useful thing I will ever say with my biochemistry degree). And, I actually did want to rectify this by getting new eggs, but the waitress kinda disappeared. Forever. By the time we were able to find her and get her attention, everyone was done and I didn't care anymore.
I get that the place is popular and busy. I get that this is overwhelming on waitstaff. I mean, Pediatrics recently published a journal article about toddlers who get too overwhelmed by watching "Spongebob Squarepants" and then they can't do normal cognitive functions. I imagine waiting tables here is kinda the same and I would probably get overwhelmed too. So, I have to be pretty pissed off to rag on service. But really? To disappear? Like, we wanted coffee refills and stuff too. If the food stood out and was loud-orgasm-in-public good, I'd care less about the service because the food stood alone.
So yeah. Shrug. -

I love this place!
We woke up very hungover and with a pregnant lady classified craving for meat. We passed crepes on cole and for some reason this morning the apple sausage and the crispy bacon just wouldn't cut it.
We decided to try the pork store.
There was quite a long line but it took us less than 15 minutes to get in. In the beginning the waitresses seemed very unpleasant, walking away while you were still talking to them and just disappearing in thin air every other word, but then magic happened.
All the stuff we've been ordering showed up, and they wouldn't let our coffee mug get bellow half. They were just overworked and they became nicer after the order were on the table.
We had the piggie special, the chorizo something and the biscuits with gravy.
The piggie special had 2 apple sausages dripping in awesomeness, 2 scrambled eggs and 2 slices of delicious french toast topped with sliced banana and blueberries (they were after drowned in maple syrup). The Chorizo thingy had tons of beans, chorizo slices, onion, tomato, baked potato and 4 slices of toast drenched in butter (delicious!). As for the biscuits it was the first time I had such thing, I guess is quite common (or at least I was told so) and I enjoyed it very much, have no idea what it is made of though. -

Big fan of this place. It's got that classic diner feel and the service is extraordinary. There's often a line out the door in the morning. If you haven't experienced the Pork Store Cafe, then you had better. It's traditionally served breakfast with heaping portions of breakfast food. It doesn't get any better with the smell of fresh coffee and saddling up to the breakfast bar next to the hippie doused with patchouli oil next to you. All types come to this restaurant so it's an ideal place for people watching.

We watched TV show "Check Please" and found this place received the rave reviews from the show so we decided to come here today.
We called earlier and they told us that "if you get here by 8.30 am.(Sunday), you should be fine .... after that, we always have a long line". So we arrived around 8.15 am. There was no line and the food service was so fast. There were 6 of us and within 10 mins, after they took our orders, our food got served.
The food was bit heavy for me but I think this how the good Southern breakfast is done. I would not and could not have this kind of breakfast everyday but once in a while ....definitely. -

Wow, you sure do employ some retards here. The waitress was nothing short of an idiot. I would have given this place 5 stars because I have had great food here before, but the idiot waitress assigning tables dropped it down to 1.
Happily waited in line (two out of 4 of our group). Got to the front of the line, saw a table with 4 chairs getting cleaned up and were asked how many in our party. I stated that we had 4 people, but the other 2 haven't arrived yet. The dumbass told me that we couldn't get a table until the remainder of the party arrived. No worries though, because there was no one else in line and the table is clearly set up for 4 people (one of the tables by the window). A moment later, two rude idiots walk past us, come up to the waitress, and she gives away the table for 4 to these inbreeds. I quickly rush to the back of the restaurant to express my discontent. Her answer? "The rest of your group isn't here." Really? Then why couldn't we (two of us) have been given that table like the ones that walked past us?
Pork Store Cafe, you have great food, but your incompetent and clearly stupid staff ruined it. -

Came here for lunch... not knowing what to expect since we were in the area. lol.
The restaurant is small, and somewhat cozy. Opens until late-afternoon. Not too bad.
Ordered a chicken breast burger. It came with cheddar cheese, bun, tomato slice, lettuce and onions. It was pretty tasty! (: Chicken breast was tender and the cheddar cheese made it even more delicious.
It came with.. what I would like to say, fresh-cut French fries? Score. I haven't had fries in a while and I don't normally eat fries either, so these were definitely a treat for me. (: Hehehe.
You also have the option of ordering a salad in place of the fries, but the fries are good. (: -

The Pork Store Cafe is one of my mom's favorite places and every time she comes to San Francisco, this restaurant is a must.
Over the years, I've noticed some changes on the menu, which I appreciate as a vegetarian. Now, there's a entire section devoted to vegetarian and vegan entrees.
The Pork Store Cafe is definitely one of those breakfast/brunch places where you can spend $10, get a huge plate of hearty breakfast, and cure your hangover. They have every breakfast item you can imagine, plus an array of burgers, sandwiches, etc. -

Here is what I learned about San Francisco cafes:
You either get there early enough or late enough.
Which translates to get there as soon as they open or as they are about to close. The in-between is just a big sh*tshow of waiting in lines.
Hungover and having woken up at 1pm, I needed major starch and sausage. Did a Yelp (duh) search and Pork Store came up. I must have had a mouthgasm right then and there because I was relentless and freaked out a lot about going and going soon because they will be closing in a couple of hours' time.
Got there around 2:45PM-
Line: Not long because everyone had already eaten their late breakfast/early lunch. 15 mins wait max.
Food:
They are not kidding when they named this place the pork store.
The sausage patty is legit- greasy and tasty. Just the way I like it.
Had Eggs in Tasty Nest which was a little too tasty that with the sausage, but f*ck it I'm hungover hungry. Nothing gets in the way of Hungover Hungry.
All in all; the food coma that resulted was blissful. -

Came for lunch with one of my closest friends. He had this craving for a country fried steak and we scoured through yelp to find a place. Half an hour later we come across this little store, Pork Store Cafe in the bustling Haight street district.
It is by no means, easy to find parking in this area, but I'm not gonna take points off for that because I know this is always a busy area for pop-culture shopping, hookahs/smoke shops, and tourist attractions. It's right off of Masonic so it's pretty easy to get here by bus, either the 43 or 71 and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head. The store is a little bit on the smaller side, but it wasn't packed and we got seated easily.
My friend had the country-fried steak that he had a craving for, and I had the Eggs Benedict because I didn't eat breakfast (and come on, breakfast foods are good ALL day, especially at midnight lol). Waited a bit and watched a bunch of interesting tourists and locals pass by the windows and our food came out pretty timely. When the plates came, it didn't look like much food, but don't be fooled. Fresh cut potatoes for the hash brown on both plates, nice big slabs of cubed beef for the country-fried steaks, warm fresh baked biscuits (we came at a really good time lol). My plate had the nice fresh biscuit, ham, poached eggs, and smothered in that delicious hollandaise sauce. Everything together, was fantastic. I had a bite of my friends country-fried steak, and it did NOT disappoint. I especially liked the gravy this place makes.
Service was okay, I did see the lady that served us give weird looks to some other customers who were just walking in and out of the place and taking up space which I can sympathize with, although unacceptable to do regardless. She gave us plenty of refills on water and didn't disturb at all which is one thing that annoys me at other places.
Prices are pretty moderate, $10+ for a very good meal with great portions. You can also head down and find Ben&Jerry's Ice Cream off the corner across the street for dessert (if you have the room for it that is).
Will DEFINITELY be back in the future. -

Amaze balls. We sat at the "bar" to watch the food get made, and also to get in ad out quicker. Service was great, and it was pretty cool to watch the kitchen work so well together. "A well oiled Machine" is true on many levels here. :-) I got the "Eggs in a Tasty nest" - highly recommend. :-) Enjoy!
Also, this place is a dive, so don't be an uptight jerk face. :-) -

LOVE IT!!! We have been here several times. There is almost always a wait, but the line moves very quickly. I love their seating policy, you must all physically be there to sit. It totally helps keep the tables turning from one group to the next. If you love eggs beni try the Green Benedict. This is a little slice of heaven and a piece of SF history too as this place has been here forever. The staff are super friendly, and they are always on top of it! This place is a must for any one who lives or is just passing through.

Thanks Yelpers. Pork Store Cafe brings out a big hearty breakfast for your shopping and SF Giants game day. There's a quick turnaround with the tables and counter space so you're not waiting too long in line for a table.
The food comes out super quick, the plates are super big and the coffee's good! Try your breakfast with the yummy biscuit. Hash browns are super awesome too.
Don't sit at the counter if you're faint at heart for greasey meals. You shouldn't be eating at P.S.C. if you have a bad heart...everything is greasey here. Don't look at how they make your French toast, sausages and hash browns...lol. Good stuff for super fast, hearty and yummy comforting breakfast!
Minus a star for the heavy seat waitress who was seating everyone that looked and had an attitude like she woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning....your piss poor attitude should stay at home and not in the workplace and with the customers.
