I had an excellent experience with Ponce. We had a small job that needed fixing right away. The waterproofers were out to seal a section of our foundation and when they started digging, they found a section of house that was wood that had to be removed and concrete set over it. I needed this fixed right away so we could proceed with the waterproofing. Ramon Ponce answered my call right away and came out that afternoon. He gave us a really good price then completed the job first thing the next day. The work was first class. It's obvious they care about customer service and doing the job right. I'd recommend them without hesitation.

Hired PB to install a new sidewalk alongside an existing garage. Ramon was punctual, helpful, and attentive throughout the process. The work was done on time, for the agreed price, and without incident. The final sidewalk was detailed well and looks great. I will definitely keep PB in mind for future work.

They came in way under our other bids to lay down new sidewalk in our courtyard. We had massive pooling of rain water before his work and none now. That was our number one goal. Ramon was very responsive to our requests as the job progressed and to fixes we asked for in the end. For the price, they are an excellent vendor.

Ramon and his crew went above and beyond my expectations. I pictured a design in my head and it turned out even better than I imagined. They worked tirelessly until they finished and even made a recommendation I ended up loving. The final work product was great, I can not wait to use them again to complete my backyard.
I will definitely recommend Ramon to anyone who is in search of a hard worker who can complete the job in a a timely manner for a reasonable price.

Ramon and his crew showed up about an hour after I called and gave a very reasonable estimate to repair my stairs and garage floor. They were back the next day and really went above and beyond the repair job they quoted to me. The final work product was beyond my expectations. My neighbors have all stopped by to comment on how nice the stairs look.
They were on time both days and called when they were on the way. I will be using Ponce again and have already recommended them to friends. -

My condo association needed to have our front steps replaced and a new sidewalk installed to replace the marginal work that the original developer did. I realize that finding a contractor on Craig's List is pretty much a crap shoot, but didn't know where else to turn. I meet with three contractors and received bids from each with Ponce Builders being the only one to submit a written bid outlining the scope of work to be done. This and the fact that the other cement contractors were willing to acquiesce to my likely ill conceived money saving shortcuts whereas Ponce was not garnered them a better reputation in my associations eyes.
The work was done quickly and the owners and crew were quite accommodating and did a good job cleaning up the construction debris. Their lead cement finisher was a bit of a perfectionist and did a fantastic job. Sadly the neighborhood kids managed to drop a kickball into the finished sidewalk about ten minutes after the workers had left, but what are you going to do. All things considered from price to quality I'm very happy with the job that Ramon and his crew did. -

Nobody better at concrete. Nobody.
We had an awkward project that involved moving the door into our basement, digging a new space for new steps (by hand) on the side of the house, cutting through 10 inches of foundation for the new door, pouring a section of new foundation to replace where the old door was removed, trenching for new drains that needed to be connected to the main drain, and then creating new concrete steps. We received a number of quotes and ideas on how to pull this off in a small space. Ramon was the guy. A reasonable bid and, more importantly, the best ideas. He and his crew, including Alex and Noe, were courteous, professional, quick, and thorough. It was a pleasure to have them working onsite. (And we've worked with a LOT of contractors over the years.) Not only did they do an amazing job, they also took away all of the extra dirt and clay from the dig at our request.
Ramon was also very tech-proficient, and I received prompt and professional replies to my emails on the mornings when I couldn't be at the house to supervise.

There was a big crack on the concrete walkway in front of my condo building which I have been putting off fixing it for years. Finally I couldn't stand looking at it anymore and decided to call around for quotes. I talked to Ramon on the phone. He was professional, very knowledgeable about concrete work and was able to address all my concerns in details. He came out to confirm an estimate and I received a written estimate over email on the same day. Their price was very reasonable. I was able to schedule the work within a week. Not only that he confirmed the time of arrival the day before but also he and his crew arrived exactly at the time he promised. The majority of the work completed in a day and the whole process was smooth and worry-free. It is so hard to find good and reliable contractors and I believe I found one finally. Highly recommend Ponce Builders!

Ramon and his guys did a bang up job on my 3-flat's chimney that was in dire need of repair. Did it for a very fair price and the work looks great. Plan on hiring again for our next project.

I have a six unit in Bridgeport that needed a small concrete patio. I called 3 companies and there price was right in the middle. Ramon & his crew were great. They came out and ripped the old concrete out and poured the new one all in one day. I couldn't believe how fast they were. Very professional & informative. It's been 2 yrs and not a single crack in my patio. That's why I called them back this year to do the walk ways at my home. Same thing this time around reasonable price & really fast. Look no further if your looking for a concrete or masonry contractors. Thank you Ramon & the guys.
