A shorter course (5897 yd from the whites) with many elevation changes Pohick Bay is an enjoyable challenge. Beware Hole 13 which is a par 5. Although rated as one of the easier holes on the course I found the blind dogleg right over the hill and the following water hazard to be intimidating. Also beware of bees on the 2nd green. For some reason they were everywhere. The fairways and greens were immaculate through out all 18 holes.
