I just had to stop coming here. period. The staff is kind and sweet but that does not hide the fact that they are a bit disorganized and have a hard time keeping up with all their members. I originally used a groupon thinking I can go to the nearest one to my home but no, turns out the only location out of the 4 that is open is the one on Hammerly road. I wish I had known that before purchasing the deal but hey, no refunds and I had already told my kids about it.
We came here and everything seemed ok, until June when they only had camp members and not regular class students. Then After our vacations and seeing that regular classes resumed we attended class once again however all the students were new and my kids felt left out.
This class was mostly for fun, however I was hoping that my kids would benefit more than just playful interaction since their regular soccer season resumes later in the fall.
If you just want your kids to play and get to know other kids, this is great for them but in my case I was hoping to get more than just playing time. More like staying fit, learn life skills, and discipline.

THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM!

First of all, I bought the Groupon for 20 classes, 2 private lessons, and uniform. I forget how much I paid but it wasn't much. I was excited to start my four year old in martial arts and thought this would be a good introduction.

The Groupon states you need to call and make an appointment so I called and spoke to a man who said to come in that Friday. I come in on Friday, not knowing what to expect, but the woman at the desk says he's not coming in. I'm irritated now that we've driven 45 minutes in traffic to arrive and be told the owner would not be coming in for a scheduled appointment! Anyway, not wanting to leave and waste my time I ask her what we can do. She proceeds to tell me we need to pay a registration fee of $50. I tell her that the Groupon said nothing about this fee and she told me it was in the fine print. I assure her I've read it and I didn't see anything about a fee. She tells me she see's it on her phone. Anyway, she asks for my phone to try and point out this fee business, and she can't find it! She says "oh it's probably on the website". Feeling like I'm being scammed but not wanting to back out, knowing how excited my son is, I reluctantly pay the $50 fee. We're given the calendar and told what classes he can come to.

Fast forward to the next week, we come in for my sons first class. This class is for beginners 3-5 years old. We're told to come early so we can get the uniform. I come early and no one was there! They opened up as soon as the class was supposed to start, at 4. She tells me the owner hasn't brought the uniforms. My son was the only one that showed up. The instructor was patient with him but we were only there for 10 mins! This was supposed to be a 45 min class! I brush it off thinking it's probably because he's the only kid here and it's his first lesson.

We come back for the hyper class ages 3-8 and are quickly told he's too young and not ready for this class! Clearly! So we've wasted our time driving here for nothing. At this point I'm fed up and just leave, not wanting to get upset in front of my son.

I feel totally scammed and used by this business. We showed up for 2 classes and we were never given a uniform. Never saw or met the owner. This is NOT how you conduct a business by lying to people and misleading them. They tricked me into paying the $50 fee and we've only gone to 2 classes. I'm considering it a lesson learned on my part and will not be going back.

I wish I would have read the reviews on this business before buying the Groupon, but Groupon doesn't make it clear the business' name. I would have never bought the Groupon or given this business a chance if I had read the reviews here.

Tried canceling classes due to no a/c inside and it being overly crowded. They were nice about it and said that was fine, but obviously it wasn't. Be sure to cancel your debit cards if you ever quit going here because they will continue to charge you and won't help you resolve the issue. If your deciding on the one in Pasadena, I highly recommend that one they are much better.

Can you give this place negative starts... I got a groupon deal for my son (we ended up getting a refund). I could never get answer/callback from this place. i couldn't even tell you if it really exists. My bad experience wont necessarily be yours; but i suggest that you save your time & money... go elsewhere.

This guy is one of the best in Houston my son started training in a garage with him when he was 8 by the time he was in high school some kids tried to bully him he knew exactly how to defend himself. The man is truly gifted when it comes to training has put out some real us team members in TKD not no bull crap school ohh and let's not forget jesus is a golden gloves champion as well so his credentials are legit.

Bought a Groupon thinking what a great deal! $34 for 20 classes 2 privates and uniform! Get there and am asked how I will be paying for registration. Um, I called you guys before I made this purchase and no mention of an extra fee. How much is it? $75! Twice the Groupon I think not! I don't start any relationship on trickery. A man outside that had heard what happen said same had happen to him. No buddy likes being treated this way!!!! It is bad Business!!!! On the good side Groupon took it back no problem and my daughter will soon start dance class.

I would not recommend giving your bank information for monthly debits. After attending for a few months I signed my daughter up for a monthly fee. I was told she could cancel anytime. In April 2018 my daughter only attended one session becuz she got real busy w school activities. I went ahead and cancelled the end of April. I told them that I understand if you charge me for May, as I didn't give a month's notice. I specifically asked, do you need me to fill out a form and make this official? I was told that after May there would be no more charges. They charged me for June, July, and August. I didn't realize this until the end of July. My husband and I went to the studio and they apologized and said we would be credited the following week. I kept checking my bank account and the, the 1rst week of August they CHARGED me again. We go back every week and still no credit, only excuses and explanations. This has never happened to me ever. Now it's mid September and still no payback for stealing my money. We all make mistakes and I could understand one or 1 mistakes, but they still refuse to pay us our money nor have we received any credit. I would not recommend this place to anyone
