WOW! These guys are GREAT!
I was unable to get access into my computer due to a power surge; so I thought at the time, so I decided to look on Yelp for help. When I saw the 5 star rating for this company I decided to check them out.
When I arrived I was greeted very promptly by Katie who was very warm and inviting. I explained what had occurred causing my computer not to work, while Katie wrote down everything I said. She was very professional and made me feel I was in good hands. Leaving my computer there, she assured me I would be notified with their findings within 24 hours.
The next day I spoke with Gabe; the computer technician working on my computer. He mention he was able to get access to my desktop without any problems, and found nothing wrong whatsoever. I had arranged to pick up my computer later that morning, during which time Gabe was going to do a few more test just in case.
When I arrived to pick up my computer, Gabe came out to greet me. He was very professional explaining everything he did to try and find out why this happened to me. After all was said and done, he never charged me for the service...WOW! How refreshing to come across an honest company who thinks about building relationships with their customers...and not trying to gouge them.
I will definitely be going back for ALL my computer needs. Thanks!

My wife's hp laptop had a 250GB hard drive that was running out of space. As i consider myself quite the computer wiz (much to my wife's chagrin), I decided to upgrade it myself. The lowest price I could find online for a 1TB drive was 180 and a data clone kit for another 40.
When I called Pleasanton Computer Repair, Gabe said he could do it $215 (140 for the drive and 75 to copy the data over to the new one). And he could do it in the same day in a couple of hours.
So it turned out to be cheaper and faster than doing it myself. (I pretended not to notice the look of relief on my wife's face).
Took it to Pleasanton computer repair and true to their word, they replaced the hard drive and copied the data over in just under three hours!

My roommate being a computer wiz tried to make my computer faster and ended up causing more problems than he fixed. I took my computer into Pleasanton Computer Repair in downtown pleasanton and they checked out for free! They fixed all of the startup programs and even set me up with a new battery for my coputer because that was another issue i was having. I recommending that all of my family and friends send their computer repairs to Pleasanton Computer Repair from now on!

They are dependable, affordable and fast... They saved my PC from a virus and cleaned it up. When I received my PC is was very fast, much like when I bought it. I will use them again if I happen to need a professional guy.

Who loves dealing with broken laptops?? I definitely don't. I've been procrastinating on getting my sound-less laptop fixed because I don't want to spend my money on fixing it. I would rather get a new one to be honest with you.
There is a computer God...I found this place while I was browsing for a small business owned company through Yelp. Yelp always saves the day, I swear!
Total Computer Solutions is a great alternative place if you don't want to spend $300 at the Geek Squad. My laptop's volume went berserk and Gabe, was able to fix it without charging me as much as the Geeks would have charged me! He only asked for $100, which is a steal.
Now my laptop's volume finally work. Kudos to Gabe and team!

So here's the deal. Went to Apple's Genius Bar to get my computer fixed. Apple would fix it for free with my AppleCare Protection Plan but they wouldn't do the data recovery. They gave me the business card of a place that specializes in data recovery and said it would cost $800-$900. I wanted to look for places myself.
Called up this place and Gabe was extremely helpful and patient throughout the entire process. They said it would cost around $800 but it was prorated for the percentage of material I wanted, so I told them which folders I wanted most and which stuff I didn't care for. They retrieved all the information I requested for $350. They also sold me a 1TB external hard drive with case for $150. So $500 total for the recovery and a 1TB external drive. They even put the recovered data on the 1TB drive. Perfect. My only complaints were that it took quite a while and the place is somewhat difficult to find.
Thanks Gabe and the TCS Team. 5 stars for the extremely kind service and reasonable pricing. -

Cant say enough good things about Gabe and this company.
I had a HUGE problem with my computer and lets just say that Gabe took the time and effort to sit down with me and explain not only exactly what was wrong but how not to make the same mistakes again ... which most companies I've dealt with dont take the time to do.
I would recommend TCS's services to anyone that needs computer or network help! -

My computer kept making odd noises and after trying unsuccessfully to diagnose online with Acer support I took it in to Gabe. It turned out both the fan on the video card was going bad (that was the noise) and also the hard drive had errors. Gabe worked directly with Acer to get them to ship the warranty parts to him and he installed the parts and reconfigured everything in a jiffy. They are very friendly and professional. If you visit the store, enter off W. Angela.
At a later visit I brought in a laptop that had a missing key. I had another (dead) laptop with the same keyboard but couldn't figure out how to attach it so took it in to PCR. They charged me $35 to pop the key on which I thought was pretty excessive for a very quick, small job that didn't involve any parts or diagnostics, so I'm changing my rating to a "4". -

This little shop is perfect! My computer had viruses and issues that I could not handle. I was hestitant to take my computer somewhere instead of having them come to my home, but I Iistened to Gabe describe how efficient it is to have a scan running on another while he works on one and vice versa. I understand that, so I took it to the shop. Like an honest Auto Body shop is hard to find - so is a dilligent, comprhensive, no flaws, no problems computer repair shop. But here is one! In ptown! Thanks Gabe and Lola!

Had my Apple MacBook Hard Drive fail, took it to P-town repair. Greg was able to diagnose the problem and helped me get my "AppleCare" replacement. Best part was he did this very Fast. Who knew how rough life was without a computer. He then was able to recover most of my lost HD data. I will remember to back up next time.... Thank you P-town computer repair!!!! If i need help again you are my first stop.
