We were blessed to have fantastic vendors for our wedding (6/20/10) but Dan was one of our favorites! He was a DJ, MC, and day-of coordinator all in one! He kept us on our schedule without being pushy and was so calm and relaxed about everything that it helped to keep me calm!
From what my wedding party told me, he discussed some ceremony logistics with them shortly after he arrived so that my bridesmaids and groomsmen knew when to walk etc...
As far as music selection, he played something for guests of all ages and happily took requests.
We didn't even meet Dan until the day of our wedding so I was a little anxious about what to expect personality-wise, but he was great. Personable, friendly, prompt, professional, easy-going...and more!
The day went by super fast, but thanks to Dan our event was seamless and was memorable to boot! -

Dan Doyle DJ'd our 7/3/11 wedding at the Garden Pavilion and we cannot say enough good things about him. We only spoke to him on the phone twice and a few times over email, and he delivered exactly what we wanted for our day. We had spent several months creating a bit of a custom playlist, and Dan worked easily with our non-traditional song requests, while incorporating our guests' needs and reading the crowd perfectly. He checked in with us periodically over the night, keeping the mood and our happiness as his top priority. We love DJ Dan!

DJ Dan was our DJ and karaoke guy for our rehearsal dinner in Sonoma last week. He was one of our best vendors of the entire wedding - easy to work with, responsive to emails, helpful in all capacities (even outside of music), affordable. He ensured that our guest stayed fully entertained by perfectly managing our song line-ups. Can't say enough about Dan...would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Dan also played at our wedding just a few weeks ago -- and my wife and I were very happy with everything he organized for us. The simple site / link provided includes a super-wide variety of music, from the dodgy music my wife wanted to the cool, sweet, sultry tunes I was most interested in including.
At the event, Dan queued up everything we were looking for and created the exact environment we were looking for -- including low-key, background music to not drown out the lively conversations over dinner to the equally lively dancing to wrap the big event. Dancing continued throughout the end of the event, and I'd totally recommend Dan for any wedding situation you might have.
I'd most certainly recommend DJ Dan for your next important event. -

I can only speak to Dan's communication and his quote. I considered him as a close 2nd to another DJ that had been recommended to me by a friend. Dan's quote was the least expensive "official and professional" DJ service that I received. But after all was said and done I decided to go with the DJ my friend referred to me because I had experienced his work first hand at her wedding. But if it weren't for that I would have definitely hired Dan.

I had the honor of having Ken deejay my wedding. He did both the ceremony and reception and he was amazing! He was very pleasant to work with and there was always a lot of people on the dance floor. As a bride, he worked with me very well. My friend tried to change the father-daughter dance song as a joke and thank goodness Ken checked with me first! All of my friends keep commenting what an awesome DJ I had. I've always heard that a DJ makes a wedding, and Ken certainly made mine a great time. I can't thank him enough!!!!

We hired Mr. Doyle for an awards dinner we held at a private venue in the Portola Valley hills. First and foremost his professionalism throughout the entire process was remarkable and I felt very comfortable with him right off the bat. I came in to meeting him with the idea that DJ's can be slimy or 'cheesy', but he quickly changed my train of thought.
When it came to his handling of our actual event, he delivered everything as we had discussed. The music was top notch, met our diverse musical tastes and he did a wonderful job of keeping us all entertained and dancing.
Completely plan to use Mr. Doyle's services again in the future and would gladly recommend him to anyone needing his services. -

DJ Dan is the man! He did a great job at our wedding. I absolutely LOVE his interactive website that lets you choose what songs you want AND DON'T want played....it's great! Really, I don't know what I would have done without him, he coordinated the whole evening, made sure we where on track with the timeline and kept me informed, He also facilitated my aunt singing our first dance song which was awesome! Not to mention, he did a great job as the MC, he kept everyone interested and entertained and he was able to judge the crowd and choose appropriate music from our lists to play.

Dan did our wedding in Redwood Shores. I could not have been happier. I was looking for a dj who was classy, not cheesy, and wanted my guests to have a great time dancing without a dj hassling them to dance all night. I got exactly what I wanted and more. Everyone danced all night. Dan had so much music to choose from -- even rare trakcs -- and totally understood the vision I had. He was classy in his emceeing, kept us on track time-wise for the events of the evening. And the price was right! I recommend him to everyone I know who's planning a wedding. Thanks again Dan!!

We hired Dan after attending a wedding he DJ'ed at Headlands Center for the Arts. That wedding was incredible -- we danced so hard we broke lights in the floor below us. He did not disappoint at our own wedding the following year -- no broken lights but everybody danced until we got kicked out (young and old guests, living it up). The company is great to work with, so easy to make requests before the event and during, great read of the crowd...highly recommended!

Dan did a fantastic job with our wedding! He played the perfect mix of music for the different portions of the evening and once the dance party began he had all our guests (of all ages) on the dance floor for the entire evening! I would definitely recommend Dan.

We had our wedding on August. 9th 2008 in San Francisco.
Platinum Entertainment Group was great! They were really hands on when it came to making us happy. They even helped us plan a time line for our wedding and gave us great ideas that had nothing to do with our music. ( we needed advice because our attempt at a timeline was a mess) lol
This company really cares about the success of your wedding- you can tell within 5 minutes of talking to them.
We really wanted Italian music at our wedding so they made a pretty large mix of all of our favorites (even though some of the songs weren't even in their play-list) they got it for us, no problem.
Our DJ came to our reception about 1 hour before we needed him, he was well prepared, fun and very friendly. (my female guests especially loved him)
Many things went "wrong" at our wedding, but so many things went right! PEG was one of our best wedding vendors. No stress, everything we wanted. Very reasonable prices, too.
I'd hire them again! (maybe for our 5 or ten year anniversary party) :) -

Platinum Entertainment was introduced to us by Accents Photography and we were extremely pleased with our DJ Dan ;-) He was extremely professional and up beat through out the entire wedding and kept extreme care to follow the timeline of events throughout the night ,which was very important to us. Dan also did an excellent job of keeping our guests entertained and interested in all our songs and dances. Their website is extremely helpful in the planning process. It has virtually everything you need to plan your wedding music. I had also asked Dan if I could make several of my own cds which contained some Persian music and he was overly open to the idea and played all our cds in the exact order we had asked him to. I would defintely go with Platium Entertainment for your wedding or any other event!

Dan DJ'd our wedding in August 2006 in Novato, and did a great job. He was great to collaborate with as we picked our music for the cocktail hour, and he played a nice mix of tunes at the wedding for the kids, including 2 stirring renditions of Baby Got Back. We highly recommend him.

We hired Dan for our wedding this past weekend! He did an AMAZING job! He was sooo easy to work with, kept us sane on a crazy day and made sure all our guests had a great time. Dan kept the party going until the very last dance and everyone raved about the play lists. Wish I could post pictures to prove it!!!
