10 reviews for Planet Orange Termite Services
One of the Business' Favorite Reviews What's This?
My hubby and I just bought a new house and sadly discovered that we had both drywood and subterranean termites. The company that performed the inspection wanted to charge us $4,000 for extermination, so I obviously decided to get a second bid.
I e-mailed Planet Orange just because I was curious. I figured that an environmentally-friendly company would be expensive, right? WRONG! Not only were they incredibly responsive and friendly, but they quoted the job for $2,100!
I have to leave this review open-ended because how do I really know the termites are gone? Thankfully I have a free, two-year warranty should any problems arise.
BTW, Trav W's review should be deleted. That's just dumb.
I used this company to treat my termite infestation. I originally picked them because I have three dogs and was positive that there was no way I would use a traditional termite company. Once I talked to Patrick on the phone, I realized that their professionalism was another reason to use this company. They were very polite and curteous. The inspector was right on time for the appointment and gave me a thorough explanation of the entire process. My treatment was simple (for me at least) and the guys who came to do the treatment were super nice.
All in all, I had a great experience and would highly recommend this company to anyone.
As a new home owner having terminates can be overwhelming and upsetting, and just plain annoying. With our busy schedules my husband and I needed someone who was well informed, quick, responsive and professional. Planet Orange gave us all of that and more. From my initial discussion with Patrick to the inspection to the actual day of job they were great. Great service, convenience, good price, and environmentally friendly - what more could a girl ask for you?
We had a great experience with the Planet Orange staff. Their office was very patient with our scheduling requests. The actual team that performed the termite control work at house, Scott White and Richard Castillo, were very competent. They worked very carefully and made sure to protect our property, but completed every task on time. They answered our questions, explained what they were doing and offered extra help such as odor bags. We feel very comfortable in recommending Planet Orange to our friends.
Just over a year ago we contracted with Planet Orange to treat our home for termites. Living in termite heaven, we had a significant infestation and these folks worked very hard to rid our home of the little house eaters. It was time for our annual inspection and we were in the process of reroofing so we asked them to come out and reinspect. They chearfully did so and found a couple of areas where re-infestation had occurred. Ryan Goudy just left after treating those spots for us and doing some extra stuff to make sure. Everyone connected with this company that we have met or talked with have been universally pleasant and helpful and the treatment for termites with orange oil has been effective and environmentally friendly. Check them out!
These guys seem to do a really good job. Or at least they really know their stuff, how to sell their services and seem legitimately concerned about resolving their customers' issues. But the quote I received for my place was WAY beyond what I would be charged by anyone else. They guy who did the VERY thorough inspection (1+ hour crawling all over the place) offered large discounts off the initial quote but was still over $2000 for what is simply one relatively contained area of termites, plus preventative care for the rest of the house. It seemed to me like they would do a better job than most, if not all, of their competitors. But for 2+ times the price, I'm looking elsewhere.
It was extremely upsetting when I discovered I had termites but luckily I had recently heard about Planet Orange. I recieved excellent service from Vlad. He was polite, friendly and professional. He finished the job in good time, was happy to answer all my questions and concerns and seemed to be very experienced in what he does. I would definitely recommend others to use this service.
Don't ask me why but we gave these guys another shot. I think it was because I was having problems finding another natural company to get rid of our critter problem. Even though the guy (a different one than last time, but unfortunately I can't remember his name) showed up at 10:05 for his 9-10am window he did a thorough job. Without me even asking he took his shoes off before going on my carpet. I cannot tell you guys how much I appreciate that since my carpet is really lightly colored!
Then after surveying the inside and outside of our home he determined that we don't have a termite problem and that the infestation a month ago was a freak, isolated incident. He told us to check back if there are any further issues, but today's inspection was free. Free inspection and I don't have termites... Sweet!

About a month ago these weird bugs started appearing in my house. They looked like ants with wings.… Read more »
We called them and asked for a last minute inspection because we are trying to buy a house. They said the earliest they could come was 4PM on a Saturday (we called friday morning). They ended up calling us and coming earlier, which was great for us because it was the same time as our home inspection. This meant less wait for us. Overall, they guy (Justin) was super nice. Our realtor said he did a thorough job. Unfortunately, there were termites in the house but he gave us the news in a gentle yet professional way that didn't make feel bad. I have to knock out a couple of stars because they were two days late on their promised report.
Who would have thought a termite company could be a convenient good experience? I called Planet Orange got an inspection, an inspector came out. He walked me through the inspection details, answered all my questions, and set me up for a treatment. Going into this I was torn between going through the traditional methods or trying something new. I am glad I didn't go the traditional route and end up with a broken roof and a house full of toxic gas. My worries were calmed and my house is now pest free. The easiest big decision I needed to make about my financial future and future of my home.
