Went into this Planet Fitness for the first time. It was raining outside. We opened our iphones, scanned in, and were stopped to show ID. People don't typically bring their wallets into the gym so I asked if we could start working out and get our ID's after the rain died down. Kobe said no. I then found both of our ID's on my phone, showed Kobe, and asked if he could take our picture so we wouldn't have to go through that again. He said no. James then walked up, asked Kobe what was going on, and then offered to take our picture so there wouldn't be such a delay next time. The same exact thing Kobe said he couldn't do! I asked why Kobe told me he couldn't do it and James said, "Because I know more than him." I then worked out and guess what I asked 90 minutes later? Did Kobe learn to take pictures? Nope. Just bad service led from an owner who was made aware of a problem last week, did nothing, and then let it happen again to us. The issue is we don't pay that gym's owner according to Kobe. He said the owner of this location owns three gyms and if we don't pay one of them three then we have to show ID every workout which is unlike every other PF club. Horrible.

Great equipment nice friendly staff....I'm just starting out and everyone is very helpful clean environment as well....

So I understand the pandemic is going on. The gym closed they charged me the day it closed. Then when it opened back up I got charged crazy fees and then days money wasn't supposed to leave my bank account so my bank charged me for planet fitness tryna dig money out. At this point I wouldn't even recommend this gym at all and I've been with PF since 2015 this is so sad cause the fees only started this year. I ain't get no email no update nobody said it would cost so much. The employees are always good, gyms always clean but with the corona going on I'm tryna minimize going there. I thought there was a way to start the gym fees back up to activate it or something, nope! You know when planet fitness is open when your charged crazy bs.

Oh lol so when the gym got opened I was charged $10.35 I've never been charged $10.35 from them. Yesterday I got charged $42, IVE NEVER BEEN CHARGED $42 in my life. I wish somebody would say it's the keep up fee and the year be fee if I have a black card member ship. LMAO why June 18th they tried to take money out? My bank charged me their fee because PF tried to take their money out on a random a** date. Then on June 26th I got charged $10.35 where's that amount come from? On July 2nd (AGAIN ALL ODD BS DATES RANDOMLY CHOSEN) I got charged from my bank because PF decided "hey let's take out of Hopes account every other damb Thursday or Friday.) Then yesterday July 10th they wanted to charge me $$41.73.. EXPLAIN the odd numbers since you THOUGHT you had the answers my friend. Yahl been closed HOW long and decided to charge me the day it closes. Then charge me some bs when yahl opened. 5 years at this gym probably longer than yahls employees been there and this random dates and amount coming. Telling me it's annual and sh** nah son I ain't EVER had this amount run out my bank account.

Ok, it's not like Gold's gym or Bally's where they have every piece of workout equipment known to man. And noooooo they don't have cardio kickboxing, zumba, spinning, or whatever the newest workout craze is. It's a basic no frills gym...so on your first visit, don't expect a guy named "Jeeves" to greet you at the door with a bottled water from Iceland. What you CAN expect is a clean gym (and locker room with showers) equipped with all you need to get in a good, thorough workout. They even provide complimentary personal training for any rookies. All this for $10 a month. Yep only $10 bucks. I'm currently learning to speak Yelpish, so I'll translate:

The member ship fee is equal to: The sauteed calamari appetizer at Orsay or
A sandwich at The French Pantry

For $20 a month, you get the "Black Card" upgrade with unlimited use of tanning beds, massage chairs, and you get half priced cooler drinks (or "happy hour priced cooler drinks" in Yelpish).

All in all, a great gym with a great deal!

This place loves to break your agreement then REQUIRE YOU to go out of your way to cancel. I didn't have a lot of time before I left and I'm 3000 miles away in Washington state, over 1 hour from a related gym trying to spend time with my twin 12 year old boys as they are going through testing at Seattle's Childrens hospital for a rare form of genetic MS, during a pandemic and they refuse to let me out of my contract without a certified letter or me going to thier office....3000 miles away. The manager said that she would not cancel my membership. I have charges that total $100.20 while my contract stated I would be charged $80.86 in the same time period and I went to the gym one time in June.

Great gym for beginners, for only 10$ a month they have a lot of the basic things you would want to get into fitness. Their staff is really good, the place is always clean and there is a lot of amenities for upgrading to the black card.

The only negatives are the lack of free weights, calisthenics rings and you can not use chalk. So eventually you might want to go somewhere else when you are more advanced with fitness.

If I could put -10 stars I would. The manager there is a bitch, the employees are incompetent and tell you incorrect information. And when you call to have your membership cancelled, and you get wrong information that caused more money to come out of your account- after you were told it wouldn't- the manager pretty much says, "FUCK YOU, my employees can say whatever they want and even if it causes you more money, your stuck in a contract and I won't help you with any of this (even though it was HER EMPLOYEES FAULT) because we want your money." So if you want to sign up with planet fitness do so at your own risk, and ABSOLUTELY DON'T DO A YEARLY PLAN.

While I love this gym because I can pretty much come here anytime, except when I work on the weekends, there are some drawbacks. There are areas dedicated to circuit training which are rarely monitored. So needless to say people who aren't doing the circuit end up in these areas and take up space and the flow of the circuits. It may sound like nit-picking but the same equipment is on the main floor. If you're comfortable working out on your own or with a friend and enjoy massage chairs/beds and tanning, and have some patience in the circuits this is a good choice.

Worst gym ever do not join do not sign the contract!!! Trust me .. I will post a pic of regional manager reply. We joined their gym less than a week tried to cancel and read it for yourself they don't care about you, only your money.

Been awhile since I've have been here. They have completely remodeled and is very nice. Lots of machines and free weights. At $10 a month you just can't beat it.
