The pizza was great!

We had the "no kiss goodnight" or tonight or something like that, which was the chicken with red onions and alfredo sauce.  I loved it, but I much prefer the white sauce pizza over the traditional red.  The crust was done perfectly. Tender, but crispy on the outside.  Considering it wasn't fresh, but rewarmed in the oven, it turned out really well. We also ordered the artichoke pizza and the sausage/meat variety (sorry, I can't remember the clever names) and those were really good too.  The marinara was a bit too tart for my taste, but the sausage was really good.  The garlic bread with dipping sauce was also really yummy without being over buttered and oily like most other places.

Staff was friendly enough for us, but I was a bit confused by the whole order in the front, pay in the back business.  The decor wasn't too great, but for a quick pizza place, I'm not expecting too much.

A bit pricey, about $3.50/slice, but I was satisfied with 1 slice, so well worth it.

It's simple - pizza + salad + drinks for a quick lunch.  The cheering when you tip is rather scary, but understandable.  Love the free refills.

My girlfriends and I go there when we can't decide on a place, or if we want a quick eat.

Excellent alternative to the Hut, has more of a NY taste.

We had smoked bacon, which was delicious. Although, it is sometimes hard to tell if the bacon makes the pizza or vice versa. Actually, no, it was the bacon.

The reviews here are generally pretty good. Most of these people really love Schmizza. I just don't quite get it, and not for a lack of trying. This store was a group lunch spot for a couple of years, and after all that time I've come away with the opinion that it's just okay at best. That's all.

I love a good pie, and I'll even do weird toppings once in a while. But I just can't quite groove to the Schmizza beat the way other people can.

The pizza is fine, I guess - it's really nothing special, honestly. The service is inconsistent and very bohemian. The place is almost never clean when I'm there and the hired help isn't very ambitious about the work. And what's with the slacker-induced neo-Americana plastered everywhere?  That's a tired game and I don't go for it anymore.

Furthermore, the store in the Cedar Mill area is the worst - I won't even review that one because there's no way I could be even remotely objective about the lousy experience I had there.

Ordered the Popeye and Olive Oil along with the Meatzza for dinner for my roomies and me. The only thing that appalled me was the price: $39 for two large pizzas and one 2-liter of Pepsi. Maybe I'm used to Papa Murphy's but I think Apizza Scholls is cheaper than PS.

Anyway, I love meat (hey, no jokes but I do love a good man!), but the Meatzza was simply too much. The Popeye and Olive Oil rocked the house; I can't wait to try another pie in the future.

Man, after reading the reviews, I think we totally should have gotten that pork nacho concoction (menu calls it "Nacho Porko Pizza")! It looked good, but was a little intimidating at the time - what with the "dollop of sour cream" and "reckless drizzle of chipotle ranch dressing" not to mention the jalapenos! (I love jalapenos... Sam, not so much.)

But I digress... we ordered a Genoa and an Italiano to go. We moseyed across the parking lot to browse Plato's Closet and GameStop while we waited for the pizzas to be ready. Got to experience our first hail of the season coming back across the lot to pick up our pizzas. (Tiny hail is sharp and painful!)

We were waiting and I spied coke in bottles in their drink fridge and they looked familiar... yes! They were high-fructose corn syrup-free coke hecho en Mexico! (My friend says they carry them at Costco.) The girl at the register was a little surly - "You want drinks, now?" But it seems like she wasn't getting along with the dudes cooking the pizzas -- they may or may not have been following instructions.

Anyway, pizza was yummy (forgot to order no cilantro on the Italiano, but I survived). The cokes were yum - I think it is less sweet than the American version... but I still prefer the high-fructose corn syrup! (Sam said it tasted like diet coke.)

Sad that their $1 beer special is now only on Pabst. I guess it was getting too expensive the other way. They still have about 6 beers on tap, though.

Also, our favorite pizzas remain unchanged - Cochino Chicken without red onions and Schpaghetti & Meatball.

On the list to try: Nacho Porko and Alligator Pie!

P.S. This location is great to eat-in because you can get Jamba Juice from next door!

because of Denise R. and her review i had to try this nacho pizza. I thought it looked ugly before and it didn't interest me. But hey a fellow yelper's opinion does carry some weight.
So yeah the pizza is american. The toppings is the focal point. The crust to me is boring and rather uninteresting. But the topping on this pizza is fantastic. Imagine a good nacho and now you can eat it all in one hand.  It's so good i might be tempted to go back after watching football tonight and getting another one.

This is currently my favorite pizza place in the portland metro area.  (The Pizza King in Greensburg, IN -- and only that Pizza King -- is probably my all time favorite).

1.  Staff is always nice
2.  Food has always been good.  Good toppings, good crust, good quality, great selection
3.  It's easy to get to.

Schmizza is kinda all over the Portland metro area, so it should be close to you.  But this one in particular is cool because the walls are full of crazy stuff and it's near where I live.

The one detriment is that they don't actually deliver.  There's a third party service that you can call, but I've always just opted to go pick it up.

If you've never been to a Schmizza, I definitely recommend trying the Schpaghetti and Meatball pizza.... noodles on pizza is a neat idea.  Also the Schnitzel pizza (when they have it) is really good.  Haven't tried the aligator pizza, yet, but surely it's good.

Also, the house beers (different one for $1 each day) are pretty good.

As a New Yorker I can be pretty picky about my pizza.  In this area Pizza Schmizza is the closest thing to the pizza I know and love from home.  We have always gotten take out and my husband picks it up, so unfortunately I can't tell you about the staff or the restaurant.  I can tell you that you will get good pizza every time.  I am a minimalist when it comes to pizza, but I know that you can get almost anything on a pizza there.

If you are looking for good, no surprises pizza, this is the place to go.

This location is in the tannasbourne area of beaverton. You have to go back on evergreen towards beaverton and it's in a small group of stores on the left side. I had a little trouble finding it and even more trouble finding a place to park near the restaurant.

I ate here a couple of weeks ago during lunch. Service was a little slow and it was really really busy. Every day they have a rotation of pies. I had a slice of beef and potato. It turned out to be better than the service and the parking. The cut out comics on the wall are good to read while your waiting. I'll probably go back again since the food is good and maybe just to see if the service improved.

Best pizza around.  It's hard to beat the crust and quality of their cheese.  Pizza is not too heavy, not too thin.  Reminds me of east-coast style pizza, but done right with less grease.

Wish you delivered, but it's probably best for my health that you don't.  :)

My first pizza experience in Oregon and I thought it was very good. Soft flavor full crust and not soggy. Medium amount of cheese - my preference. Wish they had normal ham but the Canadian bacon was pretty good.

Of course the place ranks high for creativity, not your round table pizza. Plenty of weird articles on the walls to read while you wait for your pizza. Very friendly staff and they gave me coupons, I will go back again. Just wish they did residential deliver - they do business delivery so I might take advantage of that.

This place is nearby and tasty. And they usually give you a coupon for a free salad or bread sticks with purchase of a large pizza within a month of your recent pizza purchase. I wish they sold green river soda like the Cedar Hills location but I can dig it. They have lots of great pizza and that's the important thing. I kind of wish they a larger variety of salads but overall pretty good.

Pizza Schmizza is one mighty fine Pizzeria. This one is hidden in a strip mall which makes it extra secret. I had the new Mexican pizza with Jalepenos, beans, and pork. The random pizza's here are always worth a taste.

Any place that has dollar pints is automatically awesome. Bonus points if they have good food! And boy howdy, Schmizza has some yummy pizza. They have some very original flavors and they are all totally awesome! I love Ol' Hickory. I love the fact that I can walk in and just buy a slice of pizza, that's always nice.

This is place is great whether you are looking for a slice in a hurry or need a whole pie. They do make some creative pizzas, their latest invention chilli cheese dog pizza!

They do have a daily beer specials and Sun-Wed $10 pizza specials:

 |            Daily beer specials               |    |    Sun - Wed Pizza specials   |
 |                     $1 PINT                           |   |              $10 Large                     |
 |   Monday         - Schimizza IPA         |   |  Sunday - BBQ Chicken          |
 |   Tuesday       - Schimizza Wheat    |   |  Monday - Pepperoni               |
 |   Wednesday - Schimizza Amber   |    |  Tuesday - Cheese                 |
 |   Thursday      - Schimizza Porter    |    |  Wednesday - Don Ho            |

 |
 | On other days $2.50 a pint              |

If you are into long term commitment then you can get the punch card so you can get your 11th slice for free!

Their walls are full of funny stuff. I had a laugh reading this last time: Debra Jackson likes shopping at Dollar Palace since it is conventional and casual, "I don't have to dress up like going to a Wal-Mart or something", she said.

Pizza Schmizza is a restaurant with a casual atmosphere and good pizza.  Pizza Schmizza stands out for the unusual decor in its restaurants and their unusual pizza - they make creative pizzas that you don't find anywhere else.  You can also order pizza by the slice and they will heat it up for you as you order it.  Their restaurants are good places to go hang out with friends and eat.
