Ever had a late night craving for pizza after a night out?
Pizza Rustica is the must go stop. The original please!

If you like thick doe pizza, fresh out the oven, this must be Miami's best. Whenever I make it back to the beach I try to stop here. The slices are well priced and 2 will be more than enough. I like the rustica and Florentine...

This place is so overated by other people and I have no idea why. The toppings are pretty good but the pizza has way too much bread. It's not even a matter of the pizza being deep dish, it's just too much bread and a thin layer of cheese and toppings.

I don't know why the pizza is cut into large, rectangular squares and then cut into little 2 x 2 squares like I'm a child. I really do think that most people who have come here have come after hitting up Wet Willie's hard and anything tastes good. If you want real good pizza - sober or smashed - cross the street and hit up Groovy's. This is the most overhyped place in town.

Good pizza.  It's getting too crowed to order and stay.  Order the large and take it home.  Best pizza in Miami Beach.  I go to the one on Lincoln Road.  Waiters need to learn a little English.

Oh how I love thee, when I want pizza this is the place. My favorite is the Spicy Italian Sausage. Yeah, your eyes water, nose drips, and mouth is on fire! What a delight....

The crust is thicker than most, which is why I enjoy it so much. The ingredients always seem to be very fresh, and good amounts of cheese.

You don't come here for the service or ambience that's for sure.
But the pizza is so yummy and tasty....and big, big slices at reasonable prices......

I adore you Pizza Rustica, and this is the only one I visit frequently. For some reason the one on Lincoln Rd. just is not the same for me.

PIZZA, PIZZA, PIZZA, AND MORE PIZZA.....YAY

hmmmm.... I'm afraid I might be attacked by me fellow Yelpers for this..... but I think you have to have some form of alcohol in your system for this pizza to be good, I know because I was originally going to give them 2 stars and upgraded them to 3 when I had the leftovers after a few cocktails.

I was sooooo excited to try this place after reading reviews, since I love pizza... but, was sadly disappointed. I ordered the blue cheese and spinach pizza and they put my giant slice in the oven while I drooled waiting for it to come out. So, when I happy took my first bite, all I could think was that the dough tasted like Pillsbery crescent rolls. I think the crescent rolls are decent on their own, I decided I don't like my pizza crust tasting like them.

The ingredients on the pizza were fresh, but much to my dismay there was no sauce. I probably would have ordered a different flavor if I new this prior to getting this type. So, after disappointingly eating half I brought the other half home.

I met some friends out for drinks and decided I was hungry when I got home later. This is when I ate my leftovers and decided they weren't too bad.

So, I only recommend eating here intoxicated.

My friends and I were in the mood for pizza and we stopped by Pizza Rustica for a slice.  We sat down and my mouth was watering as I took a bite of my pizza.  Not bad - especially being from New York and not expecting anything great from a Pizza shop in Miami...

Then...I decided I had to go to the bathroom.  The lady behind the counter gave me a little coin to use to open the bathroom door.  Once I did, I saw the BIGGEST most DISGUSTING COCKROACHES crawling around on the floor.  I was so horrified that I ran out of the restroom and couldn't even eat my dinner.  Who knows where those cockroaches have been - crawling around in the cheese and pizza dough maybe?  SERIOUSLY GROSS.  If they had a health inspector go into that place I'm sure this location wouldn't even be open.

The only thing you need to know is that this place rocks my socks.

They are open super late, so when we left Twist we came here. It seems like everyone comes here after clubbing so the few tables that are outside are taken by people that just want to sit there all night. There's always a line but that's a good thing.

The pizza is rectangular and they cut it so each slice is about 6 small pieces. I 've been here so many times but always when I'm drunk so I completely forgot about the size and had my friend order me a Cheese slice and a Bleu Cheese and Spinach slice while I was on the prowl for a table.

The cheese is great...It's typical cheese pizza.

The Bleu Cheese and Spinach however is orgasmic. I think I might have growled when Peter tried to take one of my 6 pieces. When I get pregnant I want to eat this pizza every day, all day, 24/7. That's how incredibly amazing it is!!!

I have to agree with Kyle M, who described the pizza here as "mediocre at best." Pizza Rustica fails the Domino's Pizza test (ie, I'd rather have a Domino's pizza than a Pizza Rustica pizza).
SOBE can do sooo much better than this.

Being from Chicago I cannot say another style of pizza is better but this one can rival Chicago style.  The pizza was AMAZING!  Very crispy with different flavors and styles.  I forgot which one I had but I seriously wanted to go back the next day.  The portion is HUGE and enough to feed 2 people.  The price is great if you already blown your $$ at the bars and clubs which many of my friends did... Id definitely come here again and again.  Its good eating!

I'm from New York. So it's hard to find pizza that even comes close to New York pizza. Unfortunately Pizza Rustica fell under the bar like most cities outside of the Apple do.

It was good. But just good. Not great. Maybe I'd say pretty good. Maybe.

Huge square pieces for $5/pop...$3 if you get just cheese. Very 'droopy' and hard to hold. You really needed a fork and knife, which I'm not fond of using if you're eating pizza.

Friendly staff. But I probably won't be having pizza in Miami again.

Went here after my boss demanded I visit while down in South Beach.  It was great!  It really is a little hole in the wall (the only way we found it was by following the yummy pizza scent), but it is a magical little hole in the wall filled with a plethora of unique pizzas.

It was such a tough choice with our little noses pressed up against the display glass, but we finally made it.  I got the chicken parmesan pizza.  Boyf got the BBQ chix pizza.  Both were great.  Both were massive (as previously mentioned, it is like six slices in one).  Def didn't feel as hot in my bikini on the beach after this meal, but it was well worth it :).

When I was paging through yelp reviews, looking for good pizza places, I saw that a place named "pizza rustica" got 4 stars.

"Surely" I thought confidently, "this couldn't be the pizza rustica I've been to on south beach, that place makes horrible tourist crap pizza."

When I looked at the photos, and realized it was the horrible tourist crap pizza place, I shook my head in disappointment, hoping beyond hope that the people giving these high ratings were just a little too drunk to differentiate between good and bad pizza.

The pizza is mediocre, AT BEST. Now mind you, if you think that Pizza Hut is high quality Italian food, you will most likely think this is phenomenal. If you've never eaten any pizza before, you'll think it's quite tasty. However if you were born with taste buds and were not raised on a compound in iowa, then you will realize the pizza cannot be called better than mediocre. Mix the mediocre food, with bad prices and you get 2 stars.

Oh but they are open late, just in case you were concerned with the availability of  poorly made pizza at exorbitant (per quality) prices at 1am.

I work across the street so I visit every now and then, every time I get a craving for pizza I walk across the street and browse the vast landscape of various pizzas that boggle the mind, some in their simplicity, some in their complexity, either way, I know I'm going to get a damn good slice of pizza...

If your on the beach and are craving a slice of pizza, definitely try out some pizza rustica.

The pizza was good, although it's not guaranteed that the combo you see on their menu will be available at the time of order.  Unfortunately, that's what happened to me, so I got a more simple piece, which was good, don't get me wrong, but I kinda bummed not to get what I was craving.
To newbies, the line system is a little confusing if it's really crowded, but you'll soon figure out that you order at the register and then work your way down towards the back of the restaurant as you wait for your slices to come out.
The price was definitely right, for both the pizza and soda.  Even though it was crowded, my friend and I were still able to find a seat pretty quickly outside.

As we crawled out of Cameo not so early this morning, we thanked the almighty power that be as we dragged our semi-lifeless bodies into Pizza Rustica to have a bite. Famished, I was and my eye flew to the beautiful roasted veggie pizza.. then and there every single saliva gland in my mouth began to activate on high mode.

I was having fantasies about my pizza as my friends were yapping on and on about something. All I could think about was that yummy deliciousness that had been claimed as MINE.

When it came I added the pepper flakes any self respecting Chicago native would. Little did I realize that their flakes are SERIOUS flakes my friends. Watch out, those flakes make their presence known throughout their whole trajectory through your system. Hot as Hades, but delicious for the more adventurous.

The pizza is fantastic. Truly delicious in every way. My friend kept on putting her crust down and not noticing it disappearing off her plate as I stealthily stole every one! Luckily she was so inebriated that she didn't miss them, as she had been setting them aside for later. MUAHAHAAA

The only thing I can say is that at that time the service can be understandably non effusive. I especially loved the way the guy behind the counter told a VERY VERY drunk girl who stumbled in yelling for the bathroom that it was busy - to wait (it wasn't, he knew it and we knew it as we were sitting next to it) and then proceeded to tell her that no more pizza for her (she was not a petite girl), and then got his amusement watching her hop and yell around the bathroom door.

At that point we were done and left him to his particularly sadistic ,interesting and original entertainment.

I LOVE YOU PIZZA RUSTICA.

HUGE slices of pizza, which they cut up into 6 pieces and put onto 2 plates (that's how big it is). Great variety of pizza... classics & new ones, such as chicken & corn. There are several locations in South Beach and it's open REALLY late so make sure to get your fill on pizza!

It was too salty, the crust was mushy, the toppings just fell off, and it was a rectangle! It also tasted like it was sitting outside all day. To give them credit, they have a large selection and if it's late and you're hungry, this is the perfect place for a slice of pizza.

At the end of a night on the beach, you can find me here or at least trying to convince a friend driving to make a pit stop. I crave a slice of spinach and blue cheese pizza like a glass of water in the desert.  They have all of these pizzas staring at you through the glass like supreme, four cheese, chicken florentine, caprese, etc...and all you hear is "eat me."

Even if you have intentions of leaving with just one slice (huge sicilian style), sometimes you might just want to take a slice to go. There's nothing fat free here or light...so just spare yourself the grief and go for it.

Delicious Pizza! Extensive menu of all different types of pizza as well as a make your own pizza or salad section. Small place mostly recommend for take out or a sunny day when you want to eat outside under the umbrellas. Ate here for lunch and the slices are so huge I could barely finish one myself, but comes at a great price and very convenient as it seemed that there was one every couple blocks. Definitely recommend for the family as the price is right and the portions are big!

I was a little disappointed with my recent Pizza Rustica order.  I tried their "Pizza con Potate" thinking it would be like the "Genovese" at Andiamo, since many of the ingredients were similar.  Boy, was I wrong.  The thinly sliced potatoes did not get enough time in the pizza oven, and still had way too much of a crunch to them.  The onions were bigger chunks than necessary, and there wasn't nearly enough sauce or cheese to meld everything together.

I will definitely be ordering from Pizza Rustica again, since they're close by and they deliver to me.  But I will leave my potatoes-on-pizza cravings to Andiamo!

Great spot to pickup some pizza.  Very good selection and the pizza was very good.  I typically like thin crust pizza, but I do eat thicker crusts on occassion.  The spicy chicken pizza was a favorite on this trip.  The rustica was okay, I felt as though the olives were a bit too salty for the pizza but otherwise good.

This place is a must stop for me every time I come to Miami Beach. I prefer this one since it's the original location and love to just order more food than I could ever eat and hope for the best. Once you cram into this New York sized place you will be greeted by a glass display full of pizza. Huge square sicilian style pizza ready for your order. A friend and myself ordered a Hawaiian slice, Pepperoni, and Sweet Sausage.

Three slices and drinks out the door for under $20 (which could feed three easily) and we sat down enjoying ourselves and people watching in the crazy part of South Beach. Each slice of pizza was top shelf as always which is a combo including minimal sauce and a ton of dough. It's an interesting approach for pizza and it works, Pizza Rustica knocks it out of the park.

While eating someone spotted us for non locals and picked up that we could never finish these four huge slices among us. We brokered a deal to sell two squares for $1.00 so this man wouldn't have to "wait in the long line he claimed" and we were happy to receive some return on our pizza investment. My buddy wanted to hang out and sell the rest of our leftover pizza but I was ready to check in to our hotel at this point. Our left over pizza didn't make it to the trash can outside as a homeless person asked if he could finish it. Mission accomplished, we ate amazing pizza, people watched in South Beach, made a return on our pizza investment and fed the homeless all in twenty minutes.

No where else are you going to find this kind of silly entertainment while gorging yourself in delicious pizza. A+ for atmosphere, location, and taste by me. The only issue your going to run into is PARKING. Especially if it's a weekend night note that this is a huge post night club scene here. This is the South Beach fourth meal (not Taco Bell) and things can get a little crazy. If your flying in for some food and Washington has no street parking my approach is always to go one block over onto Pennsylvania and park in the residential permit parking (illegally) and hope people take pity on me with my rental car decals! Even though parking will be a battle you will realize it was worth every moment of frustration when you step inside.

I just love this place.  We stayed at the Clinton Hotel in So Beach, which is very close to this Pizza Rustica location.

To be honest, I didn't try this place during normal hours, so I may not be the best judge.  But if you are out and about at the clubs, this is the perfect place to stop off afterwards.  There are tons of choices, and the slices are huge.  It's pretty cheap food for Miami Beach, too.

really hit the spot - and not one of those "Dude, I am so starving, any pizza will do" - this stuff was really tasty and the slices were HUGE.  we sat outside on Washington and were accosted by a homeless guy who wanted a slice.  he knew damn well I wasn't finishing my '2' slices of pie.

On the upside, the pizza looks nice, the toppings are fresh, and the staff is friendly enough (and kudos for noticing when people are trying to cut line and sending them to the back).

On the downside, the line gets long late at night and it moves really slowly (they could learn a thing or two from Anna Maria http://www.yelp.com/bi...).

I got a fresh mozzarella slice with basil and tomato and it was all good until I hit the crust... which was like a piece of puffy wheat toast. And that, my friends, is not pizza.

best pizza ever. better than new york, almost better than rome. the whole wheat crust is great, but don't get it with the hawaiian -- too much squishiness and the crust gets soggy. but for one of the salad pizzas, the mushroom, the cheese, or the eponymous Rustica, is delicious on wheat or regular.

Amazing freshly baked pizza goodness at Taco Bell time and prices (late & cheap).  A slice and can of pop will set you back maybe $6 or so.  Great for after a night out.  Set in a small squeezable space that has about 5 bar stools at the counter and about 3 patio tables outside.  So many choices too!  I love mushrooms so try the Con 4 Funghi!

I remember going here. I remember loving the pizza. Problem was, it was usually after nights of hitting up Wet Willie's and then a club. I will enjoy a cardboard pizza when I've had too much, so can't say if the pizza really was as good as I remember it. My friends all seemed to enjoy it as well. Unfortunately, they had at least as much to drink as me. I do know for a fact that they didn't have anything like this in SoCal, so I was very excited to hear they've got a couple in LA now. Too bad the reviews seem to be hit and miss.
