Celebrated my birthday here one year with a seafood combo and the plate was full of mussels, yummy and no leftovers. We usually go for the pasta and it's always satisfying, no matter what you choose. Selection is great. Waitstaff is attentive and it's a homey atmosphere. Close to home. Wish they would expand the place as they're not in the flood zone. We'll be back.

Used to love it, but not so much anymore.
I bring my family of 6 here pretty often. They usually have plenty of seating. This used to be on of our favorite places. But lately, we haven't been so happy with it. It's been "just ok".

Tonight's dinners included a couple of the individual pizzas for a couple of the kids, a Stromboli for another and the Baked Ravioli for my oldest child. My wife had a chicken special with olives, tomatoes and some other stuff in a red sauce. I had the seafood bisque and linguini with white clam sauce.

No problems with the pizza. It's always pretty good. same with the Stromboli. My oldest daughter always gets the baked ravioli.

My wife and I weren't thrilled with either of our dinners. Not bad, but not great. Both of us said the same...they smothered everything is so much sauce like they were trying to hide something. In my case, when I get Linguini with white clam sauce, there are typically a ton of chopped clams, a light broth with just enough extra for dipping some bread and some fresh clams in the shell to top it off. But not here. No chopped clams, the 12 fresh clams included most in broken shells (making me hunt through the dish for an pieces of shells that may have been lost) and one that was not opened, and a thick soup of sauce that swamped the pasta. I don't think that I'll get that again.

We will go back. The value is pretty good and we can get quickly seated. The pizza is always good. They could probably pare down their menu and focus on a few great dishes instead of a bunch of average ones. But it is a neighborhood bar and restaurant, not a 4 star dining experience.

This place is convenient to the Central NJ Airport which makes it convenient to fly in and meet our daughter for lunch.  The place is a lot nicer looking in the dining room than from the outside.  The menu was extensive with all the best of Italian classics.  There were four of us, each ordering a different dish.  We all felt very well satisfied with our selections.  The dishes were amply sized and not too expensive!  The service was very attentive -- even though he kept telling us he was the only one working! I will certainly go back to this place -- despite the shamrock on the sign ... for Italian cuisine? Oh, well!

I have been coming to Pizza & Pasta for as long as I can remember.  The food is always delicious - especially the pizza.  I love their pizza because its not doughy and greasy.  It's thin crust and crunchy, and full of flavor.  Sometimes its hard to find a good slice that's not sopping in grease and that's what Pizza & Pasta does right - the perfect slice.  The portabello mushroom appetizer is also delicious.  It's a huge portabello in a balsamic sauce with mozzerella on top, and it's a good plate to start a meal.  The only thing that Pizza & Pasta lacks sometimes is in the service area.  You can sit there for a while sometimes before someone comes over to help you, but if you're not in a rush, it's usually not a problem.  Also, the prices are very reasonable.

My wife and I went to Pizza & Pasta for a friend's birthday. We were a group of 16, so I can't fairly critique the service (though our waitress was great).

    Reasons I'd go back:
    - The menu is pretty large, with a lot of good choices. I'd like to try their pizza next time.
    - The food was well-seasoned and tasty
    - The price was good for the portions

    Reasons I wouldn't go back:
    - The beer menu was somewhat larger than average, but boring.
    - The Chicken Diavolo over Spaghetti was good but seemed unbalanced - barely any spaghetti.
    - It's U-G-L-Y. The building is a stucco cube with no windows. The inside is just as plain, with zero ambiance. I'm not expecting a lot here, but come on, splurge on some decorative molding for the doorways!

I am a beer geek so your beer menu mileage may vary. Also, I was fairly distracted by the party, so I didn't pay as much attention as I might have.

We've been here many, many times over the last few years. Consistently good food, huge portions and decent service. Never been disappointed. Reasonably priced, many options on huge menu. The younger staff is actually even better than the veterans. Good beer and wine choices, as well.

I had heard wild raves so i set off to find this pizza mecca, and found it was just a pretty good pizzaria.  Yummy for sure, but not worth a trip.

It was a little better than average thin crust pizza, and the place is very small, much more suited to take out.  Maybe i should venture away from the pizza and try something else?

It's always a good sign when I walk into a restaurant and am greeting with the scent of delicious food.

The best sign comes when the sangria is so delicious.  And I normally HATE sangria, but I'd give this place five stars for that alone.

My baked ravioli was good, but granted it was just ravioli.  My friend got the seafood special which she couldn't stop raving about, and I'm sure I'd agree with her if I didn't hate shrimp and went anywhere near her dish.  Sure, the decor is boring, but that's not why I eat at a restaurant; decor is merely an added bonus for me.

I hope I come back here again soon. OM NOM NOM NOM NOM.

We have visited Pizza & Pasta maybe six times, but not  in the past year.  It is an OK pizza place with a bar license but the decor is strictly low rent. Food was good but not outstanding.  Service was OK.  Just not very interesting unless you live in the area.

I had been going to this pizzeria on-and-off for many years and after a three-four year hiatus I just went back again for the first time the other day and I can't even express how disappointed I was with the pizza. My review back in the day would've been a solid four stars because this used to be some really good pizza. Not so much anymore, which is really a shame. I cannot recommend this.

I love this place.  Wonderful thin crust pizza.  I like the shrimp pesto pizza as well as the eggplant.  When going back to the Jerz, I love to stop by Pizza & Pasta.
