Pizzabolla serves up some Damn Good Pizza.
Their salads are pretty good.
I'd stay away from the sandwiches and pastas.
Dining inside is a nice treat, the place offers wine and done casually well. -

Is this place still open? The phone number is wrong and the website doesn't work.

This is actually a 3.5 star review. Can Yelp not understand that there is a sea bewtwen A-Ok and Yay! I'm a fan!??? Well, there IS!
While this is neither my favorite pizza place nor my favorite Italian spot - it's pretty conveniently located by the movie theater I go to the most, they have GREAT garlic bread, decent caesar salad and good pizza. Not a big fan on the pasta.

It works. I think they deliver, but I went ahead and picked it up to check out the place. It seemed like it might even be a nice place to sit down if you have the liberty of taking some time out of the office.
For the first round I got the lunch special margherita pizza with a salad and a can of coke, which set me back $10. The pizza was pretty big, a full small pie about 6 inches or so. I'd eat here again without thinking twice. -

This is a small restaurant located in Battery Park City.
Last week my dad and I had lunch here. We walked in about 12:30, before the lunchtime rush.
The specials menu looked great, with salad, soda, and an entree for $10. We each ordered from it. i had the Eggplant pasta, and my dad ordered the Americano sandwich.
As we waited, more people started filling in. Another couple sitting two tables away ordered the exact same thing that we did, and it irked me that they were served first. Then, the man who ordered the same sandwich as my dad, picked it up, realized it had cheese, and called the waiter.
The waiter took the sandwich back into the kitchen, brought the man his sandwich, and then served my dad and me.
I wish i could say that we didn't take that sandwich. I'm 99% sure, that it was the same sandwich the man had touched and sent back to the kitchen. I have no proof either way. Even now, it makes me feel gross.
Considering my inaction, I could've forgiven them. But on leaving, I looked around and I saw that everyone who had ordered the lunch was given a can of soda and a glass of ice to pour it them self. Mine had already been poured, and it was flat. I hadn't said anything because I thought it was from a soda fountain, and flat soda is pretty standard from a fountain.
So in one lunch, I think I was snuffed twice. We won't be back. -

The only positive thing this place has going for them, is that its close to the hotel I was staying at and they deliver. After a long day of being out on the town, and all you want to do is unwind, then pizza bolla is convenient.
The food wasn't that great and it lacked flavor. Its also way over priced! We paid for 70 bucks for 2 pizzas and a pasta dish.
Like i said, its only convenient -

The pizza is good for carry out b/c its near the hotel. I'd give it 3 stars. I liked their plain cheese the best.
However, my cousin and I decided to eat in which is why I give this place 2 stars instead. The service was slow. Also the tap water looked cloudy like something was swirling in it so we promptly ordered bottled water.
caprese salad was ok, arugula salad was good. my son's kids meal was weird. it was 3 large chicken fingers and a bowl of pasta marinara. the marinara was orangy like chef boyardee- we were baffled by the sauce. my son who eats all things pasta pushed it away but ate the friend chicken fingers (of course.) -

My boyfriend and I ordered take out from here a couple weeks ago after his roommate recommended. It's probably not the worst italian food i've ever had but it was far from good. You ever order pasta from a restaurant and when you pour it out of the to-go container, it leaves that disgusting orange oily residue? yea that's what it was like from the lasagna my boyfriend ordered from pizza bolla. the one good thing i can say is that the very non-italian goat cheese bites salad was delicious. I have yet to try the pizza here so can't comment on that but steer clear of their pasta.

My wife and I love this place. We've been coming here since they opened a few years ago. Friendly staff and really good food. Highlights are the very meaty and tasty Ziti Bolognese and the excellent Pizza Bolla pizza.

We live right across the street from Pizza Bolla and have had their pizza 4-5 times now . While the place itself can get a little crowded, the staff always makes up for it with niceness and speed. They also offer gluten-free options, which is awesome. The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is one bad experience with delivery - it took pretty long, the pizza was not warm anymore and it looked like some of the typically very generous toppings were missing. We called and they comped the order, but it was disappointing - hence four stars, praises and the recommendation to actually eat there.

Pizza Bolla is closed.....looks like the hammer of Goldman Saks which bought the building a few years ago has fallen on a few of the local restaurants, Lili's next door is also closed.....you either don't need nurishment, or these businesses were to "low end" for the folk that do "God's work"....GS.

This was our first pizza in the big apple. We ordered the Pizzabolla, which had artichoke hearts and some other stuff. While not a true "New York style" pizza, it was fantastic. The garlic bread was excellent, and so was the pasta. Service was friendly and attentive. The only negatives were the small size of the restaurant, and the wobbly table. Prices were great for the quality. We will be back next time we're in town.

Forget what anybody else says, if you find eating out a challenge like I do, then PizzaBolla is AWESOME!!! I have a gluten-intolerance, so this joint saved me, and my children. After a long day of traveling around the city, my children and I arrived back to our hotel which happened to be just around the corner from Pizzabolla. Being hungry and tired, we needed to eat quickly. The Mexican chain restaurant totally messed up our order so the frustration grew. A very kind onlooker told me about PizzaBolla and gave me their menu, also telling me that they have gluten-free options. I was totally skeptical. Much to my surprise, they were awesome!!! My 2 young children and I ordered their GF Pizza Margharita, GF Spaghetti Bolognese, and their GF Penne w/vodka. We chowed like never before!! All three dishes were fantastic, delicious sauces for the pastas and great texture for both the pastas and the pizza. The staff there is very well educated in preparing for special diets; therefore, I felt totally confident that they would prepare all the dishes properly so that we would not end up sick- and they did a great job. In addition, the staff was so friendly and helpful. I can't wait to head back to Manhattan again. Now, I have another great GF place to eat in the city!! They also deliver.
