I wish I could give a 4.5 rating because this place was almost perfect. The only thing that bothered me was that fact that some plastic wrap was used the cover the items in the salad bar and it didn't cover them all the way.
Luckily, I didn't go for the salad bar. The pizza was some of the best pizza I've had. I had the Greek deep-dish pizza and, aside from the strange way they cut it and a slight burn, it was perfect. The service was very friendly and the price wasn't too bad; It was pretty good for Aptos. Food is way too expensive here! But this place was ok.
I will definitely go there again. -

We are in town on vacation and tried the bbq chicken pizza along with the hawaiian pizza. YUMMY thin crust and loved the pizza. Delivery was ON time and pizza was hot.

I miss Pizza Amore. Their pizza, when hot and fresh out of the oven, was pretty darn good. It had a sweetness that I've not found in other pizza. And, it was just a nice place to kick back with a slice. The place that replaced them is okay, but I think for the best pizza in Aptos, it's a tie between Aptos Pizza and Pizza 1.

Whaaaat the? I can't believe that nobody has written a review on one of Santa Cruz's most legendary pizza joints. I have no problem doing so. This place has THE BEST dough, made fresh daily. There is a variety of pies to choose from, or you can make your own. The BBQ chicken rules and so does the Eggplant Parmaesan. This place is also a cool hangout spot, as they have draft beer and a counter with cable TV. You can buy by the slice or whole pie. The employees are always nice and they do free deliveries within a certain distance after 5pm.
